General :: Viewing Threads Without Replying?
Apr 7, 2012I'm a member of quite a few forums and this has to be the only forum where hundreds of members click on a thread topic to view and not reply or provide any feedback. Why? If you have no intention of providing information, and you see that there are zero replies in the thread, why enter it? I can understand if you are seeking info that pertains to the thread topic, but if you see there are zero replies, what's the point of entering it and offer no feedback?

Feb 10, 2014I just created a restricted profile on my Nexus 7 2nd edition. The goal of the restricted profile is to provide a "kiosk"-esq style profile for kids I interact with at work. Currently, I allow the restricted profile to have access to the camera and gallery for them to take pictures and I would then later post them to instagram for our social media page. I don't like the idea of them having access to the companies instagram, so, obviously, I deny that permission. The question I have is, is it possible to access, view, and edit the photos from the restricted profile from the owner profile, but NOT the other way around. Essentially, I want to create a one way street here, but can't figure out how. The photos seem to be independent per profile and I'm wondering how to change that.

May 2, 2014After I take a lens blur photo using the Google Camera app, I can swipe to the right to view the photo and adjust the blur. After I select "done," the photo updates with my blur options. However, when I exit the camera and view this photo using Google Photos, the lens blur options I chose are not there and it's not possible to edit the lens blur. It seems I have to open the camera and swipe right in order to see the lens blur effects.
-Can I only adjust lens blur options within the camera app itself?

if seems this is a waste of the lens blur feature. After I make adjustments to the blur and select done, that's the image that should be saved and viewable by Google Photos, Gallery, and backed up to Google+.

May 29, 2012I own a Mazda CX-9 that includes wireless music access via Bluetooth. Listening to music wirelessly is not an issue, but I used to be able to see the song that was playing on my CX-9's LCD display. (That's when I was using a rooted Droid Bionic running a custom ROM). But I've since upgraded to an HTC Rezound and lost the ability to see the current song that's playing on my phone.
Is this an issue with the Bluetooth version? Music player? Both???
General :: Nexus 7 - Saving Then Viewing Email Photo Attachments
Sep 30, 2012I have a Nexus 7 tablet. After I "View" and then "Save" photos received as attachments from Gmail, the thumbnail icons appear in Gallery but I can't thereafter open them. When I go into Gallery and touch the photo thumbnail, all I get is a black screen. The file's thumbnail icon in the Gallery is a generic icon and not the usual small thumbnail of the photo itself.
How do I view photos downloaded or saved to the Gallery? I haven't changed any Settings which may or may not affect viewing.
General :: Viewing PNG Images - Transparent Background Turns Black?
May 1, 2014 I have a bunch of png images that I imported to my phone from my PC. I dumped them straight in my DCIM folder.
On the PC, these images have transparent backgrounds, however, when I view them using androids gallery app, the background is black. Similarly, when using these images as stickers for my text messaging app (Naver Line), the backgrounds will also show as black.odate.
