With BlackBerry there were several pre-programmed phrases that could be entered by typing a couple of letters. For example "ld" would enter the date in the specified long date format. The user could add to the dictionary just about anything they wanted.

I want to be able to set up a task to begin on Monday 2/10/14 and run through Friday 2/14/14. I have tried Todoist, Wunderlist, any.do, TickTick and maybe another I can't think of and none of them do this. I would like something that is as full featured as the ones I tried, but with the simple function of an end date.

Oct 15, 2013I have a Samsung centura. If I let the battery get too low the phone defaults back two hours. Today all of the sudden it was set 6 hours ahead... FB says my current posts were yesterday and the responses are tomorrow. Confusing. My usual fix of turning off and back on the automatic date and time has no effect. According to my settings I am set tothe eastern us time zone which I am. I manually changed the settings but that seems to be a temporary fix. What am I doing wrong?

Oct 31, 2012I got my GS3 yesterday, and i am trying to move all the pictures (and videos) from my skyrocket over to it. on the skyrocket i had them stored on the internal sd card, and i want to do the same on the gs3. i have tried numerous things so far such as moving them to the computer then to the new device, as wel as copying them to the external sd, putting that in the gs3 and copying them to the internal sd from there. my problem every time is that whatever i do, changes the date of the pictures on the new phone to all say the time that they were copied, rather then when they were actually taken and it puts all the videos before the pictures; basically my whole gallery is just out of whack.

May 13, 2014 I just got a Nexus 5 and spent the whole of the afternoon trying to migrate my photos and videos from my GNex to the 5. I managed to move everything over, but here is where things went wrong
The metadata displays the time of the file transfer, instead of the original time/date the photo was taken. I'm OCD and a stickler for getting my files in order, so having all my pics/vids in the Gallery app display in the wrong order is really bugging me.
Initially I used My Backup Pro to move the files over, then deleted everything and transferred them from GNex -> Macbook -> Nexus 5 via Android File Transfer. Files were transferred fine, but the time/date stamp is still wrong.
