will allow me to set seperate ringtones or notifiers for my Emails and Text messages? All I can find are sound profile managers that have functionality based on time or locations and even they won't allow me to set a seperate notification for emails and sms text messages. Can anyone help direct me to an app that will allow a seperate ringtone or profile for SMS text messages and Emails?

I did attempt to use the search feature here but didnt come up with the results I was looking for (or maybe I used it wrong?) I ask the following questions because unfortunately, I dont have good eyesight.
1. Regarding font size. I realize there is no current setting for font size on this phone (that I know of) does anyone here know if the upcoming 2.1 update will include that?
2. I know there is a text size option for the browser. However, it doesent seem to work on most websites I go to (like CNN for example) I try setting it at different sizes and nada. So far my browsing experience hasent been that good because of this (having to constantly strain my eyes looking at website text) Any tips on why the text size option doesent seem to work?
3. is there anyway to increase the text size of emails and text messages?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have my phone up in the settings for both email and for text messages to give me a vibrate alert on any text or emails. All I get is the audible ring and no vibration. It is the same on incoming calls. The vibrate works if I turn the ringer off and go to vibrate mode, but it won't work with the ringer.

I notice it vibrating for calls, and text messages, and even emails, but not for yahoo IM. I have instant message set to go in the notification bar so it should, but i never notice it happening. View 2 Replies View RelatedThis is my first post. I've had a Moto Droid since day one, and I just love it. It is without a doubt better than any phone that I've had over the years, and that includes the iPhone, BB, etc.
However, there are 2 things that I don't understand - Font size and a spell checker. It is imposiible to read the small font size in emails or text messages.
1. Why has there not been an app to either change the font size or be able to zoom in? Picasy has incorporated multi-touch for zooming, so I've to assume that its doable! Why not have the same in an email client.
2. Why is there not an email client out there that allows for spell checking? There are many such apps for the BB! I am a terrible speller.
I am not complaining, I just want to understand the limitations from a developers prospective, as I am sure these isuues will eventually be addressed.
I having difficulties setting up specific ringtones for my email, primary calls, and a few specific contacts. It's like no all my ringtones. For example my ringtone I want for my emails will show up in my ringtones. For example some tones will show up in say in my email and not in my contacts.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIf I need to paste text from another app in my Android phone (Samsung Galaxy SII, O2, Jelly Bean), like from Google Keep or Docs, into a text message it tends to convert from an SMS to MMS. This leads to a charge for me as my SMS messages are included in my tariff but I have no allowance for MMS messages. I presume that this might be something to do with character encoding or other formatting data that is pasted in, but that is only a guess.
Is there any way to stop short messages from being converted to MMS messages like this:? I couldn't find any 'paste clipboard as plain text' option in Android Jelly Bean.

Tasker says the profile is active and I can see the "silent" icon in the notification bar, but texts and emails still make noise. As far as I can tell, Silent Mode is also supposed to silence notifications, but it's not working for me. I'm using Handcent SMS and Gmail.

1) Whenever I power my phone off for the night then plug it in to charge, it keeps turning on. Is this normal? Is there any way to stop this from happening? Will this have an impact on my battery life?
