Has anyone else downloaded this off of the market yet? It's the smoothest home replacement I've tried yet, and even has the pinch helicopter view. Only downside thus far is that you can't customize the four shortcut icons at the bottom, but they're my four most used programs anyways, so I don't really mind. And that you can't use HTC widgets, but I expected that.

How do I get this to add a clock like the HTC sense one? I see it in the example in market and it says you can but I dont see it under widgets after I download it and restart my phone.

~Windows XP SP2, 32bit
~The SDK is installed and working.
~The USB drivers have been downloaded through the SDK.
~The phone is in USB Debug mode.
~The USB drivers have been installed in windows.
~Windows device manager shows that everything is working fine.
~Windows recognizes the phone when it is plugged in.
The ONLY thing that does not work is that the phone won't show up in the list of devices adb sees. Everything else appears to be setup and working just fine!
I have developed an application which has tabActivity using SDK 1.0 r2.
1st Tab contains List view. -> the list contains some images
2nd and 3rd contains some webviews.
The app works fine on G1 mobile.
Today I downloaded SDK 1.5 and ran the same app on SDK 1.5.
The app got crashed when I scroll down/up the list items very fast (fling)

I am not understanding the above error log.
Then I experimented some thing like this: I removed the TabActivity, just shown only list activity. Then I scroll down/up the list items. Then there is no crash.
In my application users take photos with an Activity that implements SurfaceHolder.Callback. The uri.toString() is then passed as an extra to a subsequent Activity that displays the image. All fine, except for in Android 1.6 the jpgs on the sdcard have a strange noise when looking at them through mac finder or win explorer after mounting the sdcard. The images have purple and yellow stripes on their upper half. Fine on camera gallery.

I just got back from my local VZW store. No line. I immediately downloaded Google Maps. It installed and ran fine.
Turned on Google Navigation and navigated home. GPS locked quickly, seemed accurate (within reason, maybe 25-50 feet) and gave perfect spoken turn-by turn directions. Woo hoo.
I am gonna download some things and play for a while, but my # 1 concern looks to be appeased right now.
I can't get to twrp because of fff. I was wondering if I can flash ROMs with root explorer or some other app I can just download directly to my kindle.

LauncherPro has been awsome. i love the scrolling dock bar,how i can adjust how many pages i have 3 - 7. and its extremely customizable. Im sure most people on here know about this but if you dont check it out. download it free in the market and hit the home button. a window should pop up that says launch with home, sense, or launcherpro. pick launcher pro and see for yourselves!!

Before these we had samsung delves. So these are night and day with quality. But as most anything, things get bigger and better. Of course the new droids out, it kind of makes the Eris, an outcast it seems. So we've been playing around with a few launchers like launcherpro and adw launcher. So far we both like the launcherpro, and might upgrade to the plus for the widgets. Does anyone with launcherpro plus, possibly tell me what other features you get buy purchasing this app? And my last question is about rooting. What exactly does it do for your phone? Thank you all!

View 6 Replies View Relatedlong story short I dropped my hero into a glass of water while half asleep. I immediately pulled the battery out and threw the whole thing into a bag of rice for 2 days. Pulled it out today and it works. But theres noticeable water streaks on the screen when you look at it from an angle. Will these streaks ever go away? I have insurance, so I can get a new one for 100$ but not sure If I should throw the money at it since it still works perfect, minus these ugly streaks.

I recently complained about keyboard lag on the latest leaked version of 2.1. I remember loving the Swype beta on 1.5 and decided to go ahead and re-download the installer. Everything installed nicely and i switched my input method to Swype. To my dismay, after swyping my first word, Swype displayed a pop up saying that "this swype package you installed is not configured for this device" and then refused to register any of my swyped words. This Eris keyboard business is now REALLY starting to piss me off. Before I break something, does anyone know how to get Swype Beta to work on this new leak? I, and my many fragile possessions, would be eternally grateful.

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy Gmail account works great, and I have my aol and yahoo acounts set up no problem (well the yahoo was a little problem but got it to work so thats all that matters). I have 2 other email accounts that no matter what I do I can not get them to work. One is my works email which is handled by a company called network solutions. I can get the incoming server setup fine but I can not get the outgoing to work. The other is my school email which is some sort of msn email account variation (username@email.itt-tech.edu which i log into through msn.com). I cant get anything to work for this accuont.

I'm trying to get this latest swype beta since i've never used swype before. I've got my email and when I click the link it says that I'm not running on an android phone... Could this be an issue with 2.1v3. I noticed another poster had the same issue and he's also on the leak. Is anyone else having the same problem or am I just SOL?

I downloaded the Swype Beta when it came out and have been having all kinds of problems with if freezing. I've tried un-installing and re-installing and it still happens. Can someone tell me how to fix it or post a link to the original leaked version?

View 2 Replies View RelatedIn the last 3 weeks, I've found that Chrome To Mobile has stopped working for my Chrome browsers on mulitple desktops, to multiple devices. "Print" requests on the Cloud Printer Beta page show my requests, stuck in a perpetual state of "Queued" ... until I delete them.
Deleting and adding the devices hasn't worked. Neither has stopping and restarting Chrome sync.
I love LauncherPro and Froyo, but every time I use a ROM for a few days, LP starts to bug out on me. The problem occurs when I wake up the phone or when I return to the home screen after using a program for awhile.
I have tweaked my settings quite a bit, and I can't seem to avoid this kind of behavior. My overclock settings are 785-245 and I have tried messing with the LP settings, but I can't find that golden combination.
Lots of people say LP is the best option for Froyo, and I certainly like it best... when it's working. So could someone who is having no problems please share the secret to your success?
Anyone have this combination?? It felt like with the adw it was laggy. Is there something i should change in the settings while using launcherpro? or adw? Such as the speed of flicking the homescreens, maybe theres a good set up of settings to go by?
