Camera Update Not Restore To Previous Version When Restart
Jan 2, 2013i have device. and i want update my camera in my device. i have camera.apk with new version and i install it and works with new version. but when i reboot/ restart device. the camera back / restore to previous version / original camera version.
how to fix the camera app so the camera update not restore to previous version when restart?

May 15, 2009I am developing a ToDo reminder type of app for android. on creation of a new reminder an alarm and vibrator scheduler is created with a toast. This works on intents and broadcasts and is pretty straight forward stuff with putextras using the reminder id from the db. My problem is, if some one restart the phone, i guess all the scheduled alarm and vibrator tasks for the reminder will be killed. Once the phone restart again how to recreate the scheduler tasks.

I was going to use some sort of film protector, such as Zagg invisible shield and a Flip Case. But the only flip case I can find for the Galaxy S looks horrid, and I am not sure on the texture of Zagg Invisible Shields.I have also considered silicone gel cases, but I am having trouble finding one that is nice, and pouches in combo with a screen protector.What would you use and if I did buy a screen protector, which brand should it be, I want one that will protect but with minimum difference to the feel or colour of the screen.

Right now I am changing the package name in eclipse and changing the code manually, but this seems really inefficient. I basically want the Moto Droid lock screen on my EVO for the slide to toggle sound on/off feature due to the lack of an external switch on the EVO. Sep 7, 2010What is up with this program? Everytime I open task killer it shows Amazon MP3 as running.I have NEVER used Amazon MP3. Amazon MP3 came with the phone, yet my carrier won't support it ( cough Sprint ), they say call the application provider.I can't get a phone number to Android to give them a piece of my mind.I call Amazon and get sales people that don't want to listen and dump me on anyone they can find and are the wrong people. Why can't I get support? Why can't I uninstall Amazon MP3?I don't want Amazon MP3, not if it is going to run all the time and drain my battery.

Everyone else had iphone's which didn't have the 3.5 connector to play through the chappel's speaker system. On top of that we were kind of in the middle of no where so their 3g signals were pretty spotty. Luckily my verizon android had a perfect signal so I went on to Amazon mp3 and bought the songs I needed and became the default A/V guy for the ceremony.

Mar 19, 2010I've switched from the Iphone 3G to the Eris 20 days ago. Android is sweet, but am feeling frustrated with the speed of the Eris. I upgraded to the rooted 2.1 in hopes of speeding things up, and it did for the most part, but it still lags when trying to make calls. Call quality is subpar on both ends, I had better call quality with ATT and the iphone. I am considering returning the phone to AmazonWireless if possible, do you think they would notice I installed 2.1? Will I get my new account activation upgrade on a different phone (Incredible or N1). I plan on activating an old phone until one of those comes out, then using my upgrade discount on that. Worst case is I'd have to sell it on ebay and buy an unlocked version.

"My uploads" - whatever that is, "Voice Dialer" never works correctly anyway and "Messages" are the other ones. Until Verizon makes Text messages free and or I feel the need to bother somebody with a few poorly typed text messages, instead of using the phone - I would like to get rid of this app that wont shut off!
