I have a htc Legend with cm7 and the included ADW.Launcher. When I apply a theme, the notification bar doesn't get themed. It wasn't always like this. I'm guessing this is maybe some sort of permissions issue.

View 1 Replies View RelatedNotification bar doesn't "stick" every time they pull it down? It was a little bouncy in 4.1 but stayed down. Since the 4.2 update, it seems to roll itself back up unless I'm very careful about my swiping motion. Seems quite a bit touchier than before. Granted, we know they messed with that code to add the Quick Actions, so I think it might be a result of the update.

I want to ask if there's any app that can let me put widgets in the notification drawer.I'd love to have there widgets like weather,calendar and so on because my screens are filled up with them and they take too much space,so having them in one single place would be better.By widgets I don't mean "toggle widgets",I mean widgets installed from the market.I'm currently running CM9.
View 7 Replies View Relatedwhen I plugged in my HTC Legend as normal into my Macbook Pro, the HTC Legend displays the charge LED, but not the sign in the notification. However, the USB Debugger sign is there. I look on my mac and can not find my HTC Legend anywhere. What's wrong? I've connected it to the same Macbook over 50 times, and it works all fine. I tried plugging back, hoping the USB cable was faulty, and still the same thing!

View 3 Replies View RelatedTried to set an alarm on the default clock app on the Legend. To my surprise, it never went off when it was supposed to. When I tested it I was quite shocked to find that the built-in/default sounds wouldn't play. When it put I enabled the vibrate checkbox, it began to vibrate at the set time but there was no sound. So I downloaded an alarm app from the droid marketplace and it worked fine. Even the default Legend sounds were working in the app. When I went back to the built-in alarm, the sounds started playing normally. Not sure what could've caused this. Could it have something to do with the task-killer?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI've only just noticed an issue that after disconnecting from wifi my phone doesn't automatically go back to 3G/2G.
I have to turn the wifi back on and when it can't find one only then does it decide to connect to 3G/2G.
Didn't have this issue before and I'm thinking the latest update (1.31.405.5) has something to do with it.
Anybody else having similar issues?
BTW I'm on the vodafone UK network.
Is there anyway to get the details of a particular notification, specifically email, in the notification bar.
For example, if I receive one email and pull down the notification bar it will show the sender and the subject, however, if I have more than one email waiting it will just show my account name and the number of emails.
So when I get texts, gmail, completed app downloads, etc I get notification icons at the top as usual. When I slide the notification bar down to reveal the nofications and click on an item, the notification screen doesn't hide back to the top of my phone -- it just stays open. I either have to hide it manually or I have to hit the back button, which sometimes exits the app I was trying to open. 2.1 never did this for me, it always hid when choosing an item. Anyone have a solution to this? I've done a factory reset after 2.2 btw. I've also searched support to see if there was a similar problem, no similar threads.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI've had my Samsung galaxy s4 for a while, and I've never had a problem. But now, if I get a new text message, it doesn't ring or put the envelope in my notification bar. The only way to know is to go into my messages and see the new messages. I've resetted my messaging settings, but it still doesn't tell me that I have a text message. Other apps like Snapchat and Facebook notifications work.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI had reception issues on my Legend so vodafone sent me a new (well, pre-owned/refurbished) one today. I haven't had it long enough to test the reception issues but I am unable to bring the notification area at the top of the screen down by swiping my finger. I can click 'menu>notifications' from the homescreen and that brings it up but I can't swipe it down - most odd. Although I have seen it come down about 30 seconds after I swipe it on occasion. This was the case with the old firmware and still is with the new. I've done soft and hard resets and it's still the case. Everything else on the phone works perfectly as far as I can see.

View 2 Replies View RelatedOn Aug 10, 2010 I purchased an unlocked HTC Legend (A6365 - HSPA 850/1900/2100 Mhz). The phone operated wonderfully until Sep 8, 2010. At that time, the Notification bar couldn't be "pulled-down" anymore. Additionally, without rhyme or reason, when I touch the screen, the notification panel will open randomly. This renders the phone useless since every time I touch the screen, the notification panels opens. I tried a softboot and a factory reset. Neither action resolved the issue. I contacted HTC USA support and they suggested clearing the calendar data and vigorously rubbing my hands together and then touch the screen whenever the issue occurred. No success. This issue occurs whether the SIM card is installed or not. I can safely say that no new applications were installed within 48 hours of the issue starting.

Regrettably, none of these threads have any answers. HTC support then recommended for me to contact HTC Return Merchandise Authorization & Repair Center. This group (in the USA) cannot accept the phone for troubleshooting because this phone is not available in the USA. Based on the behavior thus far, I suspect this is an issue with the firmware becoming unstable. The phone hasn't been exposed to any drastic environmental changes (heat, cold, excessive dust, etc).

By know, HTC should have received multiple complains of this issue and I hope they have a solution for it. The options of the phone are great, reception is wonderful and performance is superb (except for this issue).
I recently downloaded the playstation app. I decompiled, changed the background images to my liking and recompiled. Everything was fine as far as decompiling and recompiling. At first the app wouldn't install. So I went back and during the recompilation process I selected the option to retain original application signature. Now the apk installs, but the application will not open.

It's now version 1.32.161.4 and the root guide at 24/May r4 - HTC Legend rooting guide - Now with 1.31.x - Android @ MoDaCo says 1.31 and below is there any way to downgrade the Legend to what it was before? I think it was 1.21 or 1.23 not sure.

The CMsettings apk is included in the rom, i can go through the CMsettings by making shortcuts on the homescreen for it. BUT can I include it as an individual app in the app drawer so it becomes easier to access ??
If not then is it possible to add it to the settings apk ?

Had my Razr HD for about 1 1/2 weeks. Moved to Nova launcher a week ago. Love it. Posted about built in widgets vs NOVA, but this is about a function within NOVA. How to set up 'Drawers' or their relationship to folders and tabs. I'm assuming a Drawer is similar to a folder in that it is a collection of apps, bookmarks and widgets. But then what is a folder in NOVA-speak? Tabs? Where do they fit in? And I can't figure out how to set up a Drawer.
