I can't get "Call Confirm" on my Sprint HTC hero, any suggestions?
I tried installing through this site and through the app marketplace on my phone with no luck.

View 3 Replies View RelatedWhy does the text entry always ask me to confirm the last word of a sentence that ends with something other than a period? It's kind of annoying (using Handcent) to have to press on the spellchecked word before moving on or sending a text message. Sometimes I can just hit send, and sometimes it just blinks at me until I confirm that, yes, I did want to end my message or sentence with "Why?" or whatever happens to be at the end.
Annoying. Anything I can do to get rid of this?
Can someone confirm a picture taken with the stock settings in the camera can now be sent via sms?
On my end, it will show compressing the pic, the recipient never receives. (No I am not connecting via wifi.)
Hi I'm having this problem with the search key when I first got my hero it would give me suggestions as I typed in my search know it wont no more.

When I click on any of the top 3 update options (Firmware, Profile, or PRL) the option turns green while my finger is on it but doesn't respond. This happened in the weeks before the 2.1 update also, but I just stuck it out, and after the 2.1 update it worked again - until recently. Now no updates can be requested. No root. Any ideas?

After I press the search key on the phone I start typing into the search box an no green boxes with search suggestions appear. I don't know what happened and I am kinda disappointed about it. I have reset my phone numerous times and still no luck. Also when I am typing texts and emails it does give me word suggesting like for spelling etc.

View 3 Replies View RelatedSince I got my Hero in November, I've been able to use the internet while on a phone call through my Bluetooth headset.I've done it hundreds of times.Everything from surfing the web to clicking and viewing picture links in Twitter texts.Suddenly, tonight, I tried to do it and noticed that I had no internet connection.As soon as I hung up from the call, the internet kicked back on.I looked up what I was trying to look up and when I got another phone call, it kicked off again.I have looked up this issue and have read repeatedly that you can't do this on a CDMA network.My question is this...why was I able to do it for months and suddenly I'm not? The most recent time it happened I remember that I happened to have the phone in my hand when it rang so i answered it immediately but i heard nothing on the other end... they called back again and this time i let it ring twice before answering it and didn't have a problem that time...

View 9 Replies View RelatedI'm having a very annoying problem with my Sprint HTC Hero, as follows:
When an incoming call comes in after my phone has been dormant for a while (screen off), I am often unable to answer it, because the phone just hangs for about 5 or 10 seconds. That is to say, the phone rings, and the screen lights up and displays the caller ID, but when I try to drag the slider down on the screen to answer the call, nothing happens -- the screen is basically frozen up. It hangs like this for a few seconds -- just long enough that I'm unable to answer the call in time.
Does anyone else have this problem? Do you guys think this is a software issue or a hardware issue? And, most importantly, does anyone know of a fix for this?
First post here....biggest issue with the Hero is that when you are in a call, the screen time's out. If you are in a call that you need to hit numbers, then you have to hit the power button, then swipe, then get to your keypad. Is there a way of preventing the screen from timing out while in a call? If I switch to "never", will that stop it?

It appears that the Hero does not have a proximity sensor so the screen stays active during a call and I am always touching it with my face which hangs up or launches something etc.
