edit date in notification header from one line into two line?I want the day on top and date on the bottom of day.
I've googling, but no answer for my problem.

I have the date in status bar and work fine (see bellow). Done by edited my systemui.apk by my self (decompile, edited, recompile�). Now, also in modify systemui, I want to remove header in notification area (pink cercle in screenshot bellow). With resize or delete the header. I need to know what values to modify in systemui..

Is there any way to enable the notification bar to display the email header (sender, subject, date/time) of the latest email received, as well as the number of new emails in the notification tray?
I am coming from a Pre, which had a very nice notification system. The new email notification would show the sender, subject, and number of new emails. You could then click to either go to the mailbox, or directly to the latest new email shown at your discretion.
I have set up both GMail through the GMail app, and an Exchange server through the Mail app, but the only notification I get is "New email" without specifics. Also, clicking won't bring me directly to the new email, but to the Inbox.
I can't get my phone to show full date on notification bar.
I have rooted my phone with CWM Rom.
Is there any way to make font size smaller to show entire date on the notification. I really struggling to access date when needed. Just looking for a customising options to shink font size of notification bar.
I have touched on this question here, where Christopher gave an answer to this, but I dont really get it so I thought its time to make it a real question, not just a "follow up" =)
As it stands, the application Im writing has 4 different screens:
1. Screen 1 - list of nodes (main screen)
2. Screen 2 - options menu, tableLayout with buttons
3. Screen 3 - navigation
4. Screen 4 - text details on version etc
These screens can be navigated to/from using a "header" View that is placed on top. the header then has 4 different buttons:

The header is just an XML-file (header.xml) with a few buttons. That header.xml is the included in the Layouts using the include-markup. For example, the main.xml has the line:
<include layout="@layout/header"></include>
The header show up alright, but the question is - what is the correct approach to attach OnClickListeners for the buttons in the header?
Christopher pointed out that you could create an Activity class and do the hooks there, like this:

First, I cant make it work since the method setupHeaderButtons isnt accessible from FirstActivity.
Secondly, is this the right way to go at it?
Anyway to add the date in the notification bar permanently without tapping it?

It's the one that's telling you that there's new updates for you contacts/facebook friends. But, this notification is extremely slow so I see that theres updates on contacts that I saw in the news feed hours ago. Then they got creative with the ticker display on the Continuum and other phones. All the phones had the nice, shiny but plasticy look but I'm okay with it. First I tried to cp the *.apk from /sdcard/backups/apps to /system/app (after rw mounting the file system of course)
I did successfully move it to /system/app but the *apk was not "installed"
then I rm it and tried:
install /sdcard/backups/appa/<package>.apk /system/app
and it copied the *apk to /system/app but still was not "installed"

My goal is to figure out how to use adb command line and also I want to install an app as if it were a pre-installed app. For example pre-installed apps don't show up as a removable app and stay installed after a factory reset.
my problem is that when i get to the date and time page in settings, it is shown that i can only check the time format and date format, i cannot do anything about set date.

I have been looking for a good task list app that has the seemingly basic feature of an end date for recurring tasks. I want to be able to set up a task to begin on Monday 2/10/14 and run through Friday 2/14/14. I have tried Todoist, Wunderlist, any.do, TickTick and maybe another I can't think of and none of them do this. I would like something that is as full featured as the ones I tried, but with the simple function of an end date.
