View 4 RepliesMy speaker isn't loud enough - when the phone is ringing/when in speaker in a phonecall / when listening to music. Same goes for the earpiece volume - and the volume is at the maximum level.
View 1 Replies View RelatedWhat is the quality of the DHD speaker, I've heard it's not very loud or clear? I'm upgrading from an iphone 2G which had a terrible speaker, so I assume it's better than that. Is it loud enough to listen to music without headphones?

I would like either a button on the screen or a default profile that when I accept a call it will answer straight to load speaker?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI put some MP3s on my Inc and the audio player plays them fine and they're pretty loud coming out of the speaker.
Now, I took one of those MP3s and set it as my ring tone. I turned the ringtone volume all the way up and when I got a call, it's like half the volume as it played as an MP3.
Why do I lose so much volume? Is there any way to make that louder?
I want to replace my iphone in HTC phone and thought about the legend and i got some questions for the users of that phone cuz its hard to relay on an review without hear real experience by a real HTC user.

My wife has a Droid2 and when she uses the speaker phone function, things sound fine on her end, but for the caller on the other end, there is an unbearably loud noise of them speaking. For instance, when I call her and she has me on speaker, I can hear myself speaking super loud coming out of her phone. I can't even concentrate to get my sentence out. Has anyone else had this problem or heard of it? She is using a hard snap on case from Verizon as well, not sure if it could be the sound bouncing of that or something?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI recently mail-ordered a USB-RCA Connector, because I wanted to listen to the music on my G1 through my stereo speakers and the stereo only has an RCA input for auxiliary devices. After I connected the cord and switched my input to AUX, nothing comes through the stereo's speakers: music still plays from the G1's puny speaker. How can I fix it so that the music will play through the stereo speakers?

View 7 Replies View RelatedI'm a brand new HTC Desire user, and on the advice of some friends I've installed Meridian media player and Audiomanager (among other apps, of course). The problem I have is that the minimum volume for media is still too loud for me while listening to music at work. Is there any way I could say, lower the overall volume of the phone? Secondly, what kind of app can people suggest as an equalizer for adjusting bass/treble etc?

View 2 Replies View RelatedNeed help here. My music player volume is not loud enough for me even on max settings. Is there any way to increase it?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI've had the Desire for about 3 weeks now and it's a brilliant phone. However, quite often I listen to music from my Desire through my headphones to help me get to sleep. Unfortunately though, the lowest media volume setting is too loud through my headphones. It's seems to be either a choice of no music (i.e media volume turned to zero) or the next level up (which is too loud). Is there anyway to get a volume in between the two? I've tried apps such as AudioManager but to no avail
View 2 Replies View RelatedSo I use the task killer...and at the moment say when I kill tasks it'll tell me there is about 200M avaliable memory free...if I use the phone for a day it'll maybe go down to 150M even if I am still killing apps and there is nothing in 'running services'. If i turn off the phone and turn it back on it goes up to 250M. What is running that I can't stop myself to make it go down from the 250M but that I can just eliminate by turning off the phone?
View 5 Replies View Relatedis the speakers equal to the HTC Desire? Or better? how can the phone ring louder when it is put in a bag? if it is already on maximum volume? does the SRS and Dolby Digital really have a difference? I'm seriously afraid of all those things before I buy a DHD

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have had my desire a few weeks now. I have a problem with it.Every time i make a phone call or accept a phone call the phone will switch to speaker phone. This happens before i put the phone up to my ear so it is not my face that is turning on speaker phone. If i hold the phone in my hand and dial a number and press call, it goes to speaker phone. If the phone rings and i answer it, it will always go straight to speak phone.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI use my Desire in the car quite a bit, and as I don't have a bluetooth hands free kit, my old one got smashed in the boot when I dropped a big tool box on it. Dumb ass, I'm using the inbuilt speaker on the phone. While for the most part, this is fine, I would like to increase the volume slightly. Obviously not enough to blow the speaker. I know there's an app/mod for the headphones volume, but what about the speakers volume? Anyway of increasing that?
View 4 Replies View RelatedIs it just my handset, or are all desire speaker phones poor? Is there any way of improving it? It was crystal clear and loud on the hero, but it's pretty much unusable on my desire! And yes, the volume is turned up to full.

Last night I put the phone in airplane mode over night.Apns were turned off when I did this. (I do this every night to save battery). This morning, I turned airplane mode off, and tried turning Apn on again, but it wont turn on. (I use Extended Controls Bar widget)I have done a soft reboot (3 actually), but that made no difference. If i go to menu/settings/wifi and network, and look at the text next to the mobile network (Apn) checkbox it says: Connection failed due to incorrect APN setting.I havent changed any settings as far as i know.
