May 26, 2014I have an LG G2 (D801) running Cloudystock ROM and yesterday my Amazon app stopped showing pictures. Then I noticed the Amazon App Store app wasn't showing any pictures or screenshots either. I tried clearing cache and data and uninstalling both apps, no difference. I also noticed this morning that even going to Amazon.com on Chrome on my phone won't load images there either. I attached a few screenshots to show what's going on. I should also note that before yesterday, both apps worked just fine on this same setup.

May 9, 2012I have a Galaxy Nexus (not rooted), and just recently, I've ran into an issue with updating apps through Amazon's App Store. It's strange, because up to now, I never had this issue with their app store. Anyway, whenever I try to update any of my apps that need updates, the installs fail. The apps don't update, and they're still listed in the "Update" section of the store. I've tried over and over to install them, and they always say the install failed.
Someone suggested going into the settings and clearing the cache/ data for the Amazon App Store app, and I gave this a try, but the problem still occurs.
General :: Android Access To Ubuntu Instance On Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Jan 6, 2013I currently have an AWS instance running Ubuntu 12.04 and use NoMachine NX client to access via FreeNX. I also have the Java in place on the instance and that gives me access from any device with the NX client installed or via a web browser that runs Java JRE.

Unfortunately I cannot find a way for either of those methods that is compatible with Android on my Samsung Galaxy Note 2 (great phablet by the way).
how I can might be able to access my Ubuntu Cloud Desktop on AWS from my Android device? I don't mind rebuilding the instance if there is a good way to do this.

I want to use my iPod as my media player but I'd like to be able to control music from my Nexus (only basic controls).
Is there an app on either device that allows this? I know tsk skipping can be done by some Bluetooth headphones so I'm hoping there's a way to make iOS accept command from my Nexus
General :: How To Get Stock Rom Of Device To Install On Different Device
May 28, 2013I have 3 Galaxy Player 5 ( YP-G70 with 3 capacitive buttons ), only one of the actually have a working rom that i flashed a while ago.
The other two have a different rom that only have the back and menu button working ( the home button doesn't respond )
Is there a way for me to take the Rom and kernel off the working galaxy player so i can install it into the other two ?

Sep 7, 2010What is up with this program? Everytime I open task killer it shows Amazon MP3 as running.I have NEVER used Amazon MP3. Amazon MP3 came with the phone, yet my carrier won't support it ( cough Sprint ), they say call the application provider.I can't get a phone number to Android to give them a piece of my mind.I call Amazon and get sales people that don't want to listen and dump me on anyone they can find and are the wrong people. Why can't I get support? Why can't I uninstall Amazon MP3?I don't want Amazon MP3, not if it is going to run all the time and drain my battery.

Everyone else had iphone's which didn't have the 3.5 connector to play through the chappel's speaker system. On top of that we were kind of in the middle of no where so their 3g signals were pretty spotty. Luckily my verizon android had a perfect signal so I went on to Amazon mp3 and bought the songs I needed and became the default A/V guy for the ceremony.

Mar 19, 2010I've switched from the Iphone 3G to the Eris 20 days ago. Android is sweet, but am feeling frustrated with the speed of the Eris. I upgraded to the rooted 2.1 in hopes of speeding things up, and it did for the most part, but it still lags when trying to make calls. Call quality is subpar on both ends, I had better call quality with ATT and the iphone. I am considering returning the phone to AmazonWireless if possible, do you think they would notice I installed 2.1? Will I get my new account activation upgrade on a different phone (Incredible or N1). I plan on activating an old phone until one of those comes out, then using my upgrade discount on that. Worst case is I'd have to sell it on ebay and buy an unlocked version.
