Android :: 3D Map With Multiple Pictures

I am picturing something like what I saw on G4 a year or so ago. Program that takes multiple pictures and creates a 3d map based on them in which you can walk around inside the map. I really wish I still had the bookmark for that page. Anyway, is that the same as what you are talking about here? Or am I mistaken? If it is the same, it is an amazing concept. I look forward to the site being up and running so I can poke around a bit. (Right now, it won't connect).

I have a dozen images that I want to email. From what I have seen so far, I have to attach them one at a time. Is there a multiple select to attach to an email.

I've installled the Gallery3D-App (the one from the nexus one) and I like it alot... the only problem is. I can share 1 picture on facebook, but the moment, i chose another one, its only shareable trough picasa and email why cant it share multiple pics at once?

I'm just starting to get the hang of animations, tweened animations that is. I have made several imageviews with pictures rotating and moving, and its all very fun, but I don't know what the best approach for doing multiple animations is.
For example I created a LinearLayout and stuck some ImageViews in it and wrote this:
CODE:...............
for each imageview. So they all spin. But now I want to step it up a gear. But reaidng other sources on the net it seems some people use canvas to do animations. What is the best way?

So when I get bored I usually bomb my friends phones with tons of funny pix I have accumulated or received. I get really bad reception in my house and it will go from edge, to 3G, to no data signal. I go stand on my porch, get 3G.... they still don't send.... but they don't fail to send, they just sit there with that stupid envelope next to them or that spinning circle (handcent).

I did a search on the forum and a search on google and failed. I want to send two pictures to a friend of mine via texting. I can only select one picture through handcent. Is there an app out there that can help? I thought I read about one, but I can't seem to find it again. Or am I just failing at finding the right commands to do it?

Can you delete multiple pictures from that gallery at one time. I'm trying not to have to hook it up to the computer to accomplish that. Can it be done?

I frequently email pictures from my phone. My iphone used to allow me to select a few pictures and send them. It would automatically resize so that recipients didn't get huge files.
I have not to date found a way to do this on android. I can go into quick pik or other programs and resize a picture manually... then select several and email.. but this is cumbersome and results in duplicates of my pictures in my gallery. I can't easily tell which is the big picture file and which is the small.
Is there a program out there that will automatically resize and send multiple pictures? This could be a separate program that sends to gmail or an email program itself.

Are there design guidelines to help decide if an application with multiple views should be designed with multiple activities or just one activity and control the back button itself.
I've tried both. My most complex applications using one activity per screen. However, now that I'm successfully written an app with just one activity and handling the back button myself, I don't see any compelling reason to use multiple activities. The one activity application is much simpler and more straightforward.
What advantages of multiple activities am I missing?

I'm planning to develop and app that presents the users with several different screens (of different information).
Was wondering what would be the best way to implement this?
Is it better to have separate XML layouts and an activity to display and allow the user to interact with each screen of data?
OR would handling all of these in the same activity be more efficient (and dynamically load / unload each layout)?

I was wondering if anyone knows how to sort pictures so that the newer pictures are at the beginning of the list? The default is that new pictures are all the way at the bottom, and since I have over a hundred pictures its annoying to scroll all the way to the bottom. I don't see any option to sort the pictures in any other way.

I've updated my galaxy grand-duos android from 4.1.2 to 4.2.2..I have had some problems at first..including apps problems every application started crashing..so uninstalled and reinstalled them again & they worked just fine.I still have a problem with one app, which is instagram.Since I updated my android , I cant upload pictures on instagram anymore except for the pictures that were on the phone before the update.I tried uninstalling & reinstalling instagram many time & nothing happened.

I have set the android:multiprocess="true" in the AndroidManifest.xml of TargetSL I don't seem to see the multiple instances of TargetSL, which i am expecting ..
All i see is 2 process, where i was hoping to see an instance of TargetSL, for each launch that was invoked by the singleLauncher!

I have a small problem with my G1 that is driving me slightly insane. Hopefully someone has a suggestion.
If this is already covered - I couldn't find it, so please point me in the right direction.
I have my G1 sync'ing with my gmail for contacts (obviously), and a large number of my gmail contacts have pictures associated with them.
This all works fine for a while, and then... consistently... after a few days... the pictures on my contacts get messed up. They kinda swap around, and some of them seem to use random pictures which have been linked to contacts in the past, or perhaps even not at all.
I do not know whether this is getting messed up on my G1, and replicated to gmail, or the other way around, but I can't stop it happening and its massively annoying.
Any other information can be provided, but if anyone else has this problem or knows how I might fix it, it would probably save my sanity greatly.

their promotional screenshots are surrounded by a picture of an actual hardware - Nexus One in this case. Is the usage, for purely commercial reasons, of those pictures of existing hardware legal? Do I have to ask a manufacturer for permission? In spirit of the question above, if you've got personal experience with that, how could I get hold of high quality pictures of Android phones?

How to you make it so if a user does something, it asks them how they want to do it and it brings them to that application? Like if you go "Share" a photo or video it pops up a list with all apps that can do that for you like facebook or text or email , ect.? I am asking how to have my app use other apps, not them use mine.
