General :: KTweaker Not Allowing OC Steps?

I have an issue with the Ktweaker app that came with the Ktoonz kernel. I flashed the new Hyperdrive rls12 rom with the ktoonz kernel that was in the rom. Everything is great with the rom except the Ktweaker app will not work right. When I tap the OC steps it does not allow me to raise the freq. past my stock max freq. (1890)? I have a Verizon Galaxy S4 (MK2) on 4.3, Rooted, with Safestrap 3.71. I am running Hyperdrive rls12 with Ktoonz Kernel.

I've been trying for some time to install apps to SD on my Galaxy S3 using apps such as link2SD etc but have had little to no success. I've heard that some custom ROMs allow you to do this without additional software. Since I was planning on ditching the stock ROM in favour of something with better performance and most importantly better battery life I've been looking for a ROM to suit my needs. However most ROM download sites seem to have little information regarding this and I am yet to find a ROM with this capability. Any ROMs that can do this?

Any way to allow certain phone calls to come through when your phone is in airplane mode? I would like to set my phone up so that in an emergency my husband and children can reach me even if my phone is in airplane mode.

I have a new Samsung Galaxy device and the 15 step volume for music is driving me nuts. 15 is not enough choices for volume level.I have tried 30/45 step volume mod for xposed framework and it does not seem to work correctly on TouchWiz roms.
explain to me a simple way to deodex the framework on my stock Touchwiz rom and odex it back.I know how to get the framework off the device and how to put it back. I also know how to edit it with notepad++
how to modify framework to properly increase volume steps on Touch wiz roms????

We are providing an Android Service to multiple customers for packaging into their .apks and need to ensure that only a single instance of our Service is running at a time. The ideal situation would be this: When one of our customers's apps is installed on a device, it looks for instances of our Service. If our service is not present, our customer's app would install our Service. If our Service was present, the customer's app would use the existing Service. If the currently installed Service was an older version, our customer's app would upgrade the current Service with the newer one. We are pursuing a Shared Library solution, but this introduces many extra issues: access to resources, declaration of our Services in the customer manifest,Instead, we prefer to provide our customers with an .apk that would be optionally installed.

I think the title says it all, don't you? It should be possible to create a new contact App by duplicating an existing one, either in GMail Contacts (in a full-fledged browser) or directly in the Contacts app on an Android device. This would allow, for example, adding new members of a family or new employees of a company. Then, just the new name, email or phone number (or whatever) could be entered to replace the duplicated ones and leave the remaining fields all the same. As a former Palm user, I was able to do this on that platform (primitive as it now seems by comparison to Android).

I`m kind of a noob with android an have messed my phone up , basically had a custom rom running leedroid then sold the phone, so decided to reset it then after resetting, the phone ended up in a boot loop so put it in recovery and tried installing the leedroid rom again but cant get it to install or any other rom need urgent help lol as i need to get this thing sent of the phone was on t-mobile but i got it unlocked can somebody please help . Would like to just get it back working again as i have tryed for around 15 hours and still no luck! i get this error file_getprop: failed to stat "/system/build.prop": No such file or directory E:Error in /sdcard/2.1 Update with Root.zip (status 7) Installation aborted.

I'm not programming for Froyo yet, I still developing against 1.6 for now. I've been asked to allow my app to be stored on the SD card. Is there a way to add that option to my app? Is it a setting in the manifest?

I have a semi-rooted Galaxy S3 (I tried to root it but even the apps installed by KingRoot said my phone wasn't rooted... I also occasionally get a notification that says "unauthorized access to a secure area has been blocked." I also tried to factory reset in an attempt to un-root, but nothing happened..
Anyway, I tried to update to 4.2 (I'm on Sprint) and now my phone won't turn on.

I am working on an app that connects to a media providing site and downloads mp3 files to the user phone. I would like for the user to be unable to copy these files off the phone but only listen to them through my app. I am currently trying to encrypt the files using DES and encryption and decrypt and play the file in bits in the app. This is however not working. Is there a better way of achieving my end goal or has anyone else implemented a similar solution?

I got my DINC rooted last night and got wireless tether working on my computer and my iTouch, so today I went to my sisters house she has a stock DINC, I turned on my wireless tether, turned on her WiFi, it does not find anything but her home WiFi. I tried to manually input my SSID and still nothing.

back with 2.1 there was the issue with GPS, and once it was activated not allowing the phone to "sleep." You could see the results of this in the "Battery History" screen that Spare Parts would give you.First of all this does not seem to be fixed with 2.2 unless im missing something in my settings, and actually it seems to have gotten worse.Even when i change my WiFi Sleep Policy to turn off when "screen is off" it seems as though the phone cannot go to sleep, and my Wifi is not turning off as it should.

I rooted my phone last night and have installed a ROM manager and a file manager. I dislike the ROM that I have on my phone right now (I believe its plainjanev2 or something titled like that). I have found other ROM's that I want to download and have tried but they don't work. What am I doing wrong? Can someone give me the steps (and how to complete the steps) or send me to a detailed video/forum that will show me how to do this?

I rooted my phone with the help from this forum. All went well. My phone started off a stock unmolested 2.1 version with update 1 and ESE81 and in about an hour, I was wirelessly tethered to my laptop and on the internet. A lot of this was copied and pasted from Fabolous' threads, so props to him. Before you do anything, make sure to copy your contacts to your SD card and anything else you are afraid to loose. The first section won't erase anything, but second section will. Some of these steps may not be needed, but these are just the steps I took, and it worked.
These are the steps:
1.) Download SPRecovery_ESE81.sbf to your C: root directory (C:)
2.) Download md5sum
3.) Place md5sum in c:windowssystem32.....

So I am trying to flash the WW rom and i can flash it just fine and everything works like it should but i had to wipe obviously to flash it, when i do a Nand Restore, it restores to the EE 3.0 rom i'm coming from. Can someone tell me when i'm supposed to restore? Should I wipe and then flash the rom, and THEN restore? Or should I wipe restore then flash the rom? I'm confused on the process i guess.

I'm trying to port one of my OpenGL/Glut programs over to Android 1.6. I used GLut extensively due to my classes teaching glut. Is there an alternative to glutTimerFunc or replacement for using glutTimerFunc? Also, any ideas where I can replace glutMainLoop? From looking at a few examples, onDrawFrame what I should be looking at?

I have noticed that over the last 2 months that when I'm in a call It is not allowing me to use the touchscreen for anything including ending the call. At first i wasn't too fussed about this as i could just use the power button to end the call but it is extremely annoying when it comes to getting numbers or when you need to press numbers to get through the menus when getting hold of companies etc.

This may have been discussed before, and I haven't found anything on it.
I bought my phone and in-therefore own my phone. Should I not be allowed to have full access to the piece of equipment if I so want? I'm not renting it, such as in the case of a cable box, nor am I leasing, rent-to-own, etc...I understand the need to block users out from certain areas of the phone for the general public to ensure uniform reliability and technical support, but as the owner of the individual piece of equipment, should HTC be ethically bound to release information on how to give me full root access to the equipment that I paid for? Am I missing something?
