Anyone using LancherPro (Beta v0.5.1) and Copilot at the same time? Copilot will startup but when I select an icon inside copilot, copilot will crash. Is there any way to exit LancherPro other than de-install it?

Only downside thus far is that you can't customize the four shortcut icons at the bottom, but they're my four most used programs anyways, so I don't really mind. And that you can't use HTC widgets, but I expected that.

On my previous phone, BlackBerry Bold, there was an option to archive apps onto the SD card so that they could be easily transferred back onto the phone if wanted without having to re-download them. Is this possible on on the Desire or is there an Android app that makes it possible?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm using Copilot Live USA on my Droid and quite often when I'm testing it at home, choosing different routing options or making other changes to see what effect they have, the app will just close (sometimes after being unresponsive), leaving me at the home screen. I had a similar problem while using it in the car today - a call came in and after the call was completed, Copilot was closed. In all cases, long-pressing Home and selecting Copilot from the recent apps list, results in the app starting from scratch - displaying the splash screen and so on.
Since Copilot takes up a whopping 33+ MB (effective, according to system panel, plus another 12+ MB shared), my first thought is that Android is killing it to allow some other process to run. This is despite the fact that the Droid is listed on the Copilot web site as a compatible device. Is this a common issue with Copilot on the Droid, and is it less common on phones with more RAM?
Started on the missus iphone that it stopped sayiing 'Welcome to CoPilot' when you started the app (even though it is switched to on in the settings), also none of the directions are audible yet the button clicks are fine. Sent a support request to ALK a week ago... no reply. Today fired up CoPilot on my HTC Desire and exactly the same thing has happened throughly pissed off.?

I had to uninstall it as I ran out of memory on my G1.I temporarily removed other programs to gain the space needed to reinstall it so I could deactivate it per coPilot's FAQ that said this was necessary in order to transfer/install it on a different device. I then uninstalled it from my G1.I went to Google market to download the installation file to my EVO 4G (which uses a different gmail address) but there is only an otpion to buy it again - there is no free/trial install file available to download to which I could add my product key to activate it. There is no trial download file available on CoPilot's website.I initiated a support ticket several days ago and have not heard from them. Seemingly they already have a procedure to do this as their FAQ says it is doable.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have cp8.2 and it doesn't seem to work when I plug into a 1000ma car charger it shuts down and says it won't operate in usb mass storage mode. Issue 2 is that Bluetooth only half works ie comes through half phone audio and ghosting on the radio. Everything worked fine on 2.1. Also Bluetooth works fine in every other app on froyo.

As soon as I start the application, the music stops, and won't start back until I close the app. For now, I use Google Navigate, but I would rather use CoPilot, which I paid for.
View 3 Replies View RelatedToday I confirmed my suspicions about Copilot Live - an incoming call causes navigation to stop. Upon completing the phone call, the app loads - not where it left off, but from scratch - and then calculates the route from your current position.
Is this behavior unique to my installation? Or the Motorola Droid?
I should add that NDrive also stops upon an incoming call, but does not automatically resume afterwards.
I'm starting to wonder if this is some remnant of development for some non-multitasking phone OS that I won't name.
I have just bought an HTC magic which had a copy of the co-pilot app on the SD card. I have installed the app but when I try to run it it comes up with the co-pilot screen but says "Invalid Library CoPilots code cannot be loaded by the system"

View 1 Replies View RelatedI have a new HTC Desire and I was hoping to transfer my TomTom Navigator 7 to it, unfortunately TomTom do not have support for Androids so I purchased CoPilot 8. Apart from a few installation problems which have been sorted by CoPilot? Technical service I am very pleased with it. The CoPilot starts up in a few seconds and the Satellites register in about 15 seconds, (this is realy fast compared to TomTom, on my HTC Tytn ll which can take anything up to 10 minutes). The maps I purchased for ?57 cover the east and west europe are very sharp and the voice navigation is very good. The same maps from TomTom are about 3 times as much.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy push mail on Gmail stopped working in the last few days and I realised it was about the same time I installed CoPilot.
I've tried removing some apps and resetting the device but still no push email.
Unfortunately this happened a few weeks ago and it was down to google servers which fixed itself after a while.
I tried to download CoPilot to my hero, I got as far as adding all my details and the credit card details. After I clicked the buy now button it greyed out and nothing happened. What now?? And will I be charged? I checked my bank to see if there was a payment taken but nothing so far.
