i have HTC explorer and my phone is completely locked and cant even access my phone with the Email ID
even though i knw d username nd password as well...i came 2 knw dat it requires WI-FI or mobile network on...bt dyzzz happened wid me b4 as well bt i was able 2 access my email widout internet connection...

I can not remember the google email address for the phone and now i can not access the phone. Orange customer service has told me to get in touch with google, in order to delete the old account [whatever that may be] but there is no number for google customer service.

With the past two Android phones I had, I would just Boot into recovery (Vol. Down & Power button), but this phone won't load into one. I also tried Vol. Up and Power. Nothing. I then tried both, but it went into the "S/W Upgrade" screen. Is there anyway to bypass this without having to send it back?

I tried to send username to backup email address but I tried the only other 2 email addresses I have, only to recieve an email from google stating that an account didnt exist with these backup email addresses.
After fighting with sprint for 3 hours I came to find out they are unable to give me the info to the gmail account that THEY set up when I got my EVO. Apparently the only thing they can do is reset my phone causing me to loose all of my numbers, photos, ect
The situation is this: at work the computers are heavily locked down. By that I mean that you can not download and install anything, no cd rom access and no usb access. they run win xp (some of you may be too young to have heard of this)
I have recently discovered, however, that when i plug my galaxy s3 in, the pc sees it as a digital camera, and i can access every folder on the internal sd card through windows explorer. i can then transfer any file i like to the computer This never happened on my g note, nexus s, or any other device.
Now, I can only confirm that the above works on xpower 2.5 ics custom rom. when I changed to hypergalaxy jb rom, there was no access to my phone via the pc.
how and why this works, and how i might use a hack to enable any usb device on such a locked down pc?
Good evening. Please help me regarding my phone's pattern lock keys. It got locked-out due to many wrong attempts to unlock it. Now, it needs a google id in order to reactivate the phone. View 2 Replies View RelatedI've tried AutoLock and LockBot and maybe I didn't set an option correctly, but I can't seem to get a password or pattern unlock after a reboot/power off/on cycle.Both work fine during normal power on operations, but when I power cycle the phone it just comes up with the normal swipe unlock right into an open Eris with no password/pattern required. Kind of defeats the purpose by allow a bypass of the security.Maybe I'm missing something here or having a Homer moment.

Anyways i did this to the point where it required a google id login. So i sigh and attempt to login, does not work, i try 10 more times before i find out that this is an ongoing android problem. I do a hard reset, still doesnt work. Now 5 hours later im pissed beyond belief wondering why google put so much effort into a dumb pattern lock and why it still does not work after a full restore.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my Epic setup to poll my corporate POP3 mail server every 10 minutes.When I arrived at work this morning I changed the polling to "Never" on my Epic, and opened Outlook on my PC.I received an error indicating the the POP3 server was locked by another session.I turned off my Epic and a minute or so later, Outlook was able to successfully connect.How can this be avoided? Am I not completely closing out of the Email session on my Epic?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI just flashed my Sony Ericson Xperia Play with a custom kernal and ROM. I am attempting to connect to the google play store but it wont let me use my yahoo account. When it says to enter my account it asks for a google account and my yahoo account is currently associated with google, i have been able to download apps for my phone through this account before (Before flashing the phone).
It's not the flash which has made it impossible to use my yahoo account but the fact that i need a gmail account now to download apps. In the past i have been able to use my yahoo account but i cannot get it to work.
How i can log into the play store with my yahoo account? Is it impossible to access the play store with a non gmail account or that you cant have a google account associated with a non gmail email address i will post screenshot for proof.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy current device is a BlackBerry 9930 that's going to be retired later today when I get the Samsung Galaxy S4. It's no longer available, but I've been using the old BlackBerry Desktop Manager software that includes a Redirector program that runs on the work computer to send/receive work e-mails on my phone. This avoids the whole IT lockdown on my own personal phone while giving me the only thing I need, which is e-mail access. Is there something similar in the Android community?
If not, would IT have control over my device if I were to add the e-mail account to my device? Something I'd like to avoid as it's my personal phone...
