View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently upgraded to the galaxy note 3 from Verizon and I installed from here in the threads my favorite app for watching or finding movies to watch "videomix" and where it allows me to install an early version it does not allow the app from within itself to update to the current version as it always did back when on android 4.1.2 with earlier phones. And as of late it will no longer allow me to download movies from videomix which again was able to before. What happens is when I check the progress of the download from the status bar it blanks out at whatever percent and stops downloading. SCH-I535
View 1 Replies View RelatedI can't download anything through the browser, individual apps or the market (including updates. If I try it on a wifi connection (perfect connection until I try) it stops the download immediately. Either "download stopped" or "download unsuccessful". On 3G It's basically the same but slower. Since this started, last night, everything is slow on 3G. I'm also having a separate problem updating apps. I keep getting the message "Sorry, there's not enough space to install this item." I have not installed anything new and have uninstalled some apps to clear some space. I keep getting the message even after I uninstalled several games. I now have 93MB free on my phone. I'm sure that an update to an app that I already had installed doesn't need more space than that. My wife just updated the same apps on her EVO.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been receiving messages for a couple of weeks about an update but each time I tried to update it, it said it was corrupted and unsuccessful. I tried again yesterday and same thing twice but now I occasionly & randomly get a msg when checking for updates manually that there aren't any available. Later on, back comes the original message that an update is available. What's happening? If I'm having trouble getting the update is the update even worth having. Any clues anyone?

I'm running Revision 5 of the Android SDK and AVD manager (if that makes a difference) Tried downloading the latest android sdk (revision 6) and running everything from the command line and still no dice. I can only assume there's something either in my java installation or in os x on my machine.
I'm rooting my Galaxy S for the first time. Looks like there are multiple ways to do it:
(1) Download & apply update.zip
(2) Use z4root app from market
(3) Use SuperOneClick for PC

Excuse my ignorance, but will rooted phones be able to download the new Gingerbread update when it's available?
View 12 Replies View RelatedMarket always tells me there's a handcent update. I think I may have shut my rooted 2.2 Incredible down during an update or something.
Now it is always showing "Downloading"
If I hit cancel download I get a Market FC. I uninstalled handcent, went to reinstall it, and the only button Ii have is still "Cancel Download" even though I uninstalled Handcent.
Does anyone know where the OTA update downloads to on the phone? I assume it is on the SD card until it is installed but I can't find it when I search the SD card. My phone downloaded the update automatically so now its taking up 45mb of precious space on my D1. I want to extract the file and save it on my PC. so its not taking up unnecessary space on the phone or SD card.

View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm pretty much done with rooting, so i've unrooted with DM. However, I no longer have the android marketplace. The droidmod forums are a goddamn ghost town, so I've decided to update to 2.1. Hopefully it will fix my problem. Now that my phone is unrooted, how can I force it to check for the 2.1 update? I remember reading about a number sequence that one dials, which forces the phone to check for updates.

View 1 Replies View RelatedA while back I had my brother root my Samsung Galaxy S3 for me. I unrooted it using SuperSU but when I went to install the latest KitKat update (4.4.2) it flashed the yellow triangle and said I had unauthorized software and I needed to contact the Verizon store. I did the down volume-home-power thing and took care of that but it is clear to me that even though SuperSU says my phone is unrooted it isn't. How do I really unroot my phone?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a Virgin Mobile Galaxy S3 that just got the 4.4 update this morning. Afterwards it had to redownload/update nearly every app on the device as well as all my SNES and Playsation ROMs which I though was odd.
Now all the notifications for thos downloads will not go away. I've cleared them all at once, I've cleared them all individually. When I turn the screen off and then turn it back on an dunlock the phone all those notifications are back in the notification bar.
