HTC Incredible :: Way To Increase In-call Volume On Phone?
Apr 30, 2010First of all, I love my incredible, but I'm afraid my in-call volume is very low. I've turned the rocker all the way up, and it's still very low. Speaker works great on the other hand. Anyone else having these issues, or maybe mine's just low?

Nov 26, 2010Just bought the x10i and loving it, got a few problems but which phone on the market is 100% perfect. I do however have an issue with the low in-call volume and ringer volume. Its very low and struggling to hear the other party, I see from other threads this isn't an isolated issue. Will SE be sending out an update to solve this problem? It seems like a batch issue as not everyone is experiencing this fault.

General :: How To Increase Call Log Archive To Longer Than 30 Days
Feb 22, 2013For some reason, in my LwW Wt19 (Gingerbeard 2.3.4), the default Dialer (phonebook?) only keeps 30 days of recent calls, but others aplications (for example Go Contacts Ex, ExDialer) let me watch all calls I have ever done. So it makes me think that the problem is the default dialer.

Motorola Droid X :: Hack To Increase Ring And In Call Volume
Aug 8, 2010Still debating on which phone to buy. With the droid x the major concern is soft volume (some phones seem softer than others); rumors of over heating and wifi issues.
Is there a known hack to fix the volume issue; or has Motorola ack the issue and have publically indicated a fix is in the works? Next weekend is no-tax weekend (in Ma) so I might try to pick a phone up then...
I'm pretty sure the wifi issue is a firmware problem (shame on moto for using an encrypted boot loader and having bugs like this one); not sure if overheating is limited to a few phones or is a design issue.
Anyways please add comments (negative and positive) relative to alternatives (samsung s and evo are major contenders). With the samsung the major negative is it pauses now and then and also have soft volume (there is a fix for the gps issue); for evo the major negative is +$10 and poor battery life (this phone is nice and loud) also the display is a bit dimmer than the droid x (an issue for outdoor usage).

Feb 11, 2010I use Google Voice (love it) primarily because of it's visual voicemail on my Droid. I do have a Google Voice number, and I'm trying to decide whether to set the Droid app to "make calls using Google Voice" or not.
I have no problem with giving out a different number, and my placed calls seeing the GV number in caller ID.
My question is, does this affect how the call is actually connected, from a quality standpoint? I tired a call both ways, and the sound quality seemed a little bit different. But then, I am an obsessive compulsive weirdo.
Is there any difference in call quality or routing between making a native Verizon call and a Google Voice call on Droid? (Like, does Google voice actual use 3G to connect to Google server over the internetz, then place the phone call?)

Sep 24, 2010I know I can increase the font size of a normal website by going to menu>settings>text size. But apparently that doesn't work on some websites. Usually it doesn't seem to work on the "mobile version" of some websites.
For example, if I go to TechCrunch on my android. Then I cannot change the text size on that page. Neither can I pinch zoom on that website. Which makes the articles unreadable for me.
Is there something I can do on my end to fix it? Is it wordpress who should fix their mobile engine (this site uses it)? Or is it techcrunch themselves who are configuring their wordpress wrong?
