I don't mean 12/24 hr format. I mean HH:mm:ss format. I want my status bar clock to display something like 23:59:59, I want the "seconds counter" included. How do I do this? Are there any app that can do this or I need to modify some system files (SystemUI.apk perhaps)? My phone is xperia mini pro (rooted).

View 6 Replies View RelatedOne of devs from my device had told us that he'll move system and data images from sdcard to SD ext, but actually he left before doing this so now I'm stuck with useless 5gb ext4 partition on my scard. I'd format it and then change partitions if my sdcard wouldn't be filled with over 20GB of various files. Is it possible to change the size of the second partition to about 500 MB and turn it from ext4 to swap without formatting entire sdcard?

I am running Cyanogenmod 10.1.2 for the LG optimus 4x HD (LG-P880) and i would like to change the transparency for the status bar.
I know there are lots of threads for this, but every one ive tried seems to just crash my system UI. I would also like it if you could change the colour by app (i know paranoid android does this however, i have not found a stable build for the 4X.)
I am not very experienced at coding mumble jumble, however i do know how to build APK files etc..

I know that you can permanently hide all notifications of an app via app info, but what I am looking for is something that will allow me to only hide any icon from the status bar, but the notification will still be there when I pull down the notification shade.
I currently use a ROM that has this feature, and I have yet to find it implemented in any other way or through any other ROM. I would love to go back to stock or an AOSP rom and use only Xposed modules, but this is the only thing that is stopping me. This feature is absolutely vital in my opinion in my everyday use.
You can see this feature in the screenshot below. When I long press any notification when I select the Hide status bar apps notification icon, the icon will not show up. As if it either replaces it (which I believe it does with a transparent dot) or just as useful would be to change the priority of the notification to low.
This just amazes me that I can't find anything else that does this. I'm hoping there is some type of xposed module that can replicate this feature, or anything really. If only i could find the code in the source of the rom myself to compile it into stock or something... Nexus 5

I read about a Client NTP which solves the problem, however your phone needs to be rooted, is it safe to root them and run the Client NTP?Also is there any other ways to change the time?
View 6 Replies View RelatedRunning into another issue regarding my S4 here. Before the 4x2 clock widget I had would always be in sync to that of my carrier's time. Now, when I scroll around my phone or go back to check the time or even after unlocking my device, the widget is a good minute or two behind of my actual provider's time. It takes itself about 30 seconds to correct itself, I was just curious if there is anything I can do to fix this issue?

Problem: I have two batteries, default one and Mugen one. Every time I change a battery the phone system time resets.
What I have tried to do: Set "Automatic date & time" and "Automatic time zone" on - No luck. Restar after set on -
Install different NTP server synchronizing app. I am in china, so it could not connect to the server and I get error every time, even after change to chinese NTP server - Still no luck...
Install different GPS synchonizing app, sometimes it work sometimes not and it takes too long to synchronize.
I am currently running Fresh 3.2. I am trying to find out where I can get just the status bar icons, not the full theme. Or a run down on how to change it.

(I think that is amazing btw) Only thing is all of those thread were regarding phones that aren't a Samsung Captivate. Also I am running Cognition 2.2 beta 2 if that makes a difference.

No, that is not what I am after, nor is that what this post is about. This is a question for theme developers... Is there anyone out there that knows how to hide the statusbar clock in FroYo? I've been poking around for the past two days trying to figure this one out on my own, but it's not going as smoothly as I would like it to be.
Most of what I've been reading points to the Services.jar file. (Specifically comandroidserverstatusStatusBarIcon.smali)... but any of the threads I've found mention changing the border. I can't find anything in the StatusBarIcon.smali file that indicates border spacing at all. Am I even on the right track here, or am I looking in completely the wrong place?
