Some android application to draw a natal chart (radix). I have done some searching over net and I cannot find any application like this. I just need to get astrological wheel from date, time and place of birth.

With BlackBerry there were several pre-programmed phrases that could be entered by typing a couple of letters. For example "ld" would enter the date in the specified long date format. The user could add to the dictionary just about anything they wanted.
Any Android app that will do the same thing?
Simple app, for rooted, to set the date and time? Something similar to the the option you normally find in the Settings.

I can't bring up anything other than the option to use 24-hour setting. Is this normal or is it because I have a pay-as-you go phone?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Samsung centura. If I let the battery get too low the phone defaults back two hours. Today all of the sudden it was set 6 hours ahead... FB says my current posts were yesterday and the responses are tomorrow. Confusing. My usual fix of turning off and back on the automatic date and time has no effect. According to my settings I am set tothe eastern us time zone which I am. I manually changed the settings but that seems to be a temporary fix. What am I doing wrong?

After activating the phone, it displayed the correct date and time for my time zone, so I didn't mess around with settings to reset the time, as I would with any other device.
However, I've noticed that the time changes to exactly an hour ahead, before changing itself back several minutes later.
I went to settings > date and time, but 24 hour time and selecting a date format are the only options listed.
I prefer to leave mobile data off when I am at home and can use the wi-fi. Is it necessary to have mobile data turned on, so the phone can receive the time from a cell tower, or is there a way I can set an internal clock?
I need to change the time on my LG Optimus M (Metro PCS) to compensate for the day light saving. however I can't find from where should I do it, I don't see anything else other than the time and date format under Date and time settings. I read about a Client NTP which solves the problem, however your phone needs to be rooted, is it safe to root them and run the Client NTP?Also is there any other ways to change the time?

I am getting a date/time string from web in the format of "yyyy/mm/dd'T'HH:MM:SS'Z'" and it is in UTC. Now i have to identify the current time zone of device and then convert this time to my local time. (FYI, Currently, UTC time is 10:25 AM, in india current time is 3:55 PM)
View 1 Replies View Related I just got a Nexus 5 and spent the whole of the afternoon trying to migrate my photos and videos from my GNex to the 5. I managed to move everything over, but here is where things went wrong
The metadata displays the time of the file transfer, instead of the original time/date the photo was taken. I'm OCD and a stickler for getting my files in order, so having all my pics/vids in the Gallery app display in the wrong order is really bugging me.
Initially I used My Backup Pro to move the files over, then deleted everything and transferred them from GNex -> Macbook -> Nexus 5 via Android File Transfer. Files were transferred fine, but the time/date stamp is still wrong.
Is there any android widget that enable to pick the date and the time at the same time ? I already use the basic date picker and date picker:

The script is easy but I don't know how to automate it. I'm running 4.2.2 on an HTC One X+. I'm rooted and have busybox 1.22.1 installed.
The fstrim script is as follows:
date >> /sdcard/fstrim.log
fstrim -v /data >> /sdcard/fstrim.log
fstrim -v /cache >> /sdcard/fstrim.log
it is located in /data/local/fstrim.sh
I switched recently from a black berry to an Android 2.3 powered device - Samsung Stratosphere on Verizon.
Email invite messages from Outlook for meetings do not show the calendar detail. Specifically, I can not see the date and time of the meeting invitations. I can perform actions to "Accept", "Decline", or Tentative" the meeting invitation. Unfortunately, there isn't any meeting detail so I don't know when the meeting is scheduled.
This is very frustrating and makes the Samsung Stratosphere or possibly the Android platform not fit for corporate environments. If I can not get this to work I will be switching to an iPhone and I will recommend to my entire corporate enterprise that we avoid Android based Smart Devices.
The Black Berry BEZ environment also provided information on meeting conflicts when you are sent a meeting invitation.
Not sure how but I lost the BIG DATE , time, local weather, etc on my main screen. I still have my shortcuts on the lower half of screen, but the top half (where the DATe, etc was) is just open space.

I have a strange problem when parsing a ISO8601 date and time with SimpleDateFormat.
The relevant code is:

For input I'm giving it a string
2010-09-06T15:30:00+02:00
And as a return I get a Date object with date set to 6th of January 2010 with time of 13:30 and timezone of GMT+00:00.
I also tried using "2010-09-06T15:30:00+0200" with same results.
Confusing thing is, that the date set is partially correct, just the month is set wrongly.
The issue is shown on Android 1.6 and Android 2.2.
For the past couple of weeks, I have been having problems with text messages on the Evo.For example, last night, I was sending texts to a friend, who replied back. His message said that it arrived on July 21, 2010 at 955pm.Clearly its not July 21, 2010, and when I sent/received the message, it was 630pm CST.I'm confused what is going on. Went to Sprint to have them look at it, they figured out the phone came from Best buy and wanted nothing to do with it, So, I'm here looking for answers.
