General :: Apps Not Working On Xperia X8

Recently i have installed ICS on my Xperia x8(10W12 ), and so too the android apps, I installed Google Play 4.1.4, i searched for some common apps like temple run 2, OZ, and subway surfers, but i was unable to find those apps. i googled for those apps and downloaded the .apk files, i transferd them via datacable and installed the .apk file on my phone, when i run my apps, i get the msg"Unfortunatly temple run OZ has stopped", is there any way to fix that thing...

I have had my phone for a few months now and it works great but every now and again one of my apps stop working for example: the facebook app tells me an error has occured whilst fetching data. or the com.sonyericsson app that I don't know what it does tells me the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly and tells me to force close. I~s there anything I can do to solve these minor errors.

I recently bought a SE X10 and it was automatically configured with the APN Settings for Vodafone Live! India
Name = Vodafone Live
APN = portalnmms
Proxy = 10.10.1.100
Port = 9401
Server =
MCC = 404
MNC = 20
APN Type = default,supl
I'm able to access internet through my browser, but when connecting through GTALK, GMAIL, Android Market even Opera Mini 5 it says no connection Available.
I had similar problem on my previous phone SEW995 which i resolved it setting the Proxy Server as HTTP (by default its Multiple).
Is there any way i can do the same on the android?

I have installed Jaggyrom 3 on my HTC explorer, sometimes my phone freezes and as per the post in XDA, I have installed cranium kernel 3.
Since then I am unable to move any apps to sd card. Its saying "Unable to move, system error". The only reason I rooted my phone is to install apps I like, if this is not happening then I am in a real loss.
Can I install the jaggyrom 3 with the "Freeze phone".

I have 3 android devices (xperia s, htc one x and a galaxy s3) connected to a wifi network. This is kind of a protected network and there is a firewall involved. Also the devices are getting IP via DHCP. The problem is that i am able to access web site via browser but when i try from the application, its showing i don't have internet connection. There is no proxy configured in this network. There is an IP filtering in the router which filters the IPs starting with a particular series. But the web site and the application which i am trying to use are supposed to use this IP series.

I use Tmobile UK and I got to Amsterdam last night. My whatsapp stopped working and today I rebooted the phone and now all my apps except Chrome and Gmail do not work.
I having a roaming plan with TMobile so I'm not sure why my apps have stopped working. Do I need to enable certain stuff to keep them working?
I recently switched from BB to Samsung Galaxy S3 so I'm still new to Android.

Some apps like location tracking apps on my sons phone does not work all the time when his phones on 2g internet. But on wifi it seems to work all the time. Apps like life360 location tracking apps, remote control apps like androidlost, which uses push messages and also polling services works intermittently. Sometimes it works on 2g internet and sometimes it does not. But on wifi, there's no problem at all.
But strangely messaging apps like viber works continuously on 2g or wifi without any problems.

I am having a problem with my galaxy note 2, jellybean 4.1.2, rooted
After I restart my device, some apps stops working, when I clikc them, it says unfortunately, the app XXX stopped working.. with no report option.Also, some apps that still working, their data just get reset.. like I have never opened them..
I tried a factory reset and flashing new jellybean version (4.1.2) but I am still having this problem.. tell me whats happening? It's like the device is not loading the apps after restart or what exactly?

I have a strange problem after using cm10 for a few weeks. suddenly my home and volume buttons aren't working most of the time. When I want to decrearse/increase volume and press the volume button (no matter if i press it fast again and again or if i wait a few second between pressing) it only goes one step louder every 5 seconds. Also when I want to lower volume. i also cant use cwm recovery cause my home button only works maybe once per hour. Now I have twrp touch recovery.
What i tried:
- wiped everything several times
- flashed gb and ics stock firmwares
- flashed different kernels

I have rooted my phone a couple of times and the last time I did it ran really hot (as hot as 107 degrees) so I did a factory reset and after words it runs fine other than the fact that the lock screen and the home Key dont work anymore.

So I have couple modded games like zenonia 3 and 4 .. when i on 4.1.2 that apk work perfectly.. but then i do fresh install to update to 4.2.2
After update to 4.2.2 i reinstall that modded game..but when i run that apps, its force close..what should i do to make apps working on newer rom?
Rom and kernel stock 4.2.2 and 4.2.1 both crash.. I already tried edit prop and fix permission both fail..

I have a Wildfire S with CM7. I have almost all apps linked to SD including GO Launcher using Link2SD, and I moved cache to SD as well.
When I remove my SD and reinsert it, all of the apps linked or moved stop working and I can't restore them with Titanium Backup
So I have to restore my ROM Backup and use Titanium Backup to restore them, which app I have to put in internal memory so that I don't get this problem ???

I have a problem with front camera doesn't work for me. When i choose to front camera so The screen is black and show me massage: the gallery doesnt work and then show message not connecting ro camera. It doesn't work on all rom.

Recently my isp asked me to upgrade the firmware
Until I updatee my firmware everything was working fine
After the firmware upgrade I am experiencing the following issues:
At the beginning when I conmect to my wifi everything works fine for the first 5 min, all apps work flawlessly, then suddenly my phone only uploads date (up arrow only) but no down arrow n then my apps such as whatsapp, fb messenger, etc do not recieve any data until I goto those apps and stay in there for about a min. Then I get all my whatsapp messages sent about a min ago . But my browser seems fine..and the speed there is good.

All my google applications like Gmail, Maps, Play,Google Plus are working fine in WIFI.But when i try to refresh or update these application thro Airtel 3g,i am getting No Connection Error.

I see threads about apps not working and that it is sluggish since the Froyo update. We have to realize that developers have to update their apps for Froyo. Some people saying third party browsers aren't as smooth. Again they have to update their app for the uniqueness of EVO. We have to realize that the EVO has HTC sense and its tricky to develop around.

I have a motorola droid and the 3D gallery just stopped working for no reason. every time I want to look at my pictures, a window pops up that says the app has stopped working and i have to force close it. A few days after that, my wallpapers stopped working too. I cannot access the wallpaper gallery at all...its just stuck on one of the non-live backgrounds I had a long time ago. Also, some of the other apps screw up sometimes for no reason. like when i want to open text messaging, it takes me to maps.

Whenever I try to connect my Xperia to my pc via USB port nothing happens. The problem started after I updated my phone's software not to 2.1 (as its not available for my phone as yet) but another update that the software said was available. Upon completing the update I then reconnected my phone to the USB port but then my computer said there's no drivers installed for my phone. I've tried letting windows search for drivers but no luck with that. I find this strange when previously everything worked fine and I could browse the files on my memory card, but now all I get is no drivers are available. I've tried searching for drivers on line, but there doesn't seem to be none. Is there any way to solve this problem?

I am a new x10 owner, I have 1 dekstop, 2 laptops, and a playstation3 all connected to my router wirelessly and they all work fine, so the signal strength and availability are definitely out of question. I've tried using different security protocols and they all yield the same result, it cannot successfully obtain an IP address. Occasionally it would work, but most of the time it doesn't.

My phone is Nexus one, Android 2.2
Starting from few days ago, I find that my browser (Both the build in "Browser" and "Dolphin HD") is not working.
When I open these Apps, it shows the App screen. Then I saw it trying to load the website, after a while (1 - 2 seconds), the Apps just terminated and back to the phone's main screen.
If I turn off WIFI and 3G (means makes no connection to outside), both browser Apps can show a "website not available" page without terminate themselves automatically. But then if I keep the browser screen and activate the WIFI/3G again, and try to type a URL and go, the browser terminate again......

I've just updated my nexus one to 2.2. Now all of my (own and some from the market) apps throw exceptions and were closed.
It's weird, in the app I'm developing atm, there it displays only my start page with buttons, but when I tap on one button to fire an intent to another activity my app gets closed with an exception.
Yesterday before the update everything worked fine.
The same thing in my emulator:
I have two devices, one with API level 7 and one with level 8. Level 7 worked fine, but level 8 killed my app :
What is the problem and how can I solve this? I'm desperatly trying to get it working again :

When it comes to smart phones and flashing. I recently got a HTC Evo and had it flashed to be on metro pcs to try and save a little cash on the bill. Well I think I am learning you get what you pay for. I am hoping I can get some tips or tricks from this forum. My phone will not run any apps really. It wont connect to facebook or the app store or google maps and youtube. Basicly all the social apps dont work. However if I connect it to WIFI it will run it them. Is it cause metros data service sucks.
