Ive done lots of searching and tetsing but so far very little luck I am lookinh for an app that lets me share pics/vids with another phone with the same app over 3g/wifi. I had an app like this beore. spriid, but it seems that the spriid server is down.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have my Google account also setup on my wife's phone so we can share purchased apps. However, everything else is shared too. For example, even though I have sync for everything on my account turned off, my calendar still showed up on my wife's phone until I disabled it in the calendar app. Also, I can't remove my Google Talk account from her phone so my messages show up on her phone.
This is on a pair of stock Samsung Galaxy S3 phones.
Does anyone know of a way to share the larger vid files either in H.263 or MP4, phone to phone? OR even Phone to email. I've tried to attatch them and send them via gmail, but the recipient never gets the attatchment, not even for viewing on their PC.

I have a moto droid and when i receive a mms it just shows a picture and doesn't actually show the video that is. I have tried handcent and the native messaging app. Any idea on what i should try. I am running chevy v3.0 ese81

View 3 Replies View Relatedthe gmail app on the DINC does not support video and pic sharing? m I missing something here. When you take a vid and go to share, gmail comes up as one of your options. If you proceed down this route, you don't get an error, but the vid never gets attached and delivered. The only way to do this is through the HTC Mail app. On this same note, another gripe I have is why Android lists the sharing options if you can't actually use them to share. You can't share a video over Handcent/Messaging Apps...so why show them as options for sharing? You can't upload to facebook directly, so why list them as an option. Seems like a glaring issue that will confuse newbies (my wife) and may ultimately affect their adoption of the platform. I'm all for the customization and openness of Android, but they need to work out these little quirks if they want to capture any respectable market share.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I'm having a small issue trying to share videos on Youtube. Essentially, I'm forced to log in every single time I want to upload a video. Here's how it happens: I take a video with the stock camera app. Go to the gallery, and click share. Choose Youtube. It asks me to login. I do, and it uploads fine over wifi. Take another video, same steps, and I'm asked to login again. The problem is, I have a long username, so this is really annoying. I'd think it would cache my username for at least as long as the youtube app is still open in the background, or gallery, or something. I've tried going into the youtube app directly, logging in, and then doing all this. No matter what I do, I have to login to youtube every single time. There are other Droid threads about login errors to youtube via the app, but I'm not experiencing that - I'm able to login fine, I'm just annoyed I have to do it every single time I want to use youtube, be it via the app or sharing through gallery. I'm learning to Cut All when I login the first time, then pasting each subsequent time, so at least I'm only retyping my password each time. Which makes it not a huge deal, but still an annoyance Especially since I tend to upload in batches. Anyone else experiencing this? Is this a security thing or did they just forget the "remember me" checkbox?

The email stays in my Sent folder and never goes out.. various other forums (Hero, Droid, Android Apps) all say you have to clear your Gmail Cache.. Did that. still doesnt work.. I have important pics that I want to send. what is the alternative if no fix to the Gmail app ..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had this problem for a while, and my boyfriend has too. I have the moto droid and he has droid eris. When certain people send me picture messages and I touch them to open and view it plays as a video, the picture will play for a second and then go to black screen and then back to the messaging screen. It wasn't sent as a video message by the person so why is it "playing " instead of just letting me open it in the gallery and view it like most? I've searched google and other forums for an answer but still nothing.. its not a huge deal but I would like to fix it if possible.
View 3 Replies View RelatedMy phone has the rooted 2.1 dd10 version or whichever and I am not receiving picture/video messages. I called Sprint and they said I was "in the red." We tried everything over the phone to try to get around the issue without having to reflash. Any other ideas? I tried pulling the battery for 2 minutes, changing the MSID number.The MSID number won't stay.It goes back to 0000000. Any other ideas or is reflashing the way to go?

On the Moto droid the pic would show on the message and if i clicked on it it would stay open. Is tue a way to change this or what?

I am currently using 1.6 tweaked v3 and the problem is if I can't send message using the message app(because can't find email contacts) but have to go through contacts (gmail)to send a picture. However when I do that, I can't attach a video. Now if I use the camera/camcorder app, while reviewing pictures the "send to" doesn't work. If i click on "default destination" and delete the emply destination I can choose between 5 options. The phone book option say "sorry!" the application has stopped unexpectedly and to force close. I can send video using the video player which is weird since doing it in the camcorder app won't work!. Seems alot of round about ways to do something which should be simple.

I have two photograph widgets on one of my screens, one set up for newly taken pictures and one set up for newly shot video. The only problem is, I don't know how to change the default video save location. I am using the astro file manager and have seen that all videos and pictures save into a file named DCIM on my SD card. How do I change this to make it save pictures and videos into different files?I have made a different file for my videos and manually moved them into the folder but the phone is still saving new videos to the same old default place.

I don't have a ton of photos but I want something similar to iTunes that will sync my photos on my PC with my tablet. I tried many options but eventually chose to install Picasa on my PC and sync my albums to web. Great, I thought, because now all my photos appear on my tablet and aren't taking up space on it. But now I'm having issues with the Facebook app. If I go into it and try to add a photo it only shows me my camera photos. If I go into the gallery app or Google+ Photos and try to share a photo, it gives me an error. It doesn't have this problem for any other app, I can easily add photos or share to Twitter or Instagram.

Tablet is not a must but would be nice to be able to do going forward. 1. Can I use the same account on both the mobile and Tablet?
2. Any apps, I have bought on my mobile, from the Google Play Store, can I also download the the Tablet, if using the same account, or do I need to re-buy it?
I have to say that an user profile is a must have feature in an education. So no devices under android 4.2 aren't possible, because there must be an option to use "student profile" in a device to prevent any installation from an user.
1) If i have several devices (like 50 Android devices, Android 4.2 or later), what is the easiest way to manage them all at the same time?
- wifi?
- sync application for this?
- administration profile?
2) Do I have to make an account for each devices in GooglePlay or can I add them all under one account?How can i buy and install apps for each devices?
3) And does the Allshare offer sharing a screen with several devices?
How to manage several devices easiest wat - administration, installing/deleting apps, emptying devices (for example photos/videos...)...Or is it just better to choose iPad with a sync case? Im more interested in Android tablets because they offer much more for less money (example Galaxy Note serie). But I have no idea how to manage them all at the same time.
