How can I get the Spotify app to run in tablet mode on my HTC One? I'm trying to use Xposed App Settings to do it, but the app still recognizes my device as a phone.

I want to use Spotify on my phone, but a stupid app restriction allows me only to listen randomly chosen songs from an artist or a playlist. This doesn't happen on the tablet version hopefully, so I want to use the tablet version on my S4. I used the Xposed module "App Settings" in order to change the app's dpi to 240 and even to 160, but it doesn't change to tablet mode (although the app became nearly impossible to read because of the dpi). I assume that Spotify doesn't change its form by dpi then, what this app knows it's on a tablet?
View 4 Replies View RelatedJust switched from iPhone to new HTC Desire, which I love! Only one problem though! When I put my phone into airplane mode, but with wifi on, Spotify goes offline. When I take phone out of airplane mode Spotify still doesn't come back on. I want to be able to use Spotify at night, but with phone in this mode. I used to be able to do this in iPhone, am I doing something wrong? Would it have something to do with SD card?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI recently got a chinese tablet that runs a direct port of the original android version, which im almost certain dosent support USB Host, howeve the tablet has A USB host port. I am curious if theres an app out there that supports USB host for keyboards and/or Flash drives. I like the idea of just plugging in my flash drives and viewing/editing my files on the go when I dont have my computer with me.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have this tablet Microlab Spektru 1.2 Ghz RK2918 , 512 Mb DDR3 Ram. Not sure if it had 4.0. Actually it's not my tablet, my grandpa' bought it, anyway he noticed that the Wifi signal was very bad and someone told him that he could use a micro-sd for updating.
So he turned off, put the SD and "installed" android again. after this android started normally but the Touchscreen not working.
Also I found some firmwares, but i Still can't get into recovery mode, the tablet doesn't have a Home button. Just Up, Down Volume and Power.
My tablet is Allwinner A10 1.5. Tablet rotate display 180 but the touch is still in the true direction. So I want to rotate the display without rotate touch

View 6 Replies View RelatedI have an ASUS TF700KL tablet that I'm trying to fix a firmware update on. The only firmware update available for this model can be downloaded from the ASUS webpage - you can't get it from the settings menu.
The unzipped file is a .raw file, so the only way I can get the tablet to update the firmware using this file is if I put it on the external SD card and make a hard reset launching from the SD card. However, for some weird reason the tablet can't see the SD card when in the boot mode. The SD is clearly visible and accessible when using the tablet.
I'm a Galaxy S2 GT-i9100 user and I wanted to know how to run touchwiz in tablet mode. Do i have to decompile SecLauncher2.apk and edit the code so that it becomes accurate when using with landscape mode or is there an xposed module. Or do i edit build.prop file? I don't want to install other launchers or get ParanoidAndroid.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI rooted my galaxy tab 2 7.0 yesterday and flashed cm10.1. Everything was working great until I tried changing my boot animation. When I tried rebooting it rebooted but there was no boot animation and then once it rebooted half of the screen displayed black(it isn't broken because the backlight is on and it works fine when it is in recovery) I boote into recovery and tried restoring it from a backup I made of the stock rom but it keeps saying E: signature verification failed.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a Chinese 7 inch Tablet named Luv Pad AD701 based on Allwinner A10 processor. I installed "CWM 6.0.1.2_a10" and then rebooted to recovery mode. Now I am stuck in the loop of CWM Recovery mode. The tablet only opens recovery mode and desn't boot normally. I triesd to flash a new ROM but it says

This tablet doesn't have volume up or down button.It only has power, back and option button.
Is there a way to change the Display output resolution in Android?
I'm not talking about the screen density (DPI). I'm talking about the pixels.
The thing is I own an Acer Iconia A700 FullHD tablet but there is lag, especially on 3D games that forces the native screen resolution of 1920x1200.
So forcing the resolution from 1920x1200 down to 1280x800 would theoretically reduce those lags.
So it works with some games that comes with an option to change the resolution, but most games doesn't have an option, they simply run in 1920x1200 and lag really badly.
Is there a way to change the overall resolution down to 1280x800 ?
I know it MIGHT be possible but there could be a problem because the image has to get upscaled to the native display resolution.
And I don't know if the Tegra 3 comes with an hardware scaler. So if the resolution gets changed, it might get upscaled and filtered (or not) OR just centered in a smaller image in the middle of the screen.
But either way.. Is it possible? if yes, how?
My friend have a ChiliGreen tablet, yesterday he reboot it after stop all application who were running on it and after the reboot the tablet goes automaticaly in recevery mode and now every time he reboot it goes to recovery mode i make a factory reset but nothing always recovery mode.

I do a lot of science-type stuff (astronomy), and also photograph at night. I used a red-tinted flashlight, so as to not ruin my night vision. I would love to be able to use my phone while shooting, or doing astronomy stuff out in the dark, and not have bright white glow from the phone.

I had an old HTC Desire in a drawer at home and thought I'd try let it serve as a Spotify Connect device attached to my Hifi. With the new Spotify Connect feature you can remotely connect to and control another device on your network to play music - perfect for me - without needing to buy a pricey new receiver with the feature built in!
It works remarkably well, much better than DLNA from my HTC One, with one caveat: after a period of inactivity it no longer shows up in the list of Connect devices in Spotify and I need to physically switch the screen on and select the Spotify app from the task list.
It's running CM 7.1 and turned Wifi power saving off in Wifi advanced settings. What else I could do to force it out of any power saving mode, seeing as it's connected to mains at all times?
My issue is that after flashing a new rom (after wiping data/factory reset) Spotify will automatically delete my offline playlist. Using Titanium or any other backup solution WILL not work with spotify. After restoring it will restore default settings of the app and log you out.
I have tried copying the Spotify folder from my phone to my computer, than pasting after flashing the rom, but this does not work. Any way to NOT have to re-download spotify playlist after flashing roms?
I recently upgraded to Spotify Mobile on my Samsung S3. I also drive a 2008 BMW 535i. I am able to sync my phone to my bluetooth for phone use; however, I cannot figure out how to get Spotify Mobile to play via bluetooth. For those that have a 2008 or prior year BMW with bluetooth, is it possible to get Spotify (and other streaming music) to play over bluetooth? Or is this not an option? I know current model cars allow you to do this, but I'm beginning to suspect that this option was not available in 2008, at least for BMWs.

I'm not sure if they're full apps or just simply icons to download apps or get more information. I have tried to avoid using them. I know previously I had a couple apps that were sending notifications to the notification system that I considered to be spam. After some research I found out how you can find out which apps are doing it and disable notifications from those apps so that took care of that.

I have noticed an irritating condition with Navigator. When I turn it to landscape mode, the screen darkens to unreadable. I can turn it back to portrait and it immediately re-appears. This only happens when I pick it up - It can be laying in the seat in LS mode and be perfectly visible, as soon as I pick it up, it goes dark. If this is a feature, what is the benefit?

It seems that I can either have absolutely no notification of a new text message or I can have this major intrusion of privacy by having the message displayed for all to see. I hand my phone to people constantly to use at my job sites. I trust they are not fishing around in my phone, but when it just shows up on the screen, how can they help but read it. Is there a privacy mode or a way of turning off that display bar?
