View 9 RepliesI have a couple of questions about layout.
First, is moving things I don't use from where they are. It is possible to move the Browser icon off the home page?
On the first tap to the right I have the music application, and I never use that. I would like to use that space for App icons. Can I move that?
Finally, two taps to the left is the calender. Can I move that?
I have entered the homepage and it displays fine whenever the browser has been killed and I start it (either with a task killer or switch off/on). However when in the browser I can't work out how to navigate to the home page, can someone give me a clue?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI have noticed when I visit a website on this browser it renders the page very small. I compared it side by side with the regular Dolphin browser that renders pages in normal size. Of course I can pinch zoom but its annoying to have to do that on the hd version,.. am I missing something maybe? Also I cant find youtube on the hd version...

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have a lot of lag with the ZOOMING function of the Dolphin browser for my Hero. Whether I use the multitouch pinch-zoom, or the actually zoom buttons on the bottom of the screen, its laggy. Am I doing something wrong? The pinch-zoom is way laggier than the pinch-zoom on the stock browser...
View 6 Replies View RelatedThe browser lag today made me want to smash my phone (obv exaggeration, but you get the point)...so, I decided to check to see if maybe there was an update waiting for me in the Market and sure enough after updating the browser it is on fire again. So, if you haven't updated yet today, make sure to do so.
View 8 Replies View RelatedI was looking for a better browser and for my money Dolphin is the best one. But I can't download anything! I've tried pdf, mp3, and gif all from different sites and every time it just says "download unsuccessful." I've managed to download the same files using the built in browser but I can't seem to get dolphin to work.
View 6 Replies View RelatedNewly htc hero user and thought when i downloaded dolphin it would allow me to view every website in desktop version/ not mobile version which i dislike bigtime.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI like to download podcasts to my hero which can take a while because they're pretty big files. If I get an email or text while downloading it pauses my download and says waiting for data connection. The same thing happens sometimes when it bounces from WiFi to Ev. The only way I can get it to start downloading again is to start another download. This is annoying so does anyone know a better way to resume a download or is there some setting I can change?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the latest update to Dolphin but I have some questions.
1) What is the quickest way to get to the bookmarks?
2) How do you edit/delete bookmarks?
Just updated the Dolphin browser on my Hero at the weekend but can't work out how to refresh the page?
View 2 Replies View RelatedCan you make the startup page load on default? Not the browser page, but the page with bookmarks, google pages etc?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have the tronsmart CX-919 mini pc running 4.2 and there is an issue with the browser reverting back to the home page or the previous page. When I try to display a webpage on our intranet it reverts back to the homepage or previous page after about 3 hours. I need it to display constantly. I read somewhere that it was a Download Manager issue and disabling it would work but I can't find where to disable it. Also it was stated that Flash was an issue but i tried uninstalling it and it just reinstalled itself and the problem kept occurring. I just want to display a page in a browser and for it to stay on the screen (full screen) until I manually navigate away from it. I plan to leave it on for weeks at a time.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI am using Damage controls new 2.08.1 Rom and I have it working pretty good now. But I can't figure out how to get the weather on the stock flip clock. I want to use my current location.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have Google.com set as my "home" page on my hero... It's a little silly cause you can just press the magnifying glass from anywhere and it brings up the Google search, but I guess I like it...
What I'm wondering is; has anyone found a quick way to get back to your "home" page while surfing?
I was wondering how to add my own picture or image to the bookmark so i wont have to see the plain browser/ dolphin logo on my home screen,is there a certain app that i can do this with or some way of doing it with pandahome or a different home replacement?

View 2 Replies View RelatedMy dad has an Aria, so I am asking this question for him. Under the settings for the Web Browser my dad set his home page to Google, however when he opens his browser it always opens on an AT&T Yahoo page. I have an Eris on Verizon and my browesr opens to the page I set as the home page. Is this a problem with the Aria or AT&T? Is there a way to fix this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedSpecifically, I wanted to know if I could set touch.facebook.com as a page on my home screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhy is it that the browser does not go back to the home page after closing and reopening.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm sure it's something simple, but my mobile Google browser home page has stopped working, I just get a white screen now. I've tried clearing my cache, but it didn't help.
View 1 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to use the heros search button to perform a google search in dolphin browser? It's a big drawback at the moment.
View 2 Replies View RelatedDoes anyone know if you can change the options you get when you press the menu button ?
Also can you change the order your bookmarks are in ?
How do you refresh a page in the browser?

View 10 Replies View RelatedThe default Browser application on my HTC Hero v1.5 just keeps coming up with the standard "Web page not available" page when I try to connect to any website. This happens when I use GSM, 3G, HSDPA or Wifi to connect.
I generally use Opera Mini to access the web and this works perfectly, it was only when I used the Dolphin Browser (to access a site that doesn't display properly in Opera) that I realised it wasn't connecting and coming up with this message, so I tried the default Browser and realised this had the same issue. I then tried Skyfire and this also did the same!
All other applications are fine and can connect to the internet perfectly well. As I said above the Opera Mini browser works perfectly but this may be to do with it proxying the data so therefore works slightly differently to all the other browsers.
So it seems like something is amiss with my settings / files that the default Browser, Dolphin and Skyfire use.
i was wondering how to quickly return to the built in browsers homepage on the hero phone. is there a menu option i'm missing as i seem to have to repetedly press the back button to get back to my selected homepage. also when i close the browser it reopens on the last page i viewed. have read you just bookmark homepage but was hoping there was a better shortcut key to return to homepage.
View 3 Replies View RelatedVersion 2.5 of Dolphin is now available in the market. For those upgrading, make sure you have backed up your bookmarks, as the upgrade blows them away. Also make sure you've saved the URL of your home page.I have mine backed up in Google Bookmarks so I can easily reload them into Dolphin.Version 2.5 is really nice, so far, with a simplified menu, better colors and visuals and the return of the scroll indicator.
