General :: No Video But Has Sound Netflix MTK 6589T?

I have a Cubot One mobile phone. The phone plays videos from every company but Netflix. I don't know how to make netflix video play. The audio will play but the screen is black while the video plays, unless you advance the the video by hand then you can see the video play while it is buffering, but of course you can not hear anything when you advance the video by hand. Is it netflix programming or is it the Android 4.2.1 or what? Is there are work around.

In my application, RTSP streams play only sound without video, but if i specify the video path as a local file, it plays the video and audio.
How would i get the RTSP streams to show video?

I have a THL W8, and have some problems using netfix apk, On stock ROM netflix plays extreme slow, like slow motion. Then I upgrade to Gravitymod2 custom ROM, and now plays a normal speed, but only plays audio, video shows blank screen.

The weird thing is, I haven't even used it. All I've done is install it and but it's using 10% of my battery. There only thing using more is the screen. Nexus 7.

I just installed my Google TV from Sony (NSZ-GT7) bought in the UK.But its connected to and US IP address.Unfortunately I can't find Netflix anywhere.. Not on the bok, and not on the Google Play Store.

Netflix cannot play movies on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 lte N7105 240 dpi. I am on Wanam Lite rom 4.1.2.
If I change back my dpi to stock 320 dpi everything works perfectly.
I there is a modified Netflix .apk maybe that is modified to work with 240 dpi?

Some time ago I bought a G-box, an android based miniPC with hdmi output. I love Netflix but I need subtitles, which are present, indeed, but are ultra small on my 32" LCD (see pic) and just readable on my 42" LED. As Netflix users knows, there is not a configuration panel for this application and beside the embarrassing limitation of streaming 480p like I'm used to see on my Wii this is quite annoying.

I have a Nexus 7 (got it for $25 because the previous owner dropped it and about 1/2" square area of the upper right side of the digitizer no longer responds to touch, aside from that it's 100% functional, and it's the 8GB model) and I also have a Netflix subscription which my Wife uses quite frequently, but because she's deaf the captions are an absolute must. Unfortunately with the Nexus 7's awesome 1280x800 display the default font size Netflix has chosen is pretty small, it's like a 20 point font or something as this screenshot shows:
I've been searching through the filesystem on this Nexus 7 and I haven't had much luck with locating something like a "build.prop" file for the Netflix app that might allow me to adjust the size of the font it uses by default. If there's a way to alter that and make it about twice as large as the default size I really would love to make that a reality.

Is there a way to upgrade the Rom on the Cozyswan CS102 II android smart tv dongle? It runs very slowly on the pre-installed Rom (version 4.04). And Netflix doesn't work properly.

I have a Motorola Xoom and a Logitech Bluetooth keyboard. I have my tablet connected to the TV via HDMI. When I open the Netflix app with the keyboard I cannot use the arrow keys to navigate the app. I tired the Tablet Remote app, but it has the same results. I thought of maybe trying TeamViewer on phone and tablet, but thought there might be a better solution.
Is there a way to remotely use the Netflix app on my tablet so I can use it on my TV?

I have had my Evo since launch day. I have recorded some videos for fun and they play back on the phone nicely. But today, I connected the phone to my PC and wanted to play a video. I got video with no sound. I tried several I recorded some at 720fps and some at VGA. Same results. Videos I downloaded from You Tube play fine. Just the ones I recorded on my phone. I have a relatively new HP running Widows 7 and have used Quick Time and Windows Media Player. Neither would play the sound. Anyone have a problem like this?

I've seen a thread which covers this topic - but I've started a new one, as the question is slightly different.I've just downloaded the Act 1 video player (demo) from the Android Market to see if the sound and video are out of sync when using this media player - and they're not. The video plays perfectly. The downside is that to play more than 2 minutes, I have to buy the app - even though it's not a lot of money ($1.79), that's beside the point! I see that many people with this sync fault have reported it to HTC, but we're all waiting for a firmware update to resolve it. I think giving this app for free would resolve most people's issues!

I have a rooted Google Nexus one that is running the stock 2.2. I have been going crazy trying to figure out why I dont have sound when playing back video I record ? The microphone works fine since I can use it to google search and so forth, it just wont record sound in video ? Anybody have any suggestions on how to fix this ?

went to a concert last night took vidoes and was trying to upload them to the comp, Its wont let me mail them and when i use my usb wire and drag and drop them the sound is gone.. I can play it on the phone just fine but even when i open the file from the phone via comp i have no sound, video plays just fine .. Can anyone help please

I just recorded some footage of our family reunion for my cousin, and really want to get it off of my phone. So I decide to put it in my computer. While watching videos on youtube on my HTC Desire, I noticed a lag in the sound vs. the video. That lag isn't present when I watch it on my laptop (well, the typical 53ms lag yes, but nothing else). I've tried multiple videos and all the same results. Is there a video player I should test this out with, using 5-10 minute clips?
