Does anyone else have problems changing email font size in the standard mail app? I would like to see email text in a smaller font size, but changing it to smaller or smallest in the settings does not seem to have any effect.

Anyone know how to change the standard font size on the email program which is standard? While were at it, can a signature be added with that program?

View 6 Replies View RelatedThis is my first post. I've had a Moto Droid since day one, and I just love it. It is without a doubt better than any phone that I've had over the years, and that includes the iPhone, BB, etc.
However, there are 2 things that I don't understand - Font size and a spell checker. It is imposiible to read the small font size in emails or text messages.
1. Why has there not been an app to either change the font size or be able to zoom in? Picasy has incorporated multi-touch for zooming, so I've to assume that its doable! Why not have the same in an email client.
2. Why is there not an email client out there that allows for spell checking? There are many such apps for the BB! I am a terrible speller.
I am not complaining, I just want to understand the limitations from a developers prospective, as I am sure these isuues will eventually be addressed.
Does anybody know if I will be able to increase the email font size on the Incredible? I have BB Storm 2 and can't wait to get rid of it. I tried and returned the Droid because I don't want to put my reading glasses on every time I get an email or text. I have talked to several Android 2.1 users who tell me that this can be done, but not a single one has been able to show me that it can be done.

I already have three phones on Verizon so adding a fourth would be easy enough. I actually had the T-Mobile version but radio performance was horrid (no signal in places where an unlocked iPhone was able to make calls) and I'm hoping that on the Verizon network the radio issues will be solved. I don't remember having trouble with email, but I had the phone for such a short time (under a day) I can't remember if I had email issues.

On my secondary gmail account (not the one the Eris is set up with, but another one that I set up in K9) the font size in the message is so tiny I can't see it. View 2 Replies View RelatedI like using K9 Mail, but I was wondering if there was a way to change the size of the messages listed in the in box or any IMAP folder. 10-and-a-half messages (with the subject on one line and sender on another) are displayed on my Moment's screen. While I like seeing all of these messages, it is not very finger-friendly. It is difficult to tap precisely on a given message. Is there any way to increase the size of the message list? Something like the default Gmail or Android e-mail app would be great. I have dug through the preferences of K9, but so far haven't found anything other than being able to change the theme of the app.

To me the text is huge, and therefore the inbox list is shorter and you only get a small preview of the info. Is there a simple way to reduce that text size that I just haven't been able to find?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a friend that is visually impaired and has a hard time reading normal sized fonts on cell phones. she currently has a blackberry tour because she can adjust the font size and make it large enough that she can read the screen easily. does anyone know of an android phone that you can adjust the font size on? or is there a program for a android phone that blows the screen up? she really likes the capabilities of android phones but needs to be able to see whats on the screen!
View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been developing on a ADP2 (Google Ion) with a "standard" screen size (with a resolution of 320x480)... Our designer made some pretty neat Images with which to create the GUI, and when placing everything within the layout XML files it looks pretty good... That is, on the Eclipse renderer, the one who shows you how it will look like on the device... Thus not the emulator itself... Unfortunately when run on the real device the supercrisp and beatifull images become blurry and unsharp... I actually do'nt see why this should happen ? Everything has been designed whilst keeping the target devices resolution into account... Is this because most probably the dpi of the screen on which the Images were (big 24 inch screen) is different that the devices? And if so how can this be corrected (maybe within the designers application as well, I think he uses Photoshop).
