Sprint HTC Hero :: Does Radio Shack Allow 30 Day Return?
Feb 21, 2010Does Radio Shack allow 30 day return?

View 2 RepliesI have now called 5 different stores in my area (Anaheim, CA) and all have said they are only selling to new and upgrade eligible customers the first day. They are NOT selling any unactivated on Friday at all. If you are paying full retail and planning to go to RS, you may want to call and make sure they will sell you one.
View 1 Replies View RelatedMy 6-day old Evo needs to be exchange due to a faulty vibrating motor. Instead of just swapping out my Evo with one in stock in the store, the gentlemen in charge tells me he must have them ship him a new one before I can exchange. How crazy is that?Anyone else have a problem exchanging the phone?

View 4 Replies View RelatedCan you preorder the Evo from Best Buy or Radio Shack if you are an existing customer on the EPRP plan (without changing your plan)?
View 14 Replies View RelatedAre they only offering universal screen protectors for the evo? sorry if this has been discussed already.
View 12 Replies View RelatedSo is anyone getting a free bluetooth headset from radio shack with their order of the EVO? Going to pick mine up in 2.5 hrs and cant wait.
View 4 Replies View RelatedI picked up my phone on launch day, version 2 hw. I was having a bit of the grounding issue, but the big problem was light leakage onto the screen. The whole bottom of the screen was brighter than the top. And the headphone port was junk. So I finally got my replacement yesterday, hoping to get a better phone. I turn it on, and its still a version 2 hardware. Looks good though as I played with it throughout the day. This morning I had some time to really look at it, and noticed a bunch of problems. The battery cover does not fit properly, the whole right side doesnt click in. It's literally just hanging there and has fallen off twice already. The grounding issue is bad on this phone, it wont even work in my gps holder in my car. And I am getting serious light leakage on the bottom of the phone now. I can literally stick my whole fingernail in between the bottom of the screen and the bezel. So what should I do here? Should I just try to get another replacement from RS and HOPE it works better? Or should I try to complain to Sprint about it? Sprint already told me they cant do anything yet since its within the 30 day purchase period. I really dont have time to be running back and forth to RS all week waiting for a replacement.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIt seems a lot of "first bills" are now posted on your Sprint Account. For those of you who are NEW SPRINT CUSTOMERS and bought your device at either SAM'S CLUB or RAT-IO SHACK and who are supposed to get a "corporate discount" of some type:
Did that discount show up on your first bill? SAMS or RAT SHACK ONLY!
When deleting an email I'd like the view to return to the in-box rather than go to the next message. Anybody figure out how to do that? I've looked around and cant figure it out
View 3 Replies View RelatedI did some searching in the forums and could not find an answer to this. I realize it's not a major problem but it is something that is driving me nuts. This is my first Android phone and I just got it, was previously using WinMo. In my email I was able to set it so that when I was viewing an email and decided to delete it while viewing it, I would go directly back to the inbox but my Hero automatically goes to the next email on all accounts. How or can I change this?
Also, is there a way to set email so that I have a choice of which email I want to open by a list (similar to an account picker?)
How do I erase all data or do a hard reset?
View 1 Replies View RelatedThe shiny silver bezel around the mini USB charging port on my phone cracked and came off. No idea how it happened but about half of it is missing. I have insurance on the phone but i was wondering if this would warrant being able to return it?

View 16 Replies View RelatedI'm on 2.1 official, rooted. Can I flash different radio versions?
View 8 Replies View RelatedBeen running Fresh 2.1.1 for about a week now and it seems pretty good. But with 2.1.2 just out I'm planning on flashing that as soon as possible. I've been running the stock radio and RA and wanted to get some feedback on weather it would be beneficial to update both the radio and RA to the newest versions available before I flash to 2.1.2. My awake time is at about 10% and cell standby is using 48% of my battery while phone idle is using 44%. Does this sound normal? If not would flashing a new radio and RA help resolve these issues?
View 7 Replies View RelatedThe newest Sprint HTC Hero maintenance update from 11/19/10 also added a new radio baseband update. The version number is 2.42.02.10.29.

well i really wanna listen to a radio station thats in my city through my phone. I no zune has a built in radio so i figured there must be a app or something?
View 12 Replies View RelatedI own a HTC Hero, I live in Philadelphia and I like to listen to a radio station called wmmr. I can't use the browser and so far I can't find a app that allows me to listen to this specific radio station. Does anyone know how I can listen to this station?

View 6 Replies View RelatedI recently purchased a Sprint HTC Hero, updated to 1.56 and it still has horrendous battery life. I charged it to 100%, unplugged it, didn't touch it once and 4 hours later the battery was almost dead. After troubleshooting I think that the ZERO cellular reception I get in my home is the culprit. I believe that the phone is constantly searching for service and causing a battery drain. The HTC Sense widget only turns off the Cellular DATA, but not the actually radio. I would like to be able to leave WiFi on (i use Google Voice SMS at home) and disable the CDMA Radio alltogether.. is there a way?
View 3 Replies View RelatedQuick question from a new rooter/rom user:
Can I remove the radio.zip (from the radio update) and the ra.img (from the recovery image) files from my SD Card?
I tried searching, but couldn't find anything.
I had A online radio working last week. I just tried it now and it doesn't stream anything. Anyone have problems with this or anything like that? I uninstalled and reinstalled the program and same affect, starts to buffer then just says "stopped". Pandora is working fine for me.
View 17 Replies View RelatedJust a few questions on flashing a new radio on a Sprint Hero, as I'd like to be sure I won't brick my phone and there really don't seem to be many guides on this.
Are certain radios only compatible with certain ROMs? If so, what do you do if you want to flash a new ROM afterwards? In the event a radio flash fails, can you attempt to flash a different one or is your phone pretty much bricked at that point?
I'll probably have more questions later, as the thought of bricking my new Hero is well, I'd really rather not have to go back to my old BlackBerry.
I recently updated to Damage's 2.05 ROM and now I can't find the A Online Radio app that I really like. I searched 4shared and found the apk but it will not install???
Does anyone have this or can anyone with a different ROM see if its in the market?
I have a nandroid backup of several roms where I had it installed, can I copy it over to this ROM somehow? And why can't it install it? Is it protected?
I just wondered if anyone had managed to radio 5 live working on the htc hero?
