Htc rhyme is not booting up,when i press power Botton it only gives seven vibration and indicator light blinks,thn nothing happens,i have already tried hard/factory reset using volume down botton but nothing changed,also i never rooted my phone,its on orignal frmware.what to do ?

I installed an RUU with an update utility which fixed a WiFi problem I was having. Everything looked good so I immediately tried rooting with zergrush which seemed to work until my first re-boot. Now the phone is stuck in a boot-loop.
I have two utilities for RUU versions. I've flashed both of them at least three times each but its the result is the same every time. The phone boots normally the first time, then goes into loop on the next restart.
One issue that I noticed that when I re-lock the bootloader in fastboot, I get an error message. It goes something like...
(BOOTLOADER) Lock Successfully....
FAILED (unknown error)
However, when I go back to bootloader, it says **** RELOCKED **** at the top. Maybe whatever is causing the "unknown error" is also interfering with the re-lock procedure. It may not be truly re-locked.
I really just want to get this phone back to stock condition so that it works like it should.
I need to get RUU for my fone type.I tried all RUU who are posted in htcdev.com - noone works.

I've been looking for a custom recovery for my HTC Rhyme (Bliss) and I've tried EVERYTHING!
Clockworkmod recovery, 4ExtRecover, Amon Ra Recovery, etc. There is no option in ROM Manager Pro and there are no custom ROMS for my phone. Even if there was a ROM for my phone, I can't flash any ROMS!!! So, how to build a recovery.
I've been trying to root my wife's HTC Rhyme and in my efforts, something hosed the WiFi. All I get is "ERROR" under WiFi in the wireless network settings menu. This happened to me once or twice on my incredible and a kernel re-flash fixed it. I really want to root it so that she can have the benefit of being able to completely backup everything. I've tried ZergRush, TocoRoot, SuperTool, OneClick, SuperOneClick... none of it worked. The only thing that I've been able to do successfully is unlock/re-lock the bootloader.
Is it possible to extract the ROM and/or all critical system files from a stock rooted phone and use them to restore another phone that is malfunctioning?
I have HTC Rhyme and i installed custom rom on it and now when i want to go to stock rom i can't because i haven't done backup.
When i try to install with RUU it fails.
Any way getting to stock rom or installing custom rom that is okay?

I have set up my new htc one as my remote control for my tv but each time I turn up the volume or change the channel the phone vibrates ? I have turned off vibrate functions for typing and through keyboard and languages. Is there a way to disable vibration as a remote ( did not see it in settings of the tv app ) to save battery life?
After discussion with htc directly this is not possible to turn off vibration as a remote control
My device is Galaxy Y duos lite, and I have installed LUNUX OS V1.6i and I did not know to disable the vibration feed back for softkey buttons.
View 8 Replies View RelatedMy aTrackDogSD tells me 14 apps have newer versions out but when It directs me to the appropriate market page for the app it just shows "open" "uninstall" NOT update. Where as it should prompt to update I have auto update enabled and the version in the market is newer than the version of my app. SO that meens I would have to uninstall each app then reinstall to acquire the newest version correct?

The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected.". I just rooted the phone about a week ago and figured I would change the ROM. Also tried unblocking the files but got nowhere. Also tried other ROMs, nothing is working. But I can transfer files to and from my SD card with no error.

Old apps would update fine. I searched XDA and found that turning Google Sync Off and restarting the phone solved it. It worked once or twice, but the problem kept coming back.
Then read another thread that said go to All Apps > Play Store >Uninstall Updates and Clear Data. I did this, and now when I start Play Store, it permenantly gives me 'Server Error', with a Retry Button below it.I have Titanium Backup Pro, so tried restoring an older version, tried Freezing and Unfreezing the App, still not working.

Has anyone found a way to fix the weak vibrations on the Incredible? I can barely feel my phone go off in my pocket, let alone hear/feel it while it's sitting half a foot away from me on a desk. I don't really miss my Black Berry too much, but this is one big thing that I do miss.

So I end up missing the message until I physically take the phone out and look to see if I have any messages. My Dare that I just upgraded from sent out a vibration every couple of minutes until I checked the phone and dismissed the notifications. Would love to find out if this is possible with the DI.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIm here because of my problem with SGA 2.Few days ago I bought ACE 2 and I found few problems with "external_sd".So the problems are
1. When I try to create folder it gives me error "Creation failed"
2. When trying to move folder from internal memory to external sd it gives me error like "Moving failed", while copying goes fine.
3. I can move/copy any file to sd card, but sometimes those files got corrupted, gives me error about memory when trying to open pictures, same problem when saved camera saved photo to sd card. Even getting error when trying to play video.
APK files got corrupted too.
4. When I have moved apps to sd card some while apps work great, but after some time cant launch apps because it gives me error about that app doesnt exist.
I tried formatting sd card with pc and android.
Factory reset.
Repartition to same firmware with Odin.
Wipe cache, wipe data.
I dunno what causes those error, bugs, glitches. Is it phone or android sytem?
Tried many sd card and always got same errors. But when I mounted mine sd card to another phone it worked perfect.
I love the Droid so far but have a couple issues with vibrate. When I recieve a notification I have it set to vibrate but it only vibrates with a couple quick pulses. This may not be enough vibration for me to notice at times while its in my pocket. Is there away to adjust the frequency of vibrations?

I miss more calls because of this than any other reason. A co-worker has the Moto Droid and that thing will vibrate so hard the phone will move across the desk. My phone is HTC EVO 3D, and it's bricking after the ICS update from provider. It hangs on the HTC logo. I read numerous post about flashing it with update or rom, but it's now S-ON and when I try to flash from SD card in recovery it gives me :

As far as I know I have to get it to S-OFF before I can use recovery to flash it, but I tried revolutionary and seems like it require the phone in a working state to function. Currently when I run revolutionary with usb connected on HBOOT-1.49.0008 menu revolutionary won't connect. I don't have CWM either and I don't know how to get it onto the phone without Market Place and S-ON.
Is there anyway to get it to S-OFF so I can move forward to fix my phone with any working rom? Fastboot is connecting no problem (at HBOOT menu) but I don't know if it allows me to flash or turn it to S-OFF.
I have samsung galaxy ace s 5830. I had tried to flash cyanogenmod from recovery mode. I downloaded cm-7.2.0-cooper.zip file. and selected the same in recovery mode. But after successfully installation when I am booting the phone only A N D R O I D letters appears on my screen and my phone does nothing after that. I have also tried removing the battery 2/ 3 times.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a HTC Desire V running stock android 4.0.4 ICS. I had not rooted my device or flashed any ROM or any custom recovery or what not. Now, the issue. It all began a month ago when my phone started rebooting itself at frequent intervals, even when I was not using it. At first, it would reboot every 10-12 hours and that did not bother me, so I ignored it. After some time the intervals shortened and the phone used to reboot every 5 hours or so. I tried removing the external sd card, but that did not solve the problem. Then, after some days, it became more intense and the phone started rebooting every hour. At last, 2 days ago, it just turned off and now it is refusing to turn on. Nothing at all happens when I hold the power button or try to charge it. Nothing appears on the screen. I tried removing and reinserting my battery after some time, I tried removing both sim cards(the memory card was already removed) but to no avail.
