HTC Incredible :: Google Talk Auto Log In After Open Program
May 21, 2010I have an issue with Google Talk auto logging in after open the program. I went into settings and unchecked auto login. It's logged in to an email address I don't want to use. Is there a way for me to switch it to another one or be able to choose between the two of them? Is the auto login a glitch? By the way it's on my HTC Incredible.

May 9, 2010I have had a problem with the android marketplace on my HTC tattoo since i got it at christmas where i can't download any apps and the progress just stops at 'starting download' -- i have tried factory resets, new google accounts, wifi and network etc. etc. but it still doesn't work. i have been looking at google help and some people have solved the problem by simply signing into the google talk application that comes standard on most android phones. my tattoo doesn't have google talk though and i have no way of getting it. So can anyone provide me with a link to download the file off a file-sharing website such as rapidshare?

Samsung Moment :: Deleted Google Talk App - Can't Download From Market
Jul 25, 2010I flashed my Samsung Moment (2.1) with Dream 3.0...everything is perfect but I went ahead and deleted google talk since I never intend on using it.
Well, apparently that causes one to not be able to download from the market. I can't even download Google Talk now to fix it. It keeps crashing when I try to download anything. I have Root Explorer and Astro but I don't think I backed up the Talk app. Am I screwed or is there some way to make this better?
HTC Incredible :: Google Apps Chat/Talk
Apr 30, 2010I have a gmail and a Google Apps account. I have been able to set up the gmail account for both chat and mail. I have only been able to set the Google App up for mail. I cannot seem to get it to work in meebo or any other app. Anyone using a Google App as a secondary been able to set it up for chat/talk? If so, how or what app worked for you?

May 8, 2010Anyone lately get the Google talk authentication error notification repeatedly and find that they can no longer download apps from the Android market? Mine is going on the third day now and endless Google searches reveal that this problem has affected various Android devices worldwide, including the Incredible that just came out. I've tried all kind of suggestions but none work and there doesn't seem to be any official response from Google on the matter. I wonder if it is a hardware problem since these forums are not buzzing on these issues at all. In my case the phone worked perfectly for 2 days after activating and knowing how high the demand has been surely more people would be experiencing the same issues were it a device or cloud software problem. If anyone else has the same problems please post here.

I mainly ask as I am curious how reliable it is as a replacement for SMS. I'd love to cut my phone bill by $20 a month. Jun 15, 2010why I'm not able to sign out of Google Talk? I have 2 Gmail accounts and want to switch over to my other one. I unchecked the automatic sign in box in the settings and forced closed and reopened the program again. When I open it, it automatically signs me into one account. It's extremely annoying. I hope I don't have to do a full reset of the phone because I already have so much stuff on it already, including a lot of personal data. This is something that I just can't get by because I need to start using G Talk now.

Is it possible to send SMS via Google Talk on Android? I assume it's possible because it's possible on a PC, but why hasn't Google added the support? I guess the carriers wouldn't like it much, but that shouldn't stop Google.

Whenever I click the icon, it shows a black screen for about 1/10 of a second, then goes right back to the home screen. Green for available, red for busy, etc but there's a blue bubble that is displayed.I read online that this means you have been "Idle" for 10 minutes but how does this work on the Android phone?
