In GMail, there is no option to enlarge the test.
After moving in to 4.0 in my 7 inches flat panel, the words in GMail is too small to read. how to enlarge the words in GMail this program?

If you zoom in, you'll notice that the image gets bigger.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI got the Galaxy s4 yesterday. I'm going crazy just trying to add word to the dictionary. I can't even get it to spell my own name. It does not have the "personal dictionary" option under "language and input" that I am used to. I took it to Best Buy and three separate techs there played with it and they could not figure it out either.
How do I add words?
where my phone wont scroll accuratly. Ill go back to try to fix an issue say 3 lines up from where I am and it wont scroll to the correct place I tried to place it. also if you get the cursor where you want it to fix a mistake getting it to go back where you were typing before trying to fix the mistake is a headache. Itll recenter the screen once yoy try to click back to where you were typing so you cannot see where or what your typing. I currently havr the nexus s but my evo4g did it to. The nexus is worse though. Sometimes its fine but uaually it isnt.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Nexus 4 running stock 4.2.1 (rooted) and here is my issue with the gesture typing and predictive text. Anytime I try to use a word that google apparently believes is not appropriate. I have to stop and and type it out. Mind you that spell check does not think it's a misspelled word so there is no option to add it to the User Dictionary. It just will not show up as an option for either predictive text or gesture typing. Obviously these words have somehow been identified in google's stock dictionary so that they are not part of the pool of suggested words - probably along the lines of how the auto-complete of google searches are now censored.
It's incredibly annoying and I don't like the fact that google is dictating what standard English words can and cannot be part of gesture typing. One thought I had was that the stock dictionary probably has those words marked with a simple boolean flag, so how to access the dictionary and reset that flag, the problem would be solved.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a sprint galaxy s3 and I'm having issues with words with friends. anytime i have a move to play, it displays it as an ongoing notification in the drop down box. i have never had issues until i updated to jellybean. it is getting annoying because i cant clear it and i notice a huge drain on my battery.
the weird thing about this is that my wife has the same phone with the same version of WWF and updated to jellybean the same way, but her notifications are not ongoing and can be cleared. there is no way to change this in the application manager in device settings or physical settings with WWF. all i can do is turn the notifications on or off. i have cleared data, force stopped it, uninstalled it, installed previous versions, and even rooted my s3 and am running synergy rom, but still no luck.
Any way to delete a word out of your personal dictionary that came with the phone? I want to delete a name, because my wife spells her name differently. So every time I use speech to text, it spells her name incorrectly.

So I downloaded the Google Keyboard 2.0 from AndroidPolice [URL] ..... and noticed a problem:
When I'm typing, and I mistype, instead of correcting to the most likely word like it did in the old blue version, now it autocorrects to whatever I mistyped but in all CAPS. So, if I'm typing "that" and instead I type "thay" it will autocorrect to "THAY." This is extremely obnoxious.
Recently I started using gesture typing and I prefer it over swype and any third party keyboard I've tried.
Problem is, that I can only get it to work in languages that aren't my native tongue (which is dutch).
But I wouldn't mind using the English dictionary if only I didn't have to add every non-English word I use to the dictionary manually.
So my question is: Any way to make android automatically add every word I type to the dictionary? So that it can be used in gesture typing from then on?
After downloading and installing multiple Fifa 2012 Apks. Every time i start the app it comes up with block letters so i cant read anything. It worked 3 weeks ago. Im not sure what has changed since then. Im running ICS.
View 7 Replies View Relatedwhy my S4 is deleting all my contacts from it. I have my contacts synced with my gmail contacts and this has been the case for years. I had a Samsung Infuse before this and have never had a problem. I've had the S4 for about 3 weeks now and this hasn't happened until yesterday. And since yesterday it has happened 3x's. At first I thought it was a Trulia app (realestate app) that I was using to try to call some realtors. I'm not sure if it was a coincidence but the first 2 times I was on the app and my contacts disappeared. How I recovered them was through the contacts recovery feature on Gmail. I would be SOL if I were out and needed to call someone on my contacts list immediately and without access to my laptop.

View 30 Replies View RelatedWhen i use the compact keyboard, or T9 (not qwerty)..when I type OK, it always defaults to PM and i have to click OK, which is second on the list. Also, when i type home, it always defaults to GOOD, and i have to manually click home, is there a way that it can learn which words use most so that i wont have to constantly pick those words? it would speed up my typing by 150% if it just used the words i used most.

Now i have a HTC Hero and can't find any way of adding words to the phone keypad T9 dictionary. I used to start a word, then click the drop down arrow, then press "add word", but it appears that this option is non-existent on the Hero. Is this because i was using the "Chinese imput" input option or have they just moved this on the Hero.

I like the auto correct of the evo, however the suggested words that pop up really distract me and slow me down. When I shut this option off, though, I can't seem to find any way to spell check or auto correct any words in texts, etc. Is there a way to keep the auto correct feature, but hide all the suggestions?

If i was texting along and came to a word that wasn't in the dictionary, I could just long press and then select "add to dictionary".
