Its a LG Optimus 2x rooted, It goes directly into recovery mode and i've tried to install other rom's but it doesn't work it loads until 50% and then just stops. Touch screen or touch buttons also stopped working but the "real" buttons work power off/sound up/down. And the computerdoesnt reaconise the phone.

Solution I tried: I flash a stock firmware thru Odin and still it boots loop.
Maybe I can fix this problem of mine when I go to recovery mode, but how can I enter CWM recovery mode?

Just FYI in case anyone wants to know: For download mode, with the phone turned off, fold the number 1 key on the QWERTY keyboard and the power button simultaneously For recovery mode, with the phone turned off, hold Volume Down, CAmera, and Power simultaneously. You navigate with volume UP/DOWN, select with HOME, Menu toggles to "Manual Mode", whatever that it.

After rebooting the rom is stuck, so now i want to get back to stock but , i have not placed stock rom on internal sd card
and my recovery mode is showing internal sd card. so i am unable to copy stock rom into my internal sd card. As my phone is unable to connect to pc. I tried odin but it did not work.
So I have a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 X (GT-7560M) and basically I tried to flash CM11 on it, and when after the reboot, the phone was stuck in a boot loop and I can not access nor the Recovery mode nor the Download mode. I did try a USB jig and still no luck.

View 5 Replies View RelatedWhen the (HTC Desire) phone is powered up it is unable to mount the SD card, and I am unable to have it mounted from the "Settings > SD card & Storage" menu. Having said that, the micro SD card can be accessed from a computer (when plugged in directly to the computer, i.e. no issue with the card), and moreover, when I am in the recovery mode, I can have it mounted and browse it. By the way, the card could be accessed from the phone until I downgraded the O/S, and managed to have it rooted.
When the phone is running normally, and connected to the USB port of a laptop, the laptop does recognize a device connected (can even do ADB), but I believe because the SD card is not mounted, the phone does not offer the option to make the card appear as a disk drive for computer access.
I am running the original (RUU, Telstra) Android 2.2 (2.26.841.2) on a HTC desire, after I had it "S-OFF'ed". After reloading the original 2.2, I had it rooted.
The micro SD card is a 2GB one, with approx 1.5GB formatted as FAT16 (contains typical file and photos), and 0.5 GB as EXT3 (contains nothing at the moment).

I have searched online for solutions, and have not been able to have it fixed. Others seem to have different issues to that of mine. Usually, they cannot mount the SD-card at all (not even from recovery), or their SD card just needed to be reformatted. I think I have indicated that these do not appear to be relevant to my issue at all. I have also tried "Fastboot oem enableqxdm 0", and it made no difference.
I've looked all over I will feel so dumb if someone posts with a link showing me how But I don't know how to put my phone into recovery mode I feel super dumb already I JUST rooted my eris and I'm a bit lost on what to do I've done my reading up and I really just want to make my eris faster so anyone care to help a nob out?

Everything was going well, I performed a full Nandroid backup, moved su to systemxbin as suggested in many posts. Today I did a phone shutdown, then pressed power + volume down to get into the ClockworkMod Recovery v2.5.0.5 menu with the intention of doing another Nandroid backup. I selected 'backup and restore' from the recovery menu and then pressed the power button to select. But pressing the power button only blacks out the screen instead of selecting the menu option. I tried depressing the power button for a longer period of time...same result. Essentially, I'm unable to get out of the Clockwork menu.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Vibrant. The issue all started when I tried to install the 1.2ghz OC rom onto my phone. I had rommanager installed, and attempted to run it off the SD card, but when my phone booted up it had lost my applications, everything.
The problem I'm running into now is that the phone seems to be unable to use its mass storage. Every time I attempt to reinstall an application from the market it says it doesn't have enough memory. Under settings it says "unavailable" for the internal mass storage.
I tried using the volume buttons and power button to enter recovery/dl mode but every time I do I cannot make selections. If I use the power button to try to select it does nothing. In fact the "up" volume button makes it go down, and the other "down" button also doesn't do anything.
Since I have no applications I can't use clockwork recovery, even though I know I have one. Also, Odin is unable to connect to the phone, so I can't reload factory. Kies also doesn't recognize the phone.
It also won't even recognize the SIM card, says it has no reception when it clearly does.
I have a Samsung Galaxy S Plus where, after flashing CWM with Odin, and installing cm11, I'm stuck on an infinite boot animation. But that is not the big issue. I need to enter Recovery Mode, where I have a backup, but the problem is that my Volume Up button is not working, so I can't use the Power Button and Volume Up(I also don't know what could possibly wrong with it) one to get there. So I was wondering if there is some other method to enter Recovery, I suppose by computer. I think that when I used Odin, the device restarted being in Download Mode, and I think that it hasn't to be On to do that.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI guess as I rooted my att GS3 just fine and flashed a new aokp rom and was up and running but started to have intermittent flickering. It prompted me to reflash rom with CM10 and this is were my problems began. I wiped data/factory reset, cache partition,Dalvik cache, mounts & storage format cache, and accidentally format emmc which I think is my problem. I was able to still reboot to CWM recovery but I can't do much more than that, and now I can't get to CWM recovery mode at all. Have tried to boot and reflash from ex/sdcard no good. PC doesn't recognize phone to do recovery from backup and I didn't do internal backup which I now know was dumb. Is there anything I can do to get back up and running or did I screw myself and have to get a new phone?

Now I gotta send this phone back to Verizon and I don't want to send it back with it being rooted cause I don't want to get charged for the phone. Then I flashed CWM with Mobile Uncle Tool. It said that I flashed sucessfully, I got no error. But when I reboot the phone to recovery mode, nothing happend, the phone just did a normal reboot! I tried to flash other third-party recovery mode such as TWRP and MIUI recovery but I got the same problem: the phone couldn't get into recovery. The screen with a text "Recovery mode" appeared in 3s and the phone just did a normal reboot. I couldn't even format factory, all I got was just a normal reboot. I even tried many tools on Google Play and MTK flashtool but there were no hope. Now my phone is working normally but can't get into recovery mode.

before doing anything , when i enter the recovery mode it shows a picture of an Android and a Triangle next to it " Which should be the background image of the recovery mode " and there's no menus or anything , nothing appears even if i press power or volume buttons
So now after i rooted the phone , installed another recovery.img with MobileUncle , it just keeps stuck on the phone's logo and doesnt even show that triangle picture and it doesnt show anything but the phone's logo
I tried a lot of different recovery.img files but none worked, Then I tried a recovery img that worked for another guy who has the same mobile kind , it worked for him but didnt work for me
Even after flashing it with MobileUncle , still i get the same problem..
All what i edited in the root files was the boot sound and animation and i even restored the stock ones back and still the same problem
and the last_log file in System(Root)/cache/recovery Includes this

PS : Oct 15 is the last day i ran the stock recovery that only shows up the background image of recovery .. So all the recovery runs after flashing new recoveries till Oct 23 arent logged in last_log..
I want to make a clean hard reset of my GoClever Tab R974.2 but no matter what I do it won't load the bootloader. I tried all pssible combinations of all 3 abailable buttons (power,vol+,vol-) and all possible pressing times from a few seconds to a minute.I also tried rebooting into bootloader via the ADB but without any luck (device not recognized).My main problem with this system is that I tried to root it and it seemed like it worked, the superuser .apk was installed, however when I tried to start Titanium backup or any other prog that requires root access, it shows that there is no root access. Then I also tried z4root, but no luck either and SuperOneClick just freezes when restaring the ADB daemon.
