View 4 RepliesI just installed the froyo leak and bought launcher pro plus. When I use the messaging and people widget the contact pictures don't show but under my contact list it shows the pictures. So im wondering if you guys have any solutions. Also under the social networking logo widget when I resize it it doesn't show the text, only a blurry picture. So im wondering if you guys have any solutions?

Is there another good Weather Widget that will show the weather move on the screen? Like with the HTC Default on 2.1 if its raining there are rain drops all on your screen, if it is cloudy clouds move across the background..is there another widget that will do this?
View 16 Replies View RelatedQuick question - why won't the standard message widget (the "stack" of messages type) show any names, just numbers? The numbers are saved to my contacts etc etc and are on both the sim and phone.
Other than checking the numbers against my contacts or by the content I've no idea who's sending me messages.
Anyone know of a good RSS app with a widget (that allows you to specify your own feeds) that has the option to take up the entire screen, not just a single line? To be clear, I want an app with widget that can display on a screen, not an app that you have to browse to, then open, and then view a list of feeds. What I'm looking for is something like the native News app but something that actually works! I've tried to use that app before but it refuses to update properly even when I try to do a manual update.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI just set the HTC messaging widget (just the standard guy) to one of my home screens and decided it was not worth having but when I try to remove it (just holding down on it) I get this error message...
The application HTC Sense (process com.htc.launcher) has stopped unexpectedly. Please try again.
Force Close
I have no idea how to get rid of this stupid widget if not long holding on it, but I just keep getting this error and then all the home screens have to reload.
instant messaging widget for the home screen?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI am looking for a simple app or widget which will perform soft reset/restart of the device. Holding down the volume keys and power key is a bit of a pain.
View 6 Replies View RelatedI love the Inc one, but it takes up to much room and I really want a widget this is horizontal rather than vertical.

View 6 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a good timer widget. I would like for it to be as small as possible. I've looked in the Market, but I'm not crazy over any of the ones I saw.
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am getting a forced close error everytime I try to remove the HTC Messaging widget from one of my screens. I tap and hold down on the widget to select it so I can move it to the "remove" button at the bottom of the screen. Well when I tap and hold I get a forced error close message. Any ideas what I need to do to correct this issue. I'm using the original messaging app, and only have 3 other non related apps downloaded.
View 1 Replies View Related I'm on a Samsung G3 and just updated to 4.3. Enjoying it for the most part but the new lock screen is giving me some trouble. I preferred the one from 4.1 but I'm trying to adapt. Downloaded DashClock and added weather, email, and SMS extensions but I keep getting the stock Messaging widget popping up when I get a message (see image). I do want my phone to vibrate and the screen to turn on when I get a message, I just don't want to deal with the extra widgets.
DashClock is my default widget (got rid of the standard one and dragged DashClock to the right). Is there a way to disable all these extra widgets?
By the way, I did try disabling multiple widgets in the settings after setting DashClock to be my default and it kicked DashClock out and reverted back to the stock lock screen.
Anyone have any recommendations for an RSS reader with a good looking widget? There are tons on the market but many of the widgets aren't customizable, don't support pictures, don't allow opening the browser, etc. I really don't want to resort to using Google Reader, just because I want to have something other than one screen.
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan anyone recommend a good music app with a widget? Am thinking of using the stock player with the Desire but am on the lookout for a good player within the market.
View 6 Replies View RelatedRecommend a good favorite contacts widget that can have photo?
Or something like making contact shortcut to the home screen.
There is Person widget by HTC, but it is awful (the photo is too small).
Best music player with a good widget?
View 44 Replies View RelatedI have been looking for a good gmail widget.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI'm looking for a nice looking, functional SMS widget. I'm currently using the one from Beautiful Widgets, but as much as I like the other widgets in that package, I think the SMS one is painfully ugly and doesn't fit with anything else on my home screen. I know I could have Handcent do popup notifications, but I would prefer to have a widget like the one I currently use that sits on the home screen.
Something skinnable would be preferable, but if nothing like that exists, then perhaps a simple, minimalistic or universal design.
Anybody know of anything that I might like? I'm willing to pay for a good one, it doesn't have to be a freebie.
Can anyone recomend a good calendar widget? I have tried quick calendar (which always screws up on me) I have tried Laik (which doesn't even display my entries, or it does for a bit then they disapear) I currently have calwidget installed and it will not show my own entries..it did once for about a min until I went to add more and that was it)Im coming from a blackberry background user and the blackberry today feature was dominant over anything I have yet tried on my magic to display on my home screen, however my magic overall destroys blackberries, I really need a good calendar widget to display my events on my home screen,, kinda important to me since its all mostly work related.
View 6 Replies View Relatedbesides the power widget is there one you can download that just for gps that actually works and is problem free on the droid?.
View 3 Replies View Relatedwhen you click on the Text Messaging icon that your text messages lag as they appear in the display (for example, I see phone numbers first associated with each message, and then I have to wait a few seconds before names slowly pop up in place of each number)?
View 6 Replies View RelatedI know this is probably something REALLY easy to do but i cant seem to figure it out. I just changed to using Handcent SMS instead of the default messaging app and i cannot find out how to stop the notifications from the default messager app, because now it shows 2 notifications, one for each app, and select them, it will take me to the message, but i'll have to manually clear the notifications. Anyone know a fix for this?
View 4 Replies View RelatedI noticed that the contact pictures that are being used aren't those in my contacts (they have the FB pics) instead they are using the contact pictures I have up on Google in my contacts. Is there anyway to change that? Also, the box around the image makes the image very small, anyway to get rid of that?
