Looking for support.. Bought a new Android 4.2.2 table for it's Multi-user capability. Unfortunately the User menu is missing from the settings menu. The tablet is an Eken GC10x. I believe ROM may be Wing-K70?? It's been rooted, but still no User menu option..

My Quest tablet is accidentally locked yesterday it asking for gmail and password but i forgot the gmail id and password.So after a long search i found lots of things such as unlocking tablet pattern lock,gmail lock,pin lock etc.These topics only be successfull only when the tablet is in recovery mode.So i tried to put my tablet into recovery mode by pressing vol + and power button.But there appears a android bot lying with red traiangle exlamation.So i simply tried to access recovery menu by pressing power and the vol + .But nothing happens neither than a dead android bot lying down with a red traiangle.

My daughter has an account on the same device and I'd like to give her 'read only' access to the mp3 library in my account (rather than loading the same files into her account and wasting space with 'duplicate mp3' files).
None of the file manager apps I've tried so far seem to have the ability of setting file permissions.
I get the android laying down with red triangle appear when I try access the boot menu.Not sure which tablet I got but to know which tablet the device is:
when holding the volume up key and power button for a nano second before the lying down android with triangle i get a standing up android with a blue orb animating in it's body.
I have an Options menu up and running in my Android application and I've overridden the onCreateOptionsMenu, onOptionsItemSelected and onPrepareOptionsMenu methods to customize the menu a little. My question is related to keeping the Options menu open after the user clicks on a menu item. Basically, I'd like to be able to hide the menu until the user clicks on the device menu key. Once the user clicks on this key, I'd like to be able to hold the menu in place regardless of how many times the user clicks on menu items. If the user wants to hide the Options menu, they'd just need to click on the device menu key again. Is this type of interaction supported (or even advisable).

Which event is called when a user click on the disabled item? It's not onContextItemSelected nor onContextMenuClosed. But the menu is closed after the click.
I have a Nexus 7 tablet and every few days I notice a few new apps on the device. I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.

Well needles to say I can no longer start it up. This tablet has no model number on it, not even in the instructions.

I want to install a new rom to my android tablet.There are necessary instructions and files.One of the files are rockchip batch tool v1.5 and other is a disc image file named rom.
It says
1- load the drivers
2-select the img file (rom) in batch tool
3-install it to device by clicking restore.
Is this enough or should i delete the rom that is already loaded in my tablet.Like when we format the old OS in computers?

When you power the device on, it comes to the generic power on screen and then nothing. I have done the whole holding the power button, hitting the reset button, all of those things. I'd like to have the Android SDK docs installed on my Nexus 7 so I can RTFM while away from the office. After downloading them using the SDK Manager within Eclipse I've tried copying the guide, reference, and assets directories onto the tablet and accessing the index.html files with Chrome, but the navigation doesn't work properly and things are incredibly slow. (The links within are relative, so they resolve, but it's still unusable.)
I have also not been able to find a PDF file that contains the SDK docs, though you'd think that would be an obvious resource to have around.

My android tablet will power on, but after the little green guy goes away it goes to the screen where is only says android and it flashes through the letters. After a couple times it wil stop flasing in between the d & the r. Then keeps doing that.

Also The tablets are a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and do not have micro sd card slots. Can not use WiFi to create or restore clone/image with a cloud service(connection is poor and unreliable).
