I have Galaxy Tab 7.7 running ICS version of Android, due to some unwanted reasons, I need to completely brick this tablet, means I want that no one can boot this tablet in either way neither in recovery mode nor in downloading mode.

I just got the v711s tablet directly from china and I tried to flash it with a new firmware but I didn't took the good one. Now the touch screen doesn't work and I'm unable to reflash it to an other firmware.Also the boot manager is not responsive so no chance on this side (also I don't have volume button on the tablet).
What should be my next step? Is a hard reset via SD card available ? Is there a way to get boot manager working ?

It doesn't go to recovery mode anymore now!!!
First I tried to install custom Rom to root it with Odin, it did seem fine with "green pass" but didn't actually install any recovery mode (there wasn't any install option in recovery mode, there were only update options), nothing happened to phone at all and it worked normal.
Second i wiped the phone and cache and I download the firmware from Samsung website.
and after try to install, it failed in Odin:

I'm not sure but I think it was a wrong firmware, because I bought my phone online (kogan.com i think it is in Hongkong) and I downloaded the Australia Vodafone firmware (as I'm using Vodafone sim card).
I should mention that phone doesn't go to recovery mode, failed in Odin, Kies can not fix it! the drivers all are up to date and no Antivirus runs in my PC.
I tried the MAK-DROID rom (thread) and it works great, but MAK-DROID didn't have the language pt-br (portuguese from Brazil). So I found the Aspire Rom (thread) and I give a try... and thats was a bad idea.
Now my fone even boot. It freezes on "GT-S5300 SAMSUNG" and vibrate a several times.
So, I boot on recovery and apply CWM again. On CWM I applied the MAK-DROID again, but didn't work.
After that I tried restore the my stock backup done with CWM. But even this didn't work. I received a message about EXTFS (or something like that) and impossibility of format the /system.
My final thought was try with Odin. So I follow the post #8 from MAK-DROID thread. I downlod the Odin and the S5300XXLF5 firmware. I open Odin and selected on PDA the *.tar.md5 file. But I received:

I still have access to CWM (the update.zip is accessible from recovery).

Every time i do get stuck on the logo of the device. And when i remove battery it gets back to the normal recovery mode. What shall i do now the device is bricked and i cannot get it back.

View 7 Replies View RelatedYes you read it right I want to know how I can brick my phone or make it stop working completely. Now let me explain the reason why. I had installed an app called "Launcher Pro". Later I uninstalled it and that is when all hell broke lose. Basically when ever I would swipe my screen to unlock the phone, I would get constant error messages that would reappear the moment I would close them, and to make matters worse it would lock out the rest of the screen so I can not click any thing else (just like in windows vista and windows 7 when a UAC message pops up). This is further complicated by the fact that I have a Bell Canada Samsung Galaxy Phone, which does not have the 3 button recovery ability but that is not the end of my problems. I got this phone at a store called Best Buy and got their warranty. Now one of the things that voids the warranty is unlocking the phone, guess what?? My phone is unlocked. So since my phone is not dead, it boots up, the lock screen loads up, the top bar shows u the battery life and the fact it is getting service and can receive calls (but which I can not answer since when it comes to that screen, the screen freezes up with the error messages). So if I take the phone to Best Buy, they are going to pop in a different sim other then bell and when they see that it works, will hand me back my phone and void my warranty. So I need to have the phone in such a condition that they can not check that and yes there can be no physical or water damage either. How do I accomplish this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter testing/installing the popular "GO Launcher EX" my sound is completely gone. Of course I uninstalled that GO Launcher EX asap but it didn't work.
My problems:
- No sound during music, media, alarm etc while the sound volume bars all are maxed
- Every few seconds or when I press something usually a weird "tik tik" sound, it feels like the sound hardware has died or something
- When playing music you hear very low sound like "ZzzZZzzZzzz" like the hardware is not working or sound is not coming out
I tried factory reset and other ROMS but all failed so far

I have installed custom creed v2.0 rom on my android device. Recently i have replaced motherboard of my device. Under Warranty.
I Want To Flash stock rom on my device but i cannot see anything on my device so i am unable to flash my device.
Another problem is that when i enter download mode odin detects my device but when i try to flash the rom it says unable to open com port.
At Present my device is working properly but when i restart my device the problem returns !!!!!!
My phone just get switch off automatically and its not turning on . I did everything like battery out for sometime and put it back again , nothing no any response its completely dead . Battery was fine and it was fully charged as well .

This morning, the screen completely got filled with blue/white/messed up color, and then went completely black. Touchscreen still worked though because I was able to maneuver around the phone right after it was dropped. Screen was not cracked. does the screen has to be replaced as well or i can replace it with smaller parts?

View 8 Replies View RelatedTablet is a GT-P7500 Samsung Galaxy 10.1...Was going to be installing a new ROM on my tablet, problem is I though I had transferred the files onto the old tablet, but I had accidentally transferred them to my new tablet. So I opened up CWM and wiped everything. Then went to install from zip and the files weren't there. So I cant boot back into android to transfer the files. I can't boot into adt either and sammobile new hosting site terafile wont allow me to download any of the original files to flash with odin as it keeps coming up with Wrong IP.
Currently it loads to the splash screen showing Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 and sits there.Any links to a ROM I can flash through ODIN. Or a way to transfer files onto a dead tab?
I was wondering if there's any way to put restrictions on a Samsung galaxy tab such as only being able to use the web browsing ... So i would like to disable the use of the android market etc. For school purposes (dont want my students playing games downloading etc etc).

I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.
