View 3 RepliesI'm looking for a way to download some FREE apps from google play without having the market installed. To make a long story short: I don't like the market to know what my phone runs. So is there any software I could download there free app "My Callya" with? Have looked everywhere on the interwebs, but can't find it. I'd be more than happy about a download link to it though.

My Market never changed over to Google Play. Also, some of my apps will 'start download' then never download the update. Other apps update just fine.
After I re-flashed my FW I some how got stuck with "android market" and it wont update to Google Play, is there a way to manually update or trigger the update?

Having trouble with the Ideos S7. It is not downloading any apps from the play market. Keep giving me an error "download failed". Also not downloading email attachments.
I've tried a factory reset, but no luck.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently created a developer account on Google play to add the Android Apps of Droid Manager to Google Play. What's Ironic is I cannot download my app from Google Play, it says: Not available in your country !!While I have set it available in all available countries. I can download any app I want (of course I'm using Tor Project, since there is no Google Play available for Syria).

It doesnt work on Wifi or mobile data...
with webOS there was a patch that basically 'removed' a download speed limit from the HP app store (which i believe was an app store limitation)
I typically have been downloading apps from G.Play over wifi at home, but just generically wondering if there was some type of cap implementation with android and/or G.Play, and a way to remove it via a mod?
running a rooted stock rom on a Sprint GS3.
I downloaded the Google Music App to my phone, and then downloaded a song from android market. When I go in to the google music icon on my phone, my song is not there. How do I find the music that I download from them? I have a Motorola DroidX.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm facing the infamous problem of "not enough space" when downloading from the market, while I actually have plenty of space. The ultimate solution seems to be moving download cache to the SD card (symbolic link). The problem is that the download cache with ICS and Google Play isn't located in /cache/download anymore, and I have been unable to find where it is located both searching with Google and browsing the filesystem.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI would like to install just Google Play (Market) without the other GApps. I tried a couple of APKs that I found floating around the forums, but none seem to work.
Are there some additional dependencies (like the Google account, for example) which I need to install in order to use Play? I am trying to avoid any Google synch and also don't need GMail, Talk, etc. Installing them just to remove them with Titanium or something seems counter-intuative.
My samsung galaxy S3 is brand new and it wont download apps from the play store it gets to about 30% and then it stops everytime. if i connect to the wifi it works np, the wierd thing is it will let me update my apps on the mobile network but not download a new one. I have tried updating the phone, factory reset, stopping framework and removing google id and restarting the phone. I also tried putting my sim card in another Samsung Galaxy S3 but it still wouldn't download i then tried calling virgin and getting them to send me the apn details which i then installed but this was unsuccessful, so i went to the virgin store and they told me to get a new sim card, so i did but still it dosent work!!!
View 3 Replies View RelatedI purchased apps, via Google Play, and now can't download them. Not just to my Xoom, but also my SGS2. I've tried all download fix options on the Google site, even talked to a tech (who asked I do them again, and then respond via email).
Another option would be to do a factory wipe/reset. Since I'm playing around with ICS, I decided to revert back to factory on the Xoom and try again. Still no luck. Just stays at "Starting download". No percentage. No little "downloading..." message under it. Can't even cancel it from downloading.
And I've tried the following options:
Cleared the cache and/or data
Uninstalled updates
Logged in and out of the "Talk" app several times
Rebooted
Tried requesting from the store web page on my desktop
Tried over different wifi networks
Tried over Verizon
Tried over AT&T
Tried with ICS 4.0.3
Tried with Gingerbread 2.3.6
Tried with Honeycomb 3.2.6
Tried with a factor reset/wiped Xoom (using .img files directly from the Motorola web site)
I have plenty of free space available
I know if this doesn't get resolved, both of my android devices will have become useless to me.
I've recently won a Dell Streak 5, but it appears to have been shipped without the Market or Play apps - when trying to download through the Google Play site, it tells me to open the shopping bag icon on my device - unfortunately, their isn't one!
I had a Dell Streak previously (until some git stole it on a train - I will find you Mr Thief, if you're reading) so i know market is available on the device - my g-mail account even contains all the old apps i have paid for when i was last using the same device
i'm aware i can probably install non-market apps using apk files, but due to laziness i really want to avoid this.
so my google play market has updated again and with this new verison 3.5.15 all the apps that i've have had broken the market link to have been relinked to the market and when i try and break the market link again it says that it can't connect to the market DB. which i believe is to the new update of the market to version 3.5.15.
i was using mybackup pro with mytoolbox to break the market link,,, it is the newest version of the apps.
Whenever I try to download any kind of app, as soon as it finishes downloading it says "Unfortunately, Google Play Store has stopped". I have tried restarting but don't really know what to do from here because I just switched back to android after a nearly 5 year hiatus and so much has changed.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a serious issue with my Goclever A93 tablet. Some time ago i've decided to root the device as well as remove some of the useless, bundle apps however i do think i've removed a little too much.
The problem is the tablet properly uses the sync option to sync emails with my google account however i'm not able to download ANY app from Google Play Store. Whenever i'm trying to do so (either update a pre-installed app or simply download a new one), the download simply freezes.
IN other words, i select either UPDATE or DOWNLOAD for an app, then hit the ACCEPT & Download button and that's it. There is an information "Downloading ...", the progress bar is moving HOWEVER the download never starts!
I've tried a huge variety of solutions - i've updated the tablet's software (from 4.0.4 to 4.0.4 but a newer build), updated Google Play app to 3.5.19 (newest i guess), removed external SD card, did dozens of factory resets -still nothing.
I'm guessing, again, that i've removed too much system apps while in the root mode, nevertheless i do not know which ones i'm missing.
When the first version come out i installed the apk (3.4.6) then it silently update to 3.4.7.But now it stopped at 3.4.7 while my old Galaxy S update itself to 3.5.16.Is there a way to force update without installing the apk? I try to clear cache but it doesn't update after acceting terms and condition.

View 9 Replies View RelatedI like my apps to be kept up to date automatically. But I'd rather it happens overnight when my phone is plugged in, rather than when I'm at work for the day and will be needing every last bit of battery juice. I know that there is a setting for update over wifi only. Any way to extend this to only when on wifi and plugged it? Could this be achieved with tasker? Is there a way on charging event to change the toggle whether or not automatic updates happen?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using a Samsung Tab 2 10.1 P5113 and I updated my Google Play Music app to the update released on May 15th (the one with the "All Access" feature and ever since then it keeps crashing. It is completely unusable. I have tried everything I could think of. I was on CM 10.1 nightlies, then i went back completely to stock, I've unrooted, wiped, uninstalled, re installed, and every other idea I could think of. (Note that I have root and am running on stock Touchwiz so I can post a logcat if you need me to, also all of the other Play Music versions worked just fine for me.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have just got LG P500 early this year, my friend supported me root this phone with CyanogenMod (7.1.0-RC1-Thunderg-KANG) and the Build number was SonyGenMod v1.2 Final. I really want to go back to normal settings or the best settings as I don't really know how to root/unroot or update stuff.
I just want to use the updated version of Android Market. Right now, it is very annoying that I can't go online on WIFI because I can't update apps or go in Google Play. As it comes up with some errors.
Phone settings: Location : Battery Saving (GPS off, using Wifi/network location only)
On Google Play Services 4.0.x - I get very accurate location small circle around where my house is.
After updating to 4.2.25 - I get a large circle - maybe the radius of an entire block / surface area of a cell tower coverage roughly
Uninstall the update to play services (back to 4.0.x) - get very accurate location again.
I am using a RAZR HD with 4.4.2 kit kat / CM11.
Did play services update broke my specific phone?
I would stay on the older Play Services but Hangouts and Maps keep bitching about needing to update it.
