I recently bought many new movie DVDs (ie, Star Trek, Inglourious Basterds, The Proposal, etc) from Amazon. I'm now wondering how to get these movies to play on my Nexus One. Any help will be appreciated deeply.

I have a droid-x and also have an iPod Touch. Is there a player that will play all my movies? I would hate to have to convert everything. My iPod has MP4 files. Meridian doesnt seem to like them.

View 1 Replies View RelatedBefore the update, I can play m4v file just fine on EVO. However, I tried to play the movies I played before, it won't work now. The files are m4v. I used handbrake to convert them from mkv. " The file type not found" would show up when I tried to play it. I am converting one movie to mp4 now, try to see if it's the file type that prevents me from playing it.
View 4 Replies View RelatedRecently I've been having an issue with Google Play Music where when I play a song, it plays for a second then pauses, so I have to press play to get it going again. This occurs repetitively which means I can't listen to music.
It happens on songs that are being streamed and on songs that are on the device.
Funnily enough, if the song is played through ES file explorer and the little play music popup window comes up, it plays fine.
I've got this issue on both my devices, a tf101 running 4.3 and a nexus 5 with stock 4.4 rooted.
Edit: just remembered, I've also got this issue with MX Player and videos. I can't figure out what's wrong.
Streamed videos played through the gallery video player work fine.
How to use watch movies using Google play on rooted android phones.
1) Download app called ota rootkeeper from the android marketplace.
2) Open app and protect root.
3) Click "temp unroot".
4) When done watching movie go to ota rootkeeper and restore root.
Every time you want to use Google play you must do this.
Anyone else? Have a movie at 1.9GB that plays fine. But 2 movies encoded the same way over 2GB that wont play.

The Captivate will play high bitrate video fine and that is awesome, but it would be silly to expect someone to encode a movie in a high bitrate and only use a stereo track.

how to delete a movie I recently purchased off the play store from the play movies and TV app.. I had also downloaded a short 2 minute sneak peak to a new episode of breaking bad from the play store that got added to my tv shows and I cannot figure out how to delete that either... There's gotta be something I'm missing here.. I used to be able to click the menu icon and remove the movie when it was the old play store

Her account has permission for it under settings, and I can browse for the purchased movies in the app, but they are all non-purchased. Her profile is still showing as tied to my Google account, so purchases should carry over, but alas, no such luck. they don't seem to HAVE a support department.
