Its a LG Optimus 2x rooted, It goes directly into recovery mode and i've tried to install other rom's but it doesn't work it loads until 50% and then just stops. Touch screen or touch buttons also stopped working but the "real" buttons work power off/sound up/down. And the computerdoesnt reaconise the phone.

I'm trying to add a new account in android 2.1 emulator. When I'm entering my password, I found it's impossible to input some symbols, such as #,$,&,*, except @. For example, while I press shift+7, only 7 is shown in the password textview. Any suggestion?

1) Is there a way to override the password requirement for Native Exchange? I'd prefer to not have to enter a p/w every time my phone locks.

I have had this same problem happen twice to me on 2 different phones on 2 different Verizon accounts!
The password screen locks and when it asks for the user name and password it states invalid user name / password!
Is this a known problem since when I called and talked to both Verizon and HTC the only thing they could tell me was to do a hard reset and they weren't aware of this problem?

I can turn it back to portrait and it immediately re-appears. This only happens when I pick it up - It can be laying in the seat in LS mode and be perfectly visible, as soon as I pick it up, it goes dark. If this is a feature, what is the benefit?

It seems that I can either have absolutely no notification of a new text message or I can have this major intrusion of privacy by having the message displayed for all to see. I hand my phone to people constantly to use at my job sites. I trust they are not fishing around in my phone, but when it just shows up on the screen, how can they help but read it.
