General :: Vodafone Smart Chat Low On Internal Memory - Root Software
Jan 20, 2013I have a Vodafone Smart Chat (half touchscreen, half physical keyboard, blackberry style) and I am constantly out of internal memory, even though I have about 3 very small apps installed that aren't factory installed. I have an 8gb card in it of my own, however, whenever I install an app it first needs to be installed to internal memory first, according to Vodafone, so due to lack of space available nothing can be installed.
Apps that I have installed say they are on the external card, but I notice that when installing/un-installing, the internal memory increases/decreases by the storage amount the app uses.
I haven't been able to find the required software to root it.

Apr 7, 2013I had a problem with my old Vodafone Smart II phone Alcatel V860, and I put another original ROM on it. Everything was fine. I rooted also the phone, not a problem. But when I went into recovery mode I noticed something weird, only my volume keys up and down are functional to make selections in TCT recovery console, but not also the select button (the home button). This worked before! I also noticed much more options in the recovery console than before, but what good? I can't select options from the recovery menu whatever I do, just navigate through them.

On my old Vodafone 845 when i change custom rom i found on Dev Tools settings for headset button, but such was not created another custom rom for Smart 3, i was unable to change button function.

Jan 6, 2014I could not find an answer to unbrick my android smart tv player. The player does not boot I believe since ther is no picture on the screen and it does not show any reaction on inputs from the remote (usually the LED on the front blinks at input). Only the power button on the remote works and turns the device on and off. Thats it
I found several solution to unbrick Android Players which have a hidden button behind the AV jack, but those are different models that have different ports. I also tried holding down Vol- Home and Power on the remote to get into recovery, but it doesn't work. I attached pictures of my device.
Is there a way to boot into recovery using USB or SD Card. The dievice has 2 USBs and a SD Card slot. Or any other way to unbrick or factory reset it.

I have an old D2 that my wife wants to use. She currently uses a dumb phone. She doesn't want a data plan, doesn't want the smart phone features. She just wants to use it for calling & texting.

General :: Vodafone 858 Bricked After Rooting With Z4 Root?
Oct 5, 2011I "permanant" rooted my vodafone 858 with z4 root.. and when it turned itself to reboot, it got stuck on the vodafone logo..! The phone won't load, and the vodafone logo repeditely comes up....
Does this mean that my phonen is bricked and I should chuck it away?? Is there anyway to fix it?

Sep 16, 2013Looking for possibly undeleting a few pictures I took yesterday on my Galaxy 4S smart phone.
I know the directory where I need to do the undeleting but none of the un-delete programs I have gathered will show anything that makes sense when it comes to the phone.
When i plug in the phone to my computer I get 2 directories..
Phone and Card (card is my 32gb micro sd)
The pictures I would need to try undeleting would be in the following directory: ComputerSCH-I545PhoneDCIMCamera
I cannot find a way to have any undelete program scan that portion to recover files... I have even taken out the micro sd card which did not matter ..
