View 1 Replies View RelatedI bought my Galaxy Ace S5830i last month. I hadn't installed Samsung Kies until yesterday, when I launched it it prompted a firmware upgrade. First I tried to use kies to upgrade but whenever the upgrade process started (Kies started downloading the firmware files) my device automatically got disconnected..I tried reinstalling kies, restarting my phone but nothing worked.
I then decided to use odin(v1.87) to flash the firmware on my device but it kept failing at first step itself. Here's what it said :-

The phone has been working as fine as ever. Kies never got to the step of INSTALLING the new firmware as whenever it started downloading the firmware files my phone got disconnected so no damage there.
With ODIN I entered download mode but here too it fails at the beginning, so I just switch off my phone and restart it and it works as if nothing ever happened (I've made several attempts)

but now my mobile is stuck in bootloop problem, .. i wiped cache/ factory reset through recovery mode, it's also didnt worked again it stuck in loop..after that i decided to install official firmware from XDA, i did that for about 3 hoours again no useat all, again it stucks in bootloop...i tried both single file installation( pda section only) and multi firmware installation(pda, ops, csc), but nothing works..It shows dat

I have a Samsung Galaxy S2 Plus GT-I9105 and only a few hours ago, my Google Account showed "Can't Sync" and "Sync will be back shortly" type of messages. As a result, I couldn't sync contacts, access Google+ and couldn't open Google Play even if there was Wi-Fi.
Note that I don't use a 3G or 4G because those are not available in my country. Also note that every other account like Dropbox, Evernote, Whatsapp and Viber etc work and I am even able to browse the web on the Chrome app. Also the internet connection in my home is working okay.

I just got my first android phone, a samsung galaxy s4 and love it. I have been able to set it up as I want for the most part. One thing I cant figure out though, how do you set google account sync to only sync over wifi? I know you can go into the data section and choose which apps can update over wifi, but I don't see one for google account sync. Is it called google services or something? In the google plus I was able to set it to update photos and videos over wifi, but what about the calendar, app data, drive etc.?

My S4 auto delete my images, videos, music and documents once in a while like twice a month?
Basically, all files from "My Files" folder are deleted. My apps, contacts and sms-es are all unaffected. I don't have any SD card attached.
After that incidence, I decided to factory data reset my S4 as I suspected the software might be corrupted or infected by virus or something. The same thing happened again after 2weeks or so.
I went to send a text message today, and all of my conversations had been cleared. This has happened once before about a year ago and I eventually gave up trying to restore my messages. How to prevent it? I'm thinking the message database is somehow getting corrupted which is why it's clearing out all of my conversations?
I'm running 2.3.3 - my phone was rooted at some point but I'm guessing after an OS update I lost that capability. This happened before the OS update and now after.
I'm in the process of switching from an iPhone 4 to the Samsung Galaxy Nexus purchased direct from Google. I wish to setup my Yahoo account, but I've run into a problem. I can receive and send emails without problems, but I can't find a feature to automatically bcc messages back to myself. I do this so that I can synchronize Sent messages with my PC. Is this feature missing in Android V4.1 or am I just not seeing it?

It starts to downloads email, contacts and calender entries but then starts to freeze or pop-up screens appears saying that there is no contact with TwLauncher - it doesn't matter if I choose "wait" or "force close". Even if I delete the exchange account the phone keeps freezing and I have to do a phone reset (with all the setting up and downloading of apps to follow). I have tried to set up the account on a clean phone with NO other apps installed same problem. What do I do? Our server is Exchange 2003. It works fine with my colleagues Nokia and HTC phones.

The Desire is rooted, but I had trouble with that process so I don't really want to reset the phone to its factory state. However, I can't delete my Google account to make my husband's the primary. This means that he has to remember to change accounts for each email he writes, among other inconveniences, and the phone is showing a triangle error icon in the notification bar because I canceled its access to my 2-step validation process, so it isn't happy about not being able to synchronize my account. I'd like to sell my HD2 running Android. However I cannot get it to reset the gmail account that I entered on it. These are things I've tried. Its a windows based hd2 running android so the correct section was a little confusing. Also I didn't flash it and of course the person that did isn't around compounding the issue.
