HTC Incredible :: Removing Boot Animation Completely?

Jul 30, 2010

Is it possible to completely remove the boot animation? I'd have to assume the phone would boot faster, and anyway, I don't need all these flashy things and sounds playing when I turn on my phone.

I thought about just removing the zip file thingy whose name I can't remember, but won't that just make it do the default animation?

General :: Nexus 7 Not Charging And Now Completely Dead

Feb 15, 2014

My Nexus 7's (2013) battery was low so I decided to charge it. I plugged it in to a AC adapter and it showed that it was charging. The tablet's battery was decreasing! I decided to turn it off and charge it. I've been trying to fix the tablet for a while. It showed empty battery icon, LED light above the usb port was flickering 5 times. Then it showed no more sign of life. I've tried many things including holding power button for 1 minute, tried different chargers, plugged in a different outlet, used original charger. The tablet is still under warranty but I don't want to go through all the trouble to get a new one. My tablet is not rooted.

General :: Completely Remove App And Leave No Trace?

May 9, 2013

I have an app that when someone downloads it from the Play Store, recognizes the phone and connects to a server (Internet is needed) so every time I open it I have all my data and my "app activity" shown there. So, here's the thing: I want to sell the phone to a friend of mine, but I don't want (neither does he) to reset to factory because he wants a large amount of the apps I have already installed and it is part of the price.

So, I ask you: Is there a way to completely remove-uninstall an app and ALL of its data so that there is no way for the app to have MY data displayed, and basically the app is "reseted' to factory, so that my friend can use from scratch?

I have a droidX with liquid ICS 1.62,
android version 4.0.4,

I have tried every possible method i have found to get wifi tethering working, its to give my nexus 7 wifi on the train. I'm able to tether with bluetooth, but because there's no wifi connection various apps dont "see" the internet and ignore it.

So i need wifi tethering. BUT IT WONT FREAKIN WORK. More specifically, no matter what i try, nothing can see the wifi tethering signal of my phone, its as if nothing is there at all.

It'd tried; Foxfi, PDAnet, wifi tether for root users, barnacle tether...

Google Music:

- Goto Home

Nav: - Macro (it messes all up when Nav is not running, i.e. I've closed manually)

But these two apps (Buzzfeed and Mokriya Craigslist) will not remove. I had them on my wishlist, installed them directly from My Wishlist, and then got tired of them. I uninstalled them, but now the only option for me is to Install them; I cannot remove them from my wishlist.

I tried to see if I could do it on my computer on the GP store, but i cannot. There is simply no box to the right of Install like there is in other apps.
