Apr 23, 2010That isn't handbrake. I can't use handbrake. I keep getting a weird error with it when I try to compile my movies to mp4. The devs for handbrake basically said they were sorry but it wont work on my system. Anyway, anyone know of a good program I can use to encode for the droid?

Aug 21, 2010how do you play downloaded Blockbuster movies to your tv. I bought the HDMI cable, but it won't see the movie when I go into the BB app to play it. I even tried moving it out of the BB folder to the video folder and that doesn't work either.

Jul 28, 2010so I went to sync my movies using the V Cast Media manager and it told me I could not copy my "digital copy" movies to the phone. Does anyone know how to get them to the phone to play? I can move them over using simple file manager (not the V Cast Media manager), however they still will not play. Anyone else able to get this to work? These are my ligit digital copys of the movie, so I don't know why it will not work.

Aug 1, 2010I'm currently running Bugless Beast V.04 on my Droid1. I just noticed that since I started running the Froyo 2.2 build on my phone that I've lost the ability to play any of my Mp4 movies that I have on my SD card. The movies are formatted for the Droid and worked fine on the stock 2.1 video/ media player. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm wondering if its the ROM or is just a different video player all together with the 2.2 builds so they can use the flash player. Flash works flawlessly and YouTube still works ( at least it loads quicker ) but when I try to play a movie it gives some kind of error code . When I switch to the movie player it says " video cannot be played" ( just like when you tried to play a flash video on 2.1 stock) . Does anyone know if its just because the build of Froyo is not complete and will be fixed when the official OTA is released? If its an oversight by Motorola /Verizon we better keep it quite or they might push the date up again!

I used handbrake to convert them from mkv. " The file type not found" would show up when I tried to play it. I am converting one movie to mp4 now, try to see if it's the file type that prevents me from playing it.

Nov 28, 2010I have a Moto Droid and I have been trying to put movies on it. I have tried several ways and nothing. I have digital copies of a Wanted and Matrix and Toy Story 3 already on my computer. I tried creating a movies file then clickand drag onto my mounted phone the try to watch using Rockplayer but nothing. What am I doing wrong?
