May 27, 2010I've searched and googled and have no answer at all. I want to sync my Incredible with my ZUNE software (Zune's equivalent to iTunes). I use Zune instead of iTunes and have all my music organized and whatnot on Zune and do NOT want to have to download iTunes and do it all over again.
Is it possible to sync my Incredible with my zune software and not iTunes? (I know programs like DoubleTwist only work through iTunes).

Jan 5, 2010From an HTC Hero Sprint user. mount your phone, copy your HTC Sync folder in your phone. Zip/Rar the folder for me and upload it! I accidentally deleted it from my phone and I can't sync my phone with HTC Sync application on my PC.

Feb 11, 2010I have looked at other threads and even searched online, but I still can't get this phone to sync. I have Windows 7 64Bit and have downloaded and installed the latest sync as well as drivers and followed all the instructions I could find and it shows up in devices just fine but still just shows me as disconnected on HTCSync and in the sync settings on the phone. This is getting very annoying.

Dec 20, 2009Is anyone having issues with HTC Sync and the phone not being able to find it on the computer? I've used it before, but today it doesn't want to find it on my computer. I uninstalled sync from the computer, and reinstalled it, even tried a hard reset on my phone, still no go.
Any ideas? Or am I just an idiot and doing something wrong?

For those of you coming from iPhones/iPods and have massive clean & organized music with iTunes, there is indeed a way to sync your music for free to your android phone. If you like it, support the project, the software I'm about to talk about is free.
iTunes Agent - Windows based software that reads iTunes, keeps organization and brings the files to your Android Phone.
iTuneMyWalkman - Mac users that are smart enough to know that there are other Mp3 players other than iPods, install this software instead of iTunes Agent.
1.) Download iTunes Agent,
2.) ---> Once Installed, the software will run in the system tray.
3.) Plug in your Android (EVO 4G in this guide.) and mount it as a hard drive. The software is going to write files to your SD Card.
4.) ---> Create a folder on your SD Card titled Music. I will explain why below.
Media :: Sync G1 With ITunes In Windows
Oct 24, 2008you'll be able to set sync your G1 with an iTunes playlist (you're actually syncing the MicroSD card with iTunes, but it works the same). After you install the program, connect the G1. The "Recognize by folder type" field is important. It's basically how the program distinguishes your G1 from any other device you connect to your computer - I added a Notepad file called ANDROID to the root of the MicroSD card, seems like it can be anything that simple. In the "Music Folder" field, I pointed it to the Music folder at the root of the MicroSD card on the G1.
In the "Associate with playlist" I left it as "use device name." Now, when you go to iTunes, under "My Devices" there should be a playlist icon that says "G1". Add whatever files you want (make sure there isn't any DRM) and then right click on the iTunesAgent icon in your system tray and click "Synchronize devices."
