HTC Incredible : Number Comes Up And Contact Its Linked With Shows - When Called
Apr 30, 2010whenever i get a phone call, the number comes up, and the contact its linked with shows, but so does the cell tower location...anyway of disabling this annoying town/state info,,,,all i need is incoming number and name if contact.

Mar 3, 2010I'm trying to prevent my application to call the same method twice in the event of a double-click, or if the user presses different buttons quickly, almost at the same time.I have clickable Views, acting as buttons, that call the same method but passing different parameters.Inside this method I'm creating a new Thread, because it queries a web server for the result.The problem is that upon two quick clicks, the method is fired twice, two threads are created, and consequently two new activities are created. That makes my app crash.But this only seems to work on slower phones like the G1, I tried on Nexus and before it set blocked = true, the second request has was granted. So is there any way I can block the method being called if it's already running, or if the thread has started so it wont create a new one.

Sep 11, 2010i have removed some apps but there is still some of the files on the sd card.should i either delete the files with the pc or download the apps again then clear the app cache before removeing again? will just deleteing the files with my pc when it hooks up to the htc cause any problems or fail to remove hidden files elswhere for the apps? also could somebody list what the default files would be from a new phone and what the file names mean/corespond to please so i dont delete important files.

General :: Why Won't Apps Resume From Where Left Off In Smart Launcher 2
Apr 24, 2014I really like Smart Launcher and I'm just done customising it but everytime I open an app it just starts from the start.
I'm reading some stuff in Reddit Sync, I press the home button to quickly check another app and when I go back to Reddit Sync (or any other app) it doesn't resume from where I left. Of course I can open up my recents and go from there but I'm wondering if this behavior is normal?
I'm on a LG G2 4.4.2 by the way.

Jul 23, 2010Some of the Samsung phones have a toggle bar for GPS, wifi, ect. that can be pulled down from the notification bar. Does anyone know of an app that mimics this? I've looked in the market but didn't find anything that similar. Also a simple 3 button media player option would be useful that way you don't have to switch apps just to skip a song or stop the player. Is there anything like that out there at all?

May 24, 2010My apps widgets arent updating according to the settings. For example, weather bug widget, and Google finance, and engadget. I have to click into the app itself to get it to appear correctly. Sorta defeats the purpose of a widget! Is there another parent setting that is preventing this?
