General :: Deleting Movie From Play Movies And TV App?
Sep 9, 2013
how to delete a movie I recently purchased off the play store from the play movies and TV app.. I had also downloaded a short 2 minute sneak peak to a new episode of breaking bad from the play store that got added to my tv shows and I cannot figure out how to delete that either... There's gotta be something I'm missing here.. I used to be able to click the menu icon and remove the movie when it was the old play store

If I rent a movie from Google Play on my Note, can I watch it on my LG LM6700 via DLNA. My TV is DLNA capable, as is my Samsung Blu-Ray player if my Samsung Phone will play nicer with my Samsung Blu-Ray player. I've got an Xbox 360 and a Roku 2 XS as well if either of those are better suited to the task.

Phone: Galaxy Nexus
Android: 4.1.1 JRO03C
Rooted / CWM
Missing apps: Google Play Movies and TV, Magazines, Ears, Books.
Now in the JB some apps come preinstalled. Unfortunately they don't show up in the drawer but when I try to reinstall them, I get the error message that the application already exists. When I go to system/apps, they are listed there. I have market-enabler installed with the market set to the US. I can see all categories and can install the apps through Google Play (browser) on the phone. But I still get the same error message.
Is there a way I can unhide them and use them?

I'm trying to rent or buy movies in play store. I click the price and in the pop-up window it says: The article you bought is not available where your are (it is originally in German). I cannot go on to pay.
I have a S2g with latest German firmware (rootet). Problem is that it works perfectly fine for my wife, who has exactly the same phone+firmware and is in the same network. Why I cannot access the movies? GT-I9100G

where expired downloaded movies from Google Play are stored ?. The reason for asking is that I would like to delete them rather than clogging up my Nexus 7. Perhaps they are automatically deleted as I don't seem to be able to find them on the device.

I have a samsung moment. My sister sends videos from her iphone to my email. I download the attachment, and the video plays on the Moment, but there is no sound.
I've tried a few of the video players on the market and they all play the video, but there's just no sound.

1) If i download a movie file of 700mb, avi, can i just transfer to my microsd or internal memory and play the file flawlessly? I needed to compress file to play on my bold, or it would be extremely choppy. Also, what about a 720p video quality movie? file size 1.4gb, will it be choppy?
2) Is there an app on android market for the android forums? one that will give notifications when replies or messages are sent? i know crackberry had one on the blackberry, but was really just a shortcut to their forums.

In a nut shell, when the app is loaded, it will play a short movie (maybe a few seconds at most @ 12-24fps). I will then have 2 buttons displayed on the screen, and depending on what button is pressed, it I will play another short movie (5-10 seconds). While waiting for the user to make a decision, the movie will be looping.
The movie source is stop-motion photography so it's already chopped up into frames. My question here is if I should use a Frame Animation technique, or if I should use a Movie player for this. All in all perhaps there's less than 100 still frames that make up the stop-motion. I was going to go the Frame Animation route, but I wasn't sure if having so many individual frames would kill the app so I thought I'd post here to see if anyone had any insight.

I use Google Play Music. Over time, I've chosen certain albums to store locally ('pin') from music.google.com on my Android 2.4 phone. Now I wish to clear these out from the phone in the name of space and begin anew.
Without an apparent way to do this on the phone (?), I connected the device to a computer and wiped out the Android music directory's files manually.
Then, when I returned to my phone's Play Music app and attempted to choose new music to pin to the device, Android is re-downloading *all* of the music I had previously chosen to store locally, completely defeating the purpose of this pursuit.
Is there a way to start fresh on the phone without deleting music from URL....? I simply want to download a select few albums to a device from my Play Music account, not everything I have ever selected to pin since my history with the service.

Before the update, I can play m4v file just fine on EVO. However, I tried to play the movies I played before, it won't work now. The files are m4v. I used handbrake to convert them from mkv. " The file type not found" would show up when I tried to play it. I am converting one movie to mp4 now, try to see if it's the file type that prevents me from playing it.
