General :: Link2SD Installed But Still Get Low Internal Memory?
Jan 7, 2012I have a Acer Liquid Metal on 2.3.6. I have a custom ROM T&L. It came preinstalled with Link2SD. I like to try lots of apps and this problem seems to be haunting me. I reset my phone on the 26th Dec as it was so annoying. I think I have set up Link2SD correctly. I have a 4gb SD with 1gb as ext2.
If I have Link2SD, why do I still have a problem with low internal storage?? I have had to remove some app's but the internal storage always gets lower.
Have I set Link2SD up correctly?

Nov 19, 2013I'm on a family plan with my wife and 13yr old son. We purchased a Galaxy S4 for our son as a Birthday present in October. However, as of recent his grades have taken a dive. We notice he eats, sleeps and breathes on the phone. He primarily uses it for surfing the net, instagram or youtube. We were thinking of grounding him and removing his phone but we need him to have his phone as a point of contact. However, is there anyway to stop his data usage. I realize there is a setting on the phone to disable data usage but it is fairly easy to re-enable it.
Is there anyway to lock or password protect the phones settings or data usage?
I tried googling but the results kept yielding information relative to the "lock screen" which isnt what im looking for.

May 13, 2010I am getting a Desire next week. How many apps you can install on the internal memory without 'rooting' it? I'll probably install a lot of apps when I get mine next wednesday (I already have made a list of over 30!) and I would really like to avoid rooting it as it will probably void the warranty and I am not sure I could do it anyway - even after reading the step by step guide a few times over. How many apps have you all managed to fit in before getting the memory low message that some have reported?

Jul 28, 2010Installed the new leaked froyo and now my camera does not work. Both Pic and video app come up but the screen is black. Also my internal 8gb of storage says "Unavailable". I tried formatting the storage a few times and reboot each time and nothing.
I had root my Dinc the old way so I unrooted back to stock, installed the first OTA, then rooted using the Unprovoked tool then installed the 2.2 zip file. Every step went exactly as the videos showed. Can anyone help me?

General :: Samsung Galaxy S2 Power Lock Button Not Showing Network Data On / Off Toggle
Feb 10, 2013I was searching online to see how to make a shortcut to toggle the 3G connection on and off without having to sift through multiple menus. I came across the method of having a long press on the power lock button to pull up the menu but mine does not show the network data on/off option and never has. It only shows
* Silent mode
* Airplane mode
* Power off
* Restart
Nothing else. Is there a way I can make a shortcut or some other way to ADD the network data on/off on this pull up menu from the power lock button? By the way why would my phone not have this option from the start when the phone came with Gingerbread and was updated to ICS 4.0.4? I have Sprint so they call this the Epic 4G Touch, so not sure if it was Sprint that buggered this from the other SGS2s that have this feature or not.

Jun 30, 2010A couple days ago I manually installed froyo for Rogers network.It went fine.however the next day I lost my data.I can't get it back no matter what I do.Can anyone help me get it back?Or know how?I checked my APN settings a million times,I called Rogers and they refreshed my network but still not working. If I reboot my phone, I get the 3g symbol for about 2 seconds then it goes away and that's it.Someone please help me if you can!

There is a white bar at the bottom. Mine says:
Avail: 10MB + 0.00B in 5 Other:0.00B in 6
(Those numbers have been different, obviously at different times. The above numbers are after killing the still-running Music, Listen, and AK Notebook processes. No other "non-essential" proceses were running. )
But what do they mean?
How does that correlate to Settings -> SD card & phone storage which tells me Available space is 86 MB?
