Games :: Resident Evil Type Games For Htc Hero / Anything To Sort Snesoid?
Jul 25, 2010I'm very new to the android phone's (Just got my HTC hero three days ago.) and I was wondering, are there any good resident evil games for the htc Hero? I've seen some awesome one's on iphone and I used to have some fun Resi games on my old E71.
While I'm on the subject of gaming I have also downloaded the snesoid light and find the music and gaming a little sluggish. Is this just how it is or is there anything I can do to sort that? Would the full paid version work any better?

Nov 1, 2010How to download ROMS...I think. I went to [removed] in my browser and it downloaded the file but when I got to open it in the emulator it is saying "Load Rom Failed. Please try another file? It is a zip file. Do I need something extra downloaded on the phone to unzip it?

Nov 12, 2010I thought I saw a thread somewhere someone stared with roms that work with the SNESoid but I can't seem to find it (maybe I'm mistaking it for a different emulator though).
Can anyone point me to it, or tell me if they have been able to get Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure to work? It may be the ROM I'm trying, but I can't seem to get the game to work.
Also, I have not tried the PSX emulator, but am thinking about buying it. Can anyone with it try Pitfall 3D for me and see how that runs?
Games :: PSX4Droid Working Roms Spot
Jul 28, 2010So they finally allowed the PSX4Droid to be released on the marketplace and I've tried out 5 ROMS. Post what you've tried and what works so we can all know what to download. Here's what I tried:
Oddworld Abe's Oddyssey - trailing images, background messed up. Sound is good, video images at beginning work great. Trailing images and background are disappointing.
Oddworld Abe's Exoddus - same as the first one.
Crash Bandicoot 2 - images ok, sound great but verrrry laggy.
Need for Speed III Hot Pursuit - flawless from what I experienced. Sound great, images great, video great.
Metal Gear Solid - most disappointing. Loads fine, goes to the menu, you select your difficulty....blank. I've tried from 2 rom sites. No dice.
Overall experience, disappointing. There really needs to be an update so these roms can work properly.
Games :: Genesis - Download Roms For These Emulators
Jul 13, 2010I have a rooted Moment and just downloaded the lite version of the Genesis emulator because I want to test it out before i decide if i should buy it, or the SNES/NES ones. My questions are what are the best sites to download roms for these emulators and then how do you run them? I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to phones and OS's so any help would be great.
Really the only games im looking for are Mortal Kombat 1 and 2. Mario of course for the SNES/NES. I remember trying to find Mario for the emulator I had on my computer but couldn't find any.
Games :: Gameboid Not Playing GBC Roms / Solution For That?
Nov 22, 2010I have a Droid2 and downloaded Gameboid Lite. I then downloaded gba_bios.bin, and 2 separate versions of Pokemon Silver roms. gba_bios was selected just fine, but Silver won't run. I noticed you have to put the zipped .zip ROM, so i put both on my SD card and both are giving me the same result.
When I select the game, the screen changes, "Select ROM" at the top turns into "Gameboid Lite", and a notification in the notification area says "Gameboid Lite is running". I'm assuming this is where the game usually starts up and runs, but instead, after about 0.5-1 second, the screen goes back to Select ROM, and nothing happens, even though the notification says "Gameboid Lite is running".
I have no idea why it's not working. I downloaded a separate ROM file to see if it was a bad ROM, but same error with both. Any ideas?
HTC EVO 4G :: Trying To Install Roms
Aug 30, 2010I tried to install cm6 but i keep geting an error. what exactly has to stay on my sd card after i root? i deleted the pc36img file, was i supposed to keep that on there? do i need it on there if i want to go back to froyo 2.2 rooted?

Oct 9, 2010I've rooted my EVO using unrEVOked 3 and I've installed ROM Manager but I can't install any of the roms. I also tried to flash cyanogen by putting the zip on the sd card and when I try to load it, it says installation aborted then give a bunch of other stuff. This happens also when I try installing a rom from ROM Manager.

Jul 22, 2010I rooted my phone with Unrevoked 3 and just installed the FPS fix kernal. For those of you who have not done so yet, I strongly urge you to give it a try. The smoothness of the phone after installing the fix is 10 times better. My FPS went from 30 to 50-55 as measured by Fps2D. I will be observing the battery life over the next couple of days to see if there is any impact on the battery life. Now that I have gone this far, I am considering installing a custom ROM. Which ROM's can I install given what I have done so far. As I understand it, by rooting with Unrevoked 3 there will be some that I will not be able to use.

Feb 12, 2009I kept my .apk file in my "apache" webserver at "Document root" path. This is the only file at Document Root . I had removed index.html file at this location. If I keep the index.html file then other files where not displayed if I open the URL i.e http://<ip_address> using a web browser Now from my Google phone browser I'm able to download the apk file and and install it in Google phone. Note 1: I had not done any settings to add the MIME type "application/ vnd.android.package-archive" in apache web server. Note 2: I was connecting to my webserver through WiFi. But the same apk file I was not able to download from my Gmail (as attachment) and I got "unknown file type" error in this case. After reading few related topics, I came to know about the MIME type support required in webserver for android applications. Now I'm wondering how come file gets installed sucessfully from my apache webserver even without adding the MIME type "application/ vnd.android.package-archive". Any clues what's happening here?

Mar 10, 2010I just got my refurb today and it wont let me install the smoked glass roms neither v4 or v5. i rooted the phone with no problems. and i had smoked glass running perfect on my other phone.
I go to "advanced nandroid restore" then "choose backup" and i choose the smoked glass rom then the phone says: "nandroid exited with status 25." and if i try to use the backup rom i made it says "nandroid exited with status 21". any ideas? ive tried several times today with same results.

Jun 24, 2010I have omj 1.4 n before i had supersonic n it wont let me install new roms, when i download the rom n try to install it, it goes to the recovery mode n stays there, nothing pops up. i think my recovery menu is messed up or something.
