I tried few keyboards so far and non of them is good as the JB stock one, my problem is that I cant add additional dictionary to the stock keyboard.

I'm having a problem ever since i updated to 4.3 last week I'm trying to add hebrew to the samsung keyboard and it keeps failing or just not doing anything.
I tried to clear cache for the app and still now go....also tried to download using WiFi and 4G still no go
Another Issue I am having is that the Geo-Tag and the camera used to tagged correctly in hebrew and now all of a sudden it tags in arabic.
I have a Coolpad 8720L with its own interface built upon 4.3 Jelly Bean. It's not very good, and I'd like to install stock Android instead. How do I do this?
I heard that I have to root the device, and then find a ROM for stock Jelly Bean to load onto the device?

The magnetic sensor in my stock rom (JB) is deviated from the direction. and it is due to faulty sensor files in the stock rom. The sensor works perfect in old ICS version.
Calibration apps wont work because the problem lies in the sensor files itself
Stock icon app drawer it looks like 4 white quarter circles with 6 white squares inside.

But the problem is that I have removed a lot of bloatware on my phone like Game Hub, Music Hub but also the stock-clock (and more) with Titanium Backup. But will that cause a conflict with Jelly Bean when JB is being installed? The system is missing files and apps, and then JB is installed on top of that. Sounds like a setup for problems to me. Tried JB with uninstalled stock-apps on their old ICS?

I followed a guide in order to change framework-res.apk and SystemUI.apk from /system/ ( my phone is rooted + cwm) but i couldnt get it going (i couldnt find all the icons to change).
How can I type a word that is not in my dictionary, use it, but not add it to my dictionary. Very cumbersome to do currently, and one of the reasons I sometimes don't use stock keyboard.

The numbers are not clickable, although the websites are.
I have downloaded Kii keyboard because Swype does not work anymore.I have a HTC Evo 3d.

I have a device here that's not running well on 4.2.2. If I back it up using KIES will it be possible to install the older 4.1.2 Rom and then install the backup I previously made? I'm asking cause I'm pretty sure that it wasn't possible to install a backup from a newer OS version (iOS 7) to my iPhone 4S running an older OS version (iOS 6).

I have a couple of Chinese made smartphones with Android 4.1 and 4.2, and Telstra (Australia) pre-paid sims. To recharge a sim, I have to call #100# then enter a selection from the resulting text menu, in this case by typing a 1. The problem is that as soon as the call connects and the text menu appears, the keyboard has gone from the screen, so I have no way of typing a 1. If I tap the keyboard icon to bring the keyboard back on screen, the call automatically disconnects. Is there a way of 'locking' the keyboard on screen? (Unfortunately my grandchildren aren't in the same town as me).
View 3 Replies View RelatedA few days ago, my phone got the lastest 4.3 update. Since then, I've noticed that the texting keyboard is different. I am not a fan. You're now forced to hit the swooping arrow to skip auto-correct, which is my biggest complaint.
Is there a way to reverse the update?
Suddenly, SwiftKey will no longer allow me to make the keyboard larger or smaller. I've tried reinstalling to no avail.

There is NO keyboard or text entry widget... I try to create an new account so i get that form that asks for my email and pass... but when I click on it i get a Google vocal input thing that does not do the work anyway... I went to setting, turned it off, still no keyboard...

I just received a replacement for my Galaxy s3 (cracked screen on my first one), and both the old phone and new one are running the same software and both are up to date.
how to get the Samsung keyboard to be the same on both phones. All settings are the same. the new phone's keyboard doesn't have the small punctuation symbols on the letter keys (like the old phone does). I know this may seem like a bit of a ridiculous thing to have an issue with, but I'm kind of... particular... with the way my phone looks and is set up. That, and I find it to be annoying to have to go to the Symbols section of the keyboard to use any form of punctuation.
Currently I'm running SlimBean 4.2.2 on I9000, which probably stripped the stock keyboard off most languages.I came from CM10.1 in which gesture/word suggestion typing worked in all languages.I was wondering if it is possible to add additional languages manually? Or maybe take the complete android stock keyboard out of the CM zip file and install it in my ROM.

I of course read the woes and pro's of KK 4.2.2 after I did the update!! grin! and do not like the restricted access to my SD card folder creation file transfers etc and want to go back to JB. "A", can I go back with Odin and a stock Bell JB for the note 3, and have it all back like I did before the update...."B" What about my trip counter etc? Will that be effected?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have had my phone nearly a year and how it's got a cache of people I've sent emails to, because sometimes I want to retrieve an address I didn't think I'd need again... However, it also presents some annoying issues. It also saves every typoed address I've ever fat-fingered, and sometimes it comes up as the first choice when it was for someone in my contacts, and I then send a message to a bad address. If you go to write an email and press that little 'contact' button in the "To" field area, it shows me a list, and I don't know where some of those are coming from - it's some but not all of my contacts and some but not all of the addresses I've ever written to. I would like to clean out the fat-finger errors and also that mysterious list that comes up when you press the little contact icon when composing an email, without taking a scorched-earth approach. Googling around indicates to me that this has annoyed people for years and nobody's found a solution.
