Is it possible to add facebook "Recommend" Button to my android app and how do I do it?
To be more specific I want to add a button to my app that will post on facebook the standart "Recommend post" with a link to my app in Google Play and its icon as image. Is that possible and how?

I'm missing the recommend for you section in the play store app. It's been missing since yesterday on my Xperia s but it's still there on my sola. Did my s get an play store update that removed it? Is there any way to access it again?

I love the Hero as is & have heard that under the custom roms it runs even better, is this true.
More so which of the Custom Roms would you recommend & why?
And in the event I dont like the Rom is the action reversible?

I installed something called advanced task manager from the marketplace however I am finding several threads on how its not a good thing for the phone. I have no idea if its good or bad, but I do know that what shows up in the task manager list of running apps is way different than what shows up in the phones running task list - menu/settings/applications/running services. What shows up in task manager is a bunch of stuff that running services don't show. So whats the scoop? To have or not to have?

I'm having some buyers' remorse (annoying interface, keyboard, crashes), and was hoping for suggestions on an alternative. I'm out of my Tmobile contract - so I can hop to another carrier. Can someone suggest a good blackberry-like phone running android? I tried the Motorola Charm, but found it underpowered. Here are my needs - Blackberry-like physical keyboard for 1 handed typing Blackberry-like size (don't really care about having a HUGE screen)

View 3 Replies View RelatedSkyfire IS awesome. It plays videos that the regular browser doesn't play And they look awesome. I played a full COPS episode and 24 for about 20 minutes. Sadly, it started a House video, but cut off after about 5 minutes. But it shows promise...I'm still checking it out, watching a Bones show now. BTW, the videos I watched were on the 3G mobile network, not WI-FI. Hopefully it will hook up and work with my SUV entertainment system via TV out.
So far:
Most FOX TV shows play
CBS seems to be an infinite buffer/load screen
NBC shows play fine, watching "Office" right now.
Still exploring others
Overall, the browser itself is far superior to the stock browser, IMO. Pinch to zoom works, variety of settings, videos load in their own window. Pretty neat stuff.
What email client can people recommend? I have a LOT of email accounts, and having them all link to my phone would be very useful.Any ideas?

I want a player that just monitors one folder on my SD card that I can designate. I tried MixZing, but it does this stupid thing where it monitors what I play and tries to play similar stuff from my library. I skip a song and I end up seeing the same song I heard 3 songs ago. It's frustrating. I don't want that feature. Any suggestions on what media play will work best for me? I had bTunes, but it's buggy on 2.2 and it would seem that the developer has no plans to update the app any time soon.
