Sprint HTC Hero :: Bigger Dial Pad
Oct 23, 2009does anyone else think that the phone dial pad on the hero is pretty small?I checked the market and they dont offer a bigger dial pad.I really like the one i've seen on the g1.Can the dial pad take up the whole screen?Maybe Im missing something here.

May 11, 2010When I open a web page with the stock browser I see the entire page shrunk down to nothing. I have to to make each page normal size. What can I do to make the pages open bigger an in a normal Mobile view.

Jun 17, 2010My internal storage is currently 337 MB. I was planning on buying a bigger SD card, either 16GB or 32GB. I'm very new to everything with Androids and have never been big with computers. I read that if I want a lot of applications and everything that I would have to root the phone because the internal storage is so limited and then move everything to the SD card. I tried rooting the phone, it didn't work (I didn't mess up anything with the phone, probably just missed a step), but considering I still know so little about all this I decided it would be better to wait with rooting. Will I be fine with not rooting my phone and picking up a bigger SD card or will my phone run very slow once I start installing a lot of stuff?

May 22, 2013Cant download anything bigger than 4gb to external sd card. I have a T769 Blaze and have a 32gb external sd card installed, a sandisk hicap. I installed it factory and no luck. Read some forums and formated it to exfat, then ntsf, both read fine and can store up to 4gb but no more, tried all the various apps to get it to store when downloading but always get size limit error. How can I get my OS to allow bigger than 4gb to download to my 32gb sd card. Note: I have no issues when trying to move files from PC to phone, just downloading them from the Internet either by download site or torrent. Got some movies and software I need to get. OS is ics 4.0.4 rooted stock. I am a good pc geek but limited on android/linux skills.

Sep 15, 2010Downloaded CM6 R1 for Hero onto SD Card (had Fresh ROM) and then flashed CM 6 and Google apps as per instructions.
Everything seems top work well except that the phone/SD Card is not recognized when connected to computer with USB.
I found this out when I went to try tethering and PDA Net. Neither worked and then I realized the phone is not being recognized by the computer.
My computer at work tried to load some ADB drivers but errored out.
When I connect the phone to either of my 3 computers I either get no popup or a popup saying do you want to load ADB drivers (which errors out).

I get the following error when trying to take pictures on my HTC Hero (Sprint) "Unable to save file to SD card due to insufficient file permissions" I have removed and replaced the card. It will work for about 15 minutes then the same error. I also backed up everything and formatted the card. It worked again for about 15 minutes then the same error.

Feb 27, 2010I have a rooted HTC Hero (Sprint), Fresh, Gumbo Kernel that runs wonderfully. Lateley however, my phone is not reading my sd card. Im unaware of the class, but it is an 8gb scan disk minisd. It has worked for over a year. I try to copy my information onto my desktop to reformat the sd, but it stops in the middle of the transfer. I have tried to find info on this issue, and I apologize if a thread has already been started.
