I'm using titanium backup each time I restore or flash with a new ROM but I have not find an easy way to restore only the :APN preferences (Internet access / MMS)
Saved Wireless network
Different accounts
For the accounts & wireless I've found them in titanium backup, but unfortunately not for the APN settings (and I have to enter them manuallly each time...)
I've seen that google keeps a backup of our phone... hmmm... are all these settings stored? if yes how to restore them?
I'm looking for an app that backs up the "Accounts & Sync" settings for all my accounts, before flashing a new rom. I tried "MyBackup" from the market and it backed up my Sensation quite nicely, but it doesn't restore the accounts and setting up everything again was difficult.
Any app that does a backup that includes a backup of the "Accounts & Sync" settings?
I'd like to know if there's a way to backup and restore all your configured sync accounts within JB.
I find it very annoying to have to redo each one after every flash.
Unfortunately TitaniumBackup doesn't work well for this anymore
moving contacts from one android device to another, or from an iPhone to an android (or viceversa)!!
This is my scenario: I've got my android tablet (the asus transformer) and I have 3 accounts set up there, 2 are gmail accounts (say, account A and account B) and a third corporate account (exchange activesync, call it account C)
I used account B when I was in my last job and have a lot of business contacts there. What I want to do is to have a simple way of copying some of these business contacts over to the exchange account (account C). I also would like to copy a couple from account A (personal stuff) into account C.

I'm used with my Windows computers to make a genuine unstarted system image (Ghost, now Acronis)
When I have a new computer, I take out the main HDD and make an image or boot with an Acronis boot disk and make an genuine image, can I do something similar with Android devices?
Is EFS the system image or just the system files, restoring an EFS backup is enough to make a device bootable again without Root?
Windows PC suitable for this? ADB I guess...
Perhaps it's not possible because I haven't see any topic about making an genuine image before first start of an new device or restoring a factory image... Every time Root is involved.
I'm planning on getting my wife a tablet for christmas and the one I found is running Android 4.0, is it possible to copy my backup recovery from my N7 and root and flash the other device? If so, any other roms.

I'd like to know if there's a way to use Titanium Backup to preform a backup and then transfer those backups to my computer ?
I know this may sound simple but am under the impression that when you make a backup of your ROM and other files on your device, it has to stay on the device.
When making a NANDROID backup, is it safer and more useful if one can store those backups on one's computer ?
Am sure there's a way to do this but am not sure if there's already an app for it.
with the latest versions of Titanium Backup, I can't seem to figure out how to do batch backup and restore of apps and data anymore.

Basically I have an old iPod touch 2g on iOS 4.x and a Nexus 5.
I want to use my iPod as my media player but I'd like to be able to control music from my Nexus (only basic controls).
Is there an app on either device that allows this? I know tsk skipping can be done by some Bluetooth headphones so I'm hoping there's a way to make iOS accept command from my Nexus
I need to delete the gmail account from my old job off my droid. When i first synced that email account it automatically linked all my existing contacts to that email. so when i try to delete it it deletes all my contacts. Is there a way to change the email account that a contact is linked with? The password has been changed on that email account so im also constantly getting an error message that the account cannot sync.
View 4 Replies View RelatedGot an X2 in May that had to be replaced yesterday. I used to be able to open the email app (using icon), then go to menu key/Email settings/Default email account and I could radio button between my two accounts, both were options (yahoo and outlook). My yahoo account is all set up correctly, and im getting notifications, but I cant toggle back and forth, because only one account is listed.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMoved from a droid x2 to a rasr maxx and have been unable to add one of my email account. I'm using the email app native to the rasr and get to the part where you tell it to go off and set up the account, where it cycles for about 45 seconds and then comes back with the message that it could not open connection.
I've made damn sure the account user name was correct as well as the password. Even did it twice, same result. Next I tried to manually set up the account and got the same damn error message. Now, I'm not sure that I had the port correct and I tried all of the security settings to no avail.
I just want to know if and how I can activate 2 accounts on WhatsApp on the same phone, I am using Samsung Galaxy S Duos GT-S7562.

View 3 Replies View RelatedAny way to merge Google Play accounts? I have two email accounts on my phone, I wish to take that down to one but there are purchased apps in both accounts at Google Play. I looked into this some time ago and Google told me back then that they could not merge accounts -- which I thought was rather ridiculous. Doesn't Google have the (sometime scary) power to do just about anything? Anyway, they told me that I'd have to contact each and every paid app maker that I'd purchased from and see if they'd give me a new download under a different email addy since I'd already paid once. I finally gave up and just re-purchased the most important apps.
