I tried everything to add arabic support to a Galaxy Ace Plus GT-S7500, note that arabic works and the letters are arranged in the correct order, they are just not connected.
What i tried,
1) replace the font, the font changed but still the same problem
2) attempt to replace framework folder of an arabic supported stock , an Egyptian Version, it should have arabic support, using the same method as installing a custom rom, using a CWM and a zip with a script to extract those files to the correct location, but i got bootloops.
3) I tried to replace the entire system folder with system folder of the Egyptian Stock ROM, same problem, bootloops.
4) Finally i tried to replace system.img.ext4 from stock firmware with the Egyptian system.img.ext4 and install it through odin3, but it would complete.
And now im out of options, unfortunately this phone has no dedicated forum i could find nor many custom roms, not that i want them as this isn't my phone and i'd like to keep it the same as it as.
i want put arabic language read and write on my nexus one, i have search but the link and procedure is not clear for a beginner like me... need step by step procedure, device already 2/3/6 gingerbread
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have lg su760 the Korean version and I wanted to install a rom which has working Arabic language.i followed the guides but I couldn't get the omap drivers to work because I don't have the lg original usb cable,but mine works well with adb.i rooted it using super click and installed cwm.when I installed the rom ,it didn't boot again but got stuck at the lg logo.,then I found out that I had to flash xloader and boot.img.now I can boot to cwm but cannot mount usb and it doesn't read sd cardsas it gives me an error.

I downloaded something called "Arabic Android" and after flashing it, the Hero hanged in the boot screen and I had to spend over 3 hours to get back as no re-flashing or Nandroid restoring worked. Anyway, if there is a trusted way to add the Ararbic support, I would be more than grateful to have it as many of my friends send me Arabic SMS, emails, tweets and Facebook messages.

I installed an RUU with an update utility which fixed a WiFi problem I was having. Everything looked good so I immediately tried rooting with zergrush which seemed to work until my first re-boot. Now the phone is stuck in a boot-loop.
I have two utilities for RUU versions. I've flashed both of them at least three times each but its the result is the same every time. The phone boots normally the first time, then goes into loop on the next restart.
One issue that I noticed that when I re-lock the bootloader in fastboot, I get an error message. It goes something like...
(BOOTLOADER) Lock Successfully....
FAILED (unknown error)
However, when I go back to bootloader, it says **** RELOCKED **** at the top. Maybe whatever is causing the "unknown error" is also interfering with the re-lock procedure. It may not be truly re-locked.
I really just want to get this phone back to stock condition so that it works like it should.
I need to get RUU for my fone type.I tried all RUU who are posted in htcdev.com - noone works.

I've been looking for a custom recovery for my HTC Rhyme (Bliss) and I've tried EVERYTHING!
Clockworkmod recovery, 4ExtRecover, Amon Ra Recovery, etc. There is no option in ROM Manager Pro and there are no custom ROMS for my phone. Even if there was a ROM for my phone, I can't flash any ROMS!!! So, how to build a recovery.
I've been trying to root my wife's HTC Rhyme and in my efforts, something hosed the WiFi. All I get is "ERROR" under WiFi in the wireless network settings menu. This happened to me once or twice on my incredible and a kernel re-flash fixed it. I really want to root it so that she can have the benefit of being able to completely backup everything. I've tried ZergRush, TocoRoot, SuperTool, OneClick, SuperOneClick... none of it worked. The only thing that I've been able to do successfully is unlock/re-lock the bootloader.
Is it possible to extract the ROM and/or all critical system files from a stock rooted phone and use them to restore another phone that is malfunctioning?
I have HTC Rhyme and i installed custom rom on it and now when i want to go to stock rom i can't because i haven't done backup.
When i try to install with RUU it fails.
Any way getting to stock rom or installing custom rom that is okay?
Htc rhyme is not booting up,when i press power Botton it only gives seven vibration and indicator light blinks,thn nothing happens,i have already tried hard/factory reset using volume down botton but nothing changed,also i never rooted my phone,its on orignal frmware.what to do ?
