home ++ running well on my droid. i did a soft reset and now all my apps are missing from the app tray. i have since downloaded 3 apps from market and only those 3 show up in app drawer now, how do i get the rest of them back?

Been on 2.1v3 since it came out and just today I noticed in the market a couple of games are now showing in my Downloads as Purchased. I bought them back on 1.5 and haven't seen them since the 2.1v1,2,3 updates.
They are SmartPix games Tan'n'Feed and CrystalLight Defence ( and they are great to play, by the way ).
Anyway, I'm 99.9% positive they have not been in my Downloads in the Market since I started down the 2.1 path. Now they are...weird.
Wonder if the 2.1 rollout triggered something in the marketplace?
So I downloaded the OTA update today without a hitch. I went to the Market today to finally download Pac-Man and maybe de Blob, but they're both missing. No big. I tried to do a search for them and...they aren't there. Has anyone else noticed anything like this?

View 6 Replies View RelatedIt seems like everyone uses a home screen clock of some sorts, so I figured I was missing out. I tried a few, but can't get over how much screen real estate you lose! What's the point of losing 4 icons just to see the time, which is plainly displayed on the top of the screen already??? I have the stock Moto power bar up there, which is very helpful, but it takes up 4 spots too. Am I missing something, or do people just need to have the clock that big in their face all the time? BTW, I went from a Palm OS Tore to a Win Mo Treo (and i Pod touch) and then finally got the Droid back in January and I couldn't be happier!! Android is everything I thought it would be and then some.

One issue I have is not been able to find the Verizon apps for the FiOS DVR and Remote Control. Have they not been ported to version 2.2? Should I use the update patch to force the Droid to see 2.1 apps in the market or just wait for verizon to update the market?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have a non-rooted Droid 2 and the Desk/Home dock. When I first tried it out, it worked as expected-starting the home dock screen when placed in the dock. However, I now find that whenever I dock the droid, the notification bar shows that it is connected to the multimedia dock but it does not start the dock application. I used Astro to browse the /system/apps folder and found the Dock app- clicked on Open App manager and then Launch at which point I get a message saying "Activity not found com.motorola.dlauncher". I don't know if this is why nothing is happening when I dock the Droid but can anyone tell me why this suddenly stopped working and what I can do to get it working again?
View 15 Replies View RelatedThose of you who have root access in there devices may have noticed icons missing on there home screens. If you are wondering why this is due to using Titanium Backup to move apps to the SD card. This only happens with certain apps, usually only the ones that can't be moved from the devices settings. To fix this simply move said apps back to internal storage and all will be well.

I probably think that some files are missing from my system folder (keychar and keylayout folder). I do not want to re-install my android once again. (I do not have backups either)

I had 18mb internal memory free for apps and after installing an epub reader i kept getting the message running low on memory.I uninstalled it and did a reboot and now i have 70mb free and all the existing apps are running fine.Somehow i have managed to free up a huge amount of lost space which I assume was being taken up by apps not uninstalling correctly.Either way i'm happy until froyo comes out.Just wish I knew where the memory keeps disappearing to over time.

However, when I restored helix, none of my apps were restored to their appropriate home screen like it normally is. It's a pain to drag them all one by one again to where I want them. Am I missing something, or is there an app out there that will remember them next time?

View 2 Replies View Relatedok so to make a educated decision, i downloaded from the market, home++ and GDE. so technically with default home app, i now have three to choose from. noticed that when press my home button it wants me to decide what home app to use and all three come up. does this mean that all 3 are running? is this sucking the life out of my phone? i have heard the whole android moves memory to running apps thing so i am wondering should i remove one of them since i cant remove the default one?

After installation, icons for the programs don't appear in the programs list. I've confirmed they're installed, as they show up in the manage apps list. Any programs installed via the Market show up on the programs list.
My wife has just got rid of her faulty X10 and moved to the X10 mini pro.
She's very frustrated as apps are just not showing up in the market. She used Bloo all the time along with AG Newspapers UK and Flood-it (game), these were 3 of the most used apps she had but when she searches the market for them it says they are not there! I have managed to get hold of the latest Bloo beta apk and installed that and it works fine.
Any ideas why these apps do not show up? the mini pro is 320x240 so it's not a resolution problem (same res as my old G1), the apps show up on my Desire (same phone network etc) the phone was unbranded/unlocked from Expansys

Is the phone SIM registered in T-Mobile as the Correct phone? android market app is missing too, so I cannot reload the apps. The browser is working fine, videos are streaming, calls are OK, bluetooth. No google maps also.
